Artist: Daniel Karlsson Trio Title: Fusion For Fish Year Of Release: 2014 Label: Brus & Knaster Genre: Jazz Quality: FLAC (tracks) / MP3 Total Time: 42:50 min Total Size: 244 MB / 101 MB Tracklist: 1. Preparation [0:38] 2. Cousin Cuisin [6:42] 3. Fusion For Fish [4:14] 4. Route 222 [4:56] 5. Freshwater Tourist [7:10] 6. Correspondence With Folke Bengtsson [7:14] 7. Paddy Tang [5:23] 8. Mrs Mermaid [5:11] 9. Conclusion [1:23] Personnel: Daniel Karlsson - piano and keyboards; Kristian Lind - double bass; Fredrik Rundquist - drums; Andreas Hourdakis - guitar. Swedish pianist Daniel Karlsson's adopts the standard piano trio format, but his music is anything but formulaic. Influences such as club music, dance and electronica are evident - and it makes for great listening. Karlsson is a member of the Magnus Ostrom Band - as is guitarist Andreas Hourdakis who features on two tracks of this second album by Karlsson as leader - and you can tell instantly that there's a strong rhythmic component to this music with a modern, metronomic and hypnotic drum beat to many tracks that suggests a family lineage back to E.S.T. as well as the the rich Nordic heritage in jazz piano. Karlsson has played with most of the contemporary Swedish greats and many European stars so he's earned his jazz spurs. Alongside Karlsson are the musicians who appeared on his first album Das Taxibat (2013), drummer Fredrik Rundquist and bassist Kristian Lind who provide good support and touches of individual colour when required. This is an album of unashamedly modern European jazz that is rooted in the rich soil of the contemporary scene, rather than reaching back into the past. Opener Cousin cuisine bursts into life with a really insistent bass riff throughout that propels with its simplicity, allowing Karlsson to spread out over the top of it with some telling phrases that have a real positivity to them. Some of his electronic interludes, with their deep bass sound, suggest the underwater, hinting at the theme of the title track Fusion for fish, which is fast paced and packed with phrases that dart around, bringing to mind perhaps a shoal of whitebait. Fourth cut Route 222 - which leads who knows where - is a more straightforward slower tempo piece, leading into the up-beat Freshwater Tourist, which, with its block chord main theme, sounds a little like the Neil Cowley Trio. The stand-out track is the penultimate piece Mrs Mermaid, with a simple melody which gives Hourdakis plenty to work with and he doesn't disappoint, even with a relatively restrained guitar solo: he is, for me, one of the most distinctive guitar voices in European jazz and a great addition to the trio. What London's fish community thinks of this album is a mystery; but for those of us on dry land it offers a very welcome hour of fusