  1. Artist: Carol Duboc Title: Open The Curtains Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Gold Note Music Genre: Jazz: Smooth Jazz, R&B, Funk Quality: FLAC MP3 Total Time: 41:42 Total Size: 275 MB 103 MB Tracklist: 1. In Pieces (Feat. Mindi Abair & Sheila E.) (3:28) 2. Feeling Good (Feat. Patrice Rushen & Rhonda Smith) (3:46) 3. Open The Curtains (Feat. Patrice Rushen) (4:51) 4. Forget Me Nots (Feat. Patrice Rushen & Bibi McGill) (5:00) 5. Whisper (Feat. Patrice Rushen) (4:27) 6. Faces (Feat. Patrice Rushen & Jennifer Batten) (3:43) 7. Fever (Feat. Aubrey Logan) (4:09) 8. Miss You Missing Me (3:25) 9. Precious (Feat. Mindi Abair) (3:57) 10. I'm Gone (Feat. Jennifer Batten) (4:51) Jazz vocalist and pianist Carol Duboc delivers her eighth solo album presenting seven vibrant originals and three cover tunes on a set of jazz, R&B, funk and Smooth-styled music on the exciting Open The Curtains. Making this a special recording for Duboc, the singer illuminates the power of women by assembling an all-star, talented cast of female players including Patrice Rushen, Sheila E, and Mindi Abair among others. The result of course, is a collection of hard-driving soulful songs with an appreciable groove propelling the music forward. The gyrating and percussive "In Pieces," starts the ball rolling featuring the Afro-Latin funk sounds of Sheila E pounding the rhythm as saxophonist Abair extends herself on a burning solo, the song was inspired by a partnership that didn't go well and the tune is meant to convey the act of bouncing back and not falling to pieces. "Feeling Good" is one of the covers of the set and a tribute piece to the great Nina Simone, in which the singer voices the lyrics with emotion and a bit of soul. The title track brings out the funk-side of the leader as she and the ladies who provide the background vocals, reveals what's behind the curtains: high-octane funk and superb piano work by Rushen. Having perhaps one of the finest melodies of the session, the light "Whisper" is one of the standout songs of the album featuring Rushen on Fender Rhodes, Bibi McGill on guitar, bassist Rhonda Smith and Cora Coleman (Queen Cora) on the drums. All the ladies seem to get into the action on the fast-paced swinging and R&B-styled "Faces," a personal favorite of the leader that here, provides one shoulder-moving statement. The vocalist sings one sultry and seductive rendition of the classic "Fever," showcasing Aubrey Logan on the trombone and Queen Cora on the drums. The Queen is also on tap on the hard-driving "Miss You Missing Me," as Duboc belts out the lyrics and the drums pound out the beats on another upbeat and lively song. The music begins to close on the delicate and smooth-styled "Precious" highlighted by Abair's soothing soprano saxophone voice and comes to an end on the funky/R&B-tinged finale "I'm Gone," as the songstress reaches and provides a graceful exit. A gifted singer and composer, Carol Duboc unveils an enchanting and tasteful selection of songs designed to get one moving and bopping your head when you Open The Curtains, well done! ~Edward Blanco Personnel: Carol Duboc: vocals; Patrice Rushen: piano; Fender Rhodes, synthesizer, organ; Cora Coleman (Queen Cora): drums; Rhonda Smith: upright bass, electric bass; Sheila E: percussion; Mind Abair: tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone; Bibi McGill: Guitars; Jennifer Batten: Guitar (6, 10); Aubrey Logan: trombone (7); Anna Duboc: background vocals (3); Ava Dela Cruz: background vocals (3). http://rapidgator.net/file/2e20259f07c26fd2e742fb0da014fe57/CarolDubocCurtainsLL2016.rar.html http://rapidgator.net/file/f7ca62aa8bd9b7b6a640d3a3cd000b5b/CarolDubocCurtains2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/1t3DxNwtO/CarolDubocCurtainsLL2016.rar http://ssh.tf/mb8cU1vtO/CarolDubocCurtains2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/kubhqim7twtu/CarolDubocCurtainsLL2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/jbqto7giby3u/CarolDubocCurtains2016.rar
  2. Artist: Gloria Estefan Title: Unwrapped Year Of Release: 2003 Label: Epic Genre: Pop Quality: FLAC (image+.cue) / MP3 320 Kbps Total Time: 01:03:25 Total Size: 474 Mb / 161 Mb Tracklist: 01. Tu fotografia 02. Te amar? 03. Mientras tanto 04. Hoy 05. A little push 06. Time waits 07. Dangerous game 08. Into you 09. One name 10. I will always need your love 11. Say goodbye 12. I wish you 13. You 14. Famous 15. Te amar ? (english version) 16. Your picture 17. Wrapped 18. In the meantime Like Jewel and Liz Phair, Gloria Estefan chose a total change of direction for her 2003 release, writing all of the earnest and reflective lyrics for the soul-searching and devoid-of-dance-pop Unwrapped. With the most detailed production to ever grace the singer's albums (swirling Mellotrons, Andean flutes, and a McCartney-esque muted-megaphone vocal trick that shows up too often) Unwrapped stumbles over itself trying to put Estefan's emotional lyrics up front. Longtime collaborator Jon Secada and a revolving door of writers contribute the hookless accompaniment to Estefan's rhetorical flourishes and excessive use of clich??s. Her authentic delivery shows she's really behind the new direction, which makes the urgent metaphors a little easier to take in small bites. Without even a hint of levity, sitting through the whole album feels like an exhausting open-mic night at the coffee shop. "Te Amar??" and "Wrapped" right some of the wrongs with light Latin touches offering relief, and the four Spanish-language reprises at the end of the album find the singer sounding twice as confident. The guest spots are left to the less ambitious numbers, with Stevie Wonder adding some exuberance to "Into You," and Chrissie Hynde trading lines with Estefan on "One Name" isn't as awkward as expected. Had Unwrapped snuck in some of the new Gloria among some of the old, it could have been more successful. Covering up the underdeveloped writing with sonic overkill, it is as least interesting and a good setup for the expected "return-to-form" album. http://rapidgator.net/file/131aadc0287859e079d9e6e1d5b46ef7/003Unwrapped.rar.html http://rapidgator.net/file/f81e8de512b9ba5cecd12b86e2a69669/003Unwrapped_320.rar.html http://ssh.tf/Btfp8fjBO/003Unwrapped.rar http://ssh.tf/CowLZkqBO/003Unwrapped_320.rar https://bytewhale.com/v4ul4nn2gpem/003Unwrapped.rar https://bytewhale.com/hc37a1ch0aby/003Unwrapped_320.rar

Waiting On A Night Like This (4:16) 10. Leave (My Poor Heart Alone) (3:16) 11. Gone Is Still Goodbye (4:10) 12. Back On The Highway Again (2:39) Tom Wurth writes and plays music that comes from his own personal and musical journey. The lyrics are direct from the heart and soul, whether they are songs he writes or the songs he picks. His melodies and vocals meld soulful country with tinges of R&B and gospel. You aren't listening to a labeled genre, but a rich blend of many, when you hear Tom Wurth sing one of his songs. The appeal of the lyrics and the melodies are universal and destined to be classics. The Midwest isn't just a place Wurth hails from, but provides the roots for his music. The music comes direct from the songs he listened to over his life and those vocalists and musicians that made that music. It is steeped in rich country story telling traditions with updated lyrics relevant for today's audience. Listen to his song, "Good Ground," from his first album and you will have a good start on understanding Tom Wurth and his music. Wurth grew up in the small farming community of Marcus, Iowa where integrity and hard work formed the backbone of everyday life. He learned at an early age that those traits, along with persistence, were the key elements to any level of success. His love of singing, playing and performing came naturally as part of a musical family. Wurth knew where he was going early on and didn't waste time deciding his vocational direction. By the time he was ready to strike out on his own, a trip to Nashville determined that music would consume the rest of his life. He enrolled in Belmont University in Nashville in 1994 and the decision charted his course from that day forward. After a brief college career pursuing a Degree in Music Business at Belmont, Wurth landed his first industry job with J. Aaron Brown and Associates and their label, Someday Baby. This first opportunity as a record label mailroom clerk was to give Wurth his first taste of success thanks to a twist of fate. Recognizing Wurth's exceptional vocals Brown asked him to lend his voice to "Lovesongs and Lullabyes for Daddy's Little Dreamer." The project led to Wurth's Grammy Nomination in 1997 as the vocalist for the project in the category of Best Musical Album for Children. It was an honor that few artists get to experience right out of the gate. The Grammy experience fresh in his mind, Wurth pushed forward with his songwriting aspirations leaving the mailroom behind. The next step he had to make was finding a home for his songs and a publishing deal fell in line to achieve that goal when he signed as a staff writer with Belden Enterprises. Taking advantage of this next step in his career Wurth applied his "hard work" ethic to hone his craft as a songwriter and as a vocalist. The reward was signing with one of the largest publishers in the world, BMG Music Publishing. Validation as a songwriter came with two major record label cuts in 2002 by national recording artists Ty Herndon and Ken Mellons. "If the Road Runs Out," written with David Fraiser and Bill Luther, appeared as one of only three new songs on Herndon's Greatest Hits album. Ken Mellons cut "I Can't Kick My Country" written by Wurth, along with Bart Butler and Mellons. The track appeared on the NASCAR country compilation, "Inside Traxx." Determined to not only be a songwriter, but a performer, Wurth hit the road playing casinos, festivals, and fairs as a solo artist. During this time he opened up for some of the biggest names in country music including Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Billy Currington and Marty Stuart. He also shared the stage with Marty Raybon, Billy Dean, John Ford Coley, Vince Gill and other country artists as well as legendary rock and roller, Eddie Money. A born vocalist, what you hear from Wurth on stage is exactly what you heard on his album. In 2006, Wurth signed his first record deal. He recorded and released his first album, the self- titled "Tom Wurth" on Aspirion Records. The project was co-produced by Bart Butler and friend and mentor John Ford Coley. The first release, "Bread On The Table," reached the top thirty on the Music Row Country charts as well as earned a spot on CMT.com for the single's video. Tom left Aspirion Records in 2008 and signed with Big 7 Records. His next two single releases, "Good Ground" and "If The Road Runs Out," both reached top thirty status on the charts and further established his career as a solo artist. During this part of his career Wurth crossed paths with famed rocker Eddie Money. This led to their friendship and collaboration. Along with John Ford Coley and Johnny Gunn, Tom Wurth co-produced four country tracks for Money. The country project, "The Other Side Of Money" included a remake of the Money's hit, "Two Tickets To Paradise" as well as "Gimme Some Water" that featured Vince Gill on the track. "Every once in a while, someone comes along that has the quality, that believability tone in their voice with a simple but honest emotion, like he's talking late at night to his sweetheart in a quiet driveway. It's a gift. Tom Wurth has that gift. At least I thought so when a buddy of mine turned me on to his music. From Cincinnati to New York City, clear down to Los Angeles.just kick back, push the play button, and check out this young talented storyteller. He'll be talking to you!" - An "Old Rock and Roller. That digs Good Country" Eddie Money Tom Wurth pours himself into every aspect of his music. Whether it comes to performing for fans, producing records for fellow artists or continuing to collaborate on new songs Wurth is a hands on artist with a clear direction. In 2012, Wurth signed with TaDa Records recording the studio album, "Midnight Rain." The album brings his soulful blend of country with his trademark additions of R&B and gospel appealing to a broad audience range. The first single, "To Love Somebody," was released in late 2012. Tom's schedule for 2013 is already filling with other milestones. He has chosen to parti[beeep]te in a Tractor Ride across his home state of Iowa in support of Blanks Children's Hospital of Des Moines. The event will involve a six day trek on a tractor from western Iowa to Dubuque on the eastern border and will stop in selected towns where Wurth will perform to raise money for the children. Wurth lives and breathes the music and it is shown in his care for his craft. He puts his heart and soul into every aspect. His dedication to his fans and his audience is unparalleled. That devotion keeps him on the road performing, writing as often as he can and being behind the microphone and the board in his studio. When you love what you do it is reflected in the art you share and that is particularly true with Wurth's music. Tom Wurth music - country tradition steeped in soul with blues and gospel that resonate real life. 11. Artist: Brian Charette Title: Upside Year Of Release: 2009 Label: SteepleChase Genre: Jazz Quality: Mp3 / 320kbps Total Time: 63:16 min Total Size: 145 MB Tracklist -------- 01. Yolk 02. Silicone Doll 03. Look Elsewhere 04. Public Transportation 05. You've Changed 06. Furthering Adventures 07. Altered Waltz 08. Girls 09. Prelude To a Kiss 10. Upper Manhattan Medical Group 11. Upside 12. Wish List Brian Charette is one of many New York City-based jazz musicians seeking to further his career. Following two projects for small labels (the first a self-produced outing), the organist should get greater recognition with this appearance on Steeplechase. Utilizing his working trio with guitarist Ben Monder (who has recorded extensively as a leader and sideman) and drummer Jochen Ruckert, Charette penned nine originals specifically for this session. The humorously titled "Silicone Doll" is not a parody of the famous Ellington ballad, though it is easy to imagine a pretty young lady walking to its catchy theme. The aggressive bop vehicle "Public Transportation" suggests the sudden lane changes in heavy traffic at high speed that stresses the hearts of tourists in New York City, while the lower-key "Altered Waltz" proves equally infectious. Charette's lyrical take of Duke Ellington's "Prelude to a Kiss" allows the ballad plenty of breathing room, with spacious chords on the organ and sensitive use of the volume pedal, while Monder also never adds an unnecessary note, all of it backed by Ruckert's sensitive brushwork. But the trio takes in "U.M.M.G." (aka "Upper Manhattan Medical Group") at a breezy clip, with plenty of fireworks. "Upside," penned by pianist Andy LaVerne for his meeting with organist Gary Versace, is pure groove music with a solid swagger. Brian Charette has staked his claim as one of the top jazz organists of his generation with this superb release. ~ Ken Dryden Personnel: Brian Charette (Hammond b-3 organ); Ben Monder (guitar). http://rapidgator.net/file/b369612266e963b91cc35607e3d50038/BrianCharetteUpside.rar.html http://ssh.tf/FXFaVd8tO/BrianCharetteUpside.rar https://bytewhale.com/v1yz83n5j2p6/BrianCharetteUpside.rar
  12. Artist: Brian Charette Title: Once & Future Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Posi-Tone Records Genre: Jazz, Hammond Organ Quality: 320 kbps Total Time: 58:29 Total Size: 140 MB Tracklist: 1. Jitterbug Waltz (4:14) 2. Tyrone (3:39) 3. Latin From Manhattan (3:54) 4. Da Bug (4:05) 5. At Last (4:48) 6. Hot Barbeque (4:29) 7. Dance Of The Infidels (3:02) 8. Zoltan (4:51) 9. The Scorpion (4:43) 10. Falling Fourth (3:19) 11. Ain't It Funky Now (3:34) 12. Mellow Mood (4:15) 13. Road Song (4:15) 14. Blues For 96 (5:14) Nobody who wields an instrument of any sort can truly escape the gravitational pull of history. There are many who try to fight it, but better to embrace what came before, acknowledge where a sound or concept originates, and use that knowledge as both a port of arrival and a point of departure. There are no severed ties between past, present, and future; there are only visible and obscured links. Organist Brian Charette's fourth album on the Posi-Tone imprint is fully invested in that art of recognition, the belief in invention, and, perhaps most importantly, reconciliation between the two. Charette covers a good deal of music written by or associated with some iconic organists-Fats Waller, Jimmy Smith, Brother Jack McDuff, and Larry Young among them-and puts the material through his own spin cycle, influenced by modernists among us like the forward-thinking Sam Yahel and chops 'n' groove champion Joey DeFrancesco. The album falls a notch or two lower on the quirky/freewheeling scale than his previous releases for the label, but it's just as enjoyable and listener-friendly. Charette travels through fourteen songs here with a pair of label-mates who are well-suited to this environment-guitarist Will Bernard and drummer Steve Fidyk. Together they reconstitute a series of classics and should-be classics with originality and taste, mixing in three originals from the leader for good measure. Jocular moods and serious skills mix often, grooves run deep, and transience triumphs, both in terms of style and song length. This crew moves easily and quickly from funk to swing and soul to bop while extending on the tradition(s). That once and future blend is always in sight, as demonstrated right off the bat on the back-to-back pairing of Waller's "Jitterbug Waltz" and Young's "Tyrone." The former is tied to the jovial, cascading melodic truths of its origins while the latter is reborn as a funky vehicle in seven. The remainder of the program is no less invested in the idea of bridging then with now. Kylie Myers) After 11 seasons playing Major League Baseball, Brett Myers retired to his Florida hometown to be with his family. What baseball fans didn't realize, is for years Myers had been playing guitar and writing songs in the off season. From the time he was a young boy, Myers always had a love for country, classic and hard rock. However, with his rigorous baseball schedule, he never had a chance to pursue songwriting in a serious manner. One day while playing golf, he shared some ideas with his musician friend and producer Damien Starkey (Puddle of Mudd, Burn Season), who was blown away by his clever concepts. The two began collaborating and crafting songs in Starkey's studio. Before long, it was undeniable that they had a great chemistry and the songs to prove it. The result is Myers debut EP album "Backwoods Rebel." A perfect blend of Southern Rock and Country with witty lyrics about drinking and life in the woods. The first single "Kegerator", was leaked on the nationally syndicated radio show "Lex and Terry" , and received huge acclaim from both the hosts and the call in listeners. If this response is any indication, "Backwoods Rebel" will surely resonate well with country and rock fans alike. . http://rapidgator.net/file/8dc40833e731e809a54828362bfaa75c/bmyw.rar.html http://ssh.tf/jBT1Ga1tO/bmyw.rar https://bytewhale.com/swft56i1olha/bmyw.rar

Since when was Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" about an upright bass fiddle? At what point did Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" evolve into a '20s hot jazz tune? And whose idea was it to rework Lorde's "Royals" into a polished ballad sung by a sad clown? It's all part of the topsy-turvy world of Postmodern Jukebox, an ongoing musical project spearheaded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, who takes contemporary pop and rock tunes and fashions new arrangements for them that cast them in an unpredictable variety of musical styles from the past. Born on Long Island, Bradlee relocated to New York City after studying jazz at the University of Hartford. While playing gigs at restaurants and nightclubs in New York City, Bradlee began experimenting with ragtime and jazz arrangements of pop tunes from the '80s, and he recorded several self-released digital albums of his offbeat versions of well-known melodies, as well as performances that interpolated seemingly dissimilar songs of different eras. Bradlee upped the ante on these experiments in 2012 with an album called A Motown Tribute to Nickelback, but as he began imagining a new platform for his experiments, he thought of YouTube, where he had been posting solo performance videos since 2009. In 2013, Bradlee began posting weekly videos in which he and a rotating cast of musicians and vocalists performed a new song each week, recorded live in a single take in Bradlee's living room. In September 2013, Bradlee posted his '50s-style reimagining of Cyrus' "We Can't Stop," and the clip soon went viral, racking up over four million views in less than two months and topping 14 million two years later. Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox channel was soon racking up Internet successes on a regular basis, and Bradlee continued to release both videos and albums based on his playful fun-house covers of popular songs. By 2015, Bradlee had made over 130 Postmodern Jukebox clips available online, and he and his crew were taking the show on the road, touring in North America, Europe, and the United Kingdom. ~by Mark Deming http://rapidgator.net/file/e461cb124b57f3f19fb66a693aeca7f3/ScottBradleeVoteLL2016.rar.html http://rapidgator.net/file/9a24cfef2206388652deb932a8cc5c96/ScottBradleeVote2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/r7CogICeO/ScottBradleeVoteLL2016.rar http://ssh.tf/fwr2cT2eO/ScottBradleeVote2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/a1jsapz072ch/ScottBradleeVoteLL2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/nvmhkjua6iu7/ScottBradleeVote2016.rar

Moderato (cadence Lars Bornkera) [11:21] 06. II. Allegretto sostenuto [04:50] 07. III. Allegro giojoso [09:36] Performers: Lars Bj?¸rnkj??r (violin) Aarhus Symphony Orchestra Conductor Giordano Bellincampi Appreciation for the compositions from Scandinavian countries seems to be somewhat of an uphill battle. Apart from the works of Grieg and Nielsen, most other composers from this area of the globe are overlooked. This album of violin concertos by Norwegian composers Johan Svendsen and Peter Lange-M??ller seeks to break this injustice. Svendsen's concerto makes clear that the composer was himself a violinist; the solo part is very idiomatically written, favoring lyricism over showiness. The orchestral accompaniment is sometimes overbearing and gets in the way of the solo violin's much more interesting and inspired contribution. By contrast, Lange-M??ller's concerto is much more virtuosic for the solo violin, but never appearing to be difficult just for the sake of being difficult. The solo violin duties are ably handled by Lars Bj?¸rnkj??r, whose sweet but intense sound rises above even the most densely scored moments in the Svendsen concerto. Listeners will at once notice Bj?¸rnkj??r's passion for the music he is playing, truly giving every note importance and vibrancy as he tries to resurrect these little known works. He is joined by the ??rhus Symphony Orchestra under Giordano Bellincampi. While the orchestra generally performs sufficiently, there are moments (as in the opening of the Svendsen concerto) where intonation in the wind section is troublingly problematic. Still Bj?¸rnkj??r's performance more than makes up for these shortcomings, and listeners interested in hearing new works will still find this album a welcome addition to their collection. http://rapidgator.net/file/df255b2c1ec3d3debd8eba68b9f9d516/007LangeMuller.rar.html http://ssh.tf/a0jB6GCBO/007LangeMuller.rar https://bytewhale.com/oqivj5jcxu2h/007LangeMuller.rar

Dancing In The Dark (3:19) It has taken cool jazz singer/pianist Bonnie Lowdermilk a little more than a decade to resurface after releasing her debut CD This Heart Of Mine with the Fred Hersch Trio to deliver her follow-up album Up To Now. With all arrangements made by Lowdermilk, the album showcases a broad range of standards from the upbeat swing kilting of Cole Porter's "Get Out Of Town" to Henry Mancini's puttering carousal ride "Whistlin' In The Dark," in addition to a few originals written by Lowdermilk like the silky beading of "Bankin' On The Moon" and the gently propelled "All That I Know." Assisting Lowdermilk with the swing-inspired rhythms and carpeting of harmoniously groomed motifs are bassists Ken Walker and Mark Simon, drummer Colin Stranahan, trumpeter Greg Gisbert, saxophonist Peter Sommer, and trombonist Nelson Hingle. Lowdermilk is schooled in tailoring her vocal melodies to the mood of the music as she vacillates from traipsing like a woodland sprite in "Day By Day" to crooning like a maiden whose fantasy-man has lost his luster in "You've Changed" and scatting like a cat indulging her freewill in "Joy Spring." Her vocal strut boasts a self-assurance relatable to Diana Krall and a rhythmic chiming reflective of Dena DeRose. Lowdermilk adds personality and poignant inflections through Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern's tune "Nobody Else But Me," and evokes pure emotion along the wispy strokes of "Moon River" as her vocals advance and ebb along the ducts of lacy piano keys. The horn arrangement opening "Power Tool" exude a spirited rhapsody which switches directions and fosters a supper club atmosphere in "Dancing In The Dark." Lowdermilk's style of singing is dapper chaffed in roughly cut edges that give her resonance a rugged texture that is both real and attractive. Writing and performing for two decades now, Bonnie Lowdermilk has honed her craft to a Dianne Reeves-sparkle. Over the years, Lowdermilk has worked in a wide array of forums from being a solo artist to performing in duets, trios, quartets, quintets, and sextets in clubs, concerts, parties, festivals, and other events. Her palate is broad as she is able to sing in French, Portuguese and English, and groomed as an instructor to administer piano and vocal lessons. Lowdermilk has a penchant for grabbing a song's reins with a firm grip, and thrusting her voice forward displaying a clarity and elasticity that is inviting as she asserts a bold presence in the vocal melodies relatable to such prominent singers as Frank Sinatra and Wayne Newton. ~by Susan Frances http://rapidgator.net/file/beac7fb79bd7fa54c7ec588877ace644/BonnieLowdermilkNow2009.rar.html http://ssh.tf/3mB5b6ttO/BonnieLowdermilkNow2009.rar https://bytewhale.com/h8d1xrijg14u/BonnieLowdermilkNow2009.rar

  20. Artist: Bonni Title: Get Your Ticket Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Self Released Genre: Blues, Soul, R&B Quality: FLAC MP3 Total Time: 34:24 Total Size: 252 MB 101 MB Tracklist: 1. Grand Daddy Took A Train (4:51) 2. C'est La Vie (3:31) 3. Black Angel (3:57) 4. Stars Are Falling (3:37) 5. Terrorist (3:52) 6. How Can I (4:46) 7. Preacher Man (5:43) 8. Katrina (4:04) The late James Brown once embodied the spirit of a new and consciously aware Black America when he shouted, "Say it loud! I'm Black and I'm proud!" And we will be heard. Listen closely to Bonni's music and you can't help but hear, in the spirit of Black Lives Matter and other aspects and dimensions of the modern day civil rights movement, that same uncompromising demand: the rage of a steel rose inside a velvet case. -Keith A. Owens, Senior Editor, The Michigan Chronicle The sheer majesty of Bonnie Maxwell's music-the soaring power of her voice, the deeply pleasurable grooves laid down by her band, the sinuous call-and-response siren songs that compel you ever deeper inside her stories-might just distract you from the frightening reality of the world she describes. Like all great Soul artists (Aretha, Stevie, Marvin, Nina), Bonni never sacrifices the groove for the sake of the message, but it's that message-what's going on between those beats-that ends up haunting you for days. Songs like Grand Daddy Took a Train find the universal in the particular, relating family history to a larger story of societal exodus and aspiration. C'est la Vie recognizes the grinding, day-to-day human parade of mendacity and malice but its silky, cat-like bounce refuses to admit to despair. And the spooky, remarkable Black Angel proclaims that, after all is said and done, checking out is not an option. "Soul" music is about what's inside Black experience. It's about bearing witness, legitimizing one's own humanity, about making the sale for one's own individual worth and identity. Here is music that locates and identifies that private reality and places it in the sweep of history, into our current struggle for dignity. It's in Bonni's voice, a sensibility composed and worldly-wise, an atom moving through time and space, buffeted by external forces, resolved finally into a point, a center that cannot be crushed, a clear, implacable voice that cajoles, suggests, calls out for and finally demands justice. -Richard Chon, Author/Musician http://rapidgator.net/file/e24fbc712f182be22585b80624e4c2cb/BonniTicketLL2016.rar.html http://rapidgator.net/file/2252a70a190ef8c7953a1a1b1136635d/BonniTicket2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/zuKlPqetO/BonniTicketLL2016.rar http://ssh.tf/gshr1F5tO/BonniTicket2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/z8qwnefam4bg/BonniTicketLL2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/4ogh43bo07hz/BonniTicket2016.rar

~Mark Deming http://rapidgator.net/file/8ac1f1f958218988e290e89cfffccc7e/ScottBradleesPMJ2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ZnKmKHveO/ScottBradleesPMJ2016.rar https://bytewhale.com/pat2redmhh1e/ScottBradleesPMJ2016.rar
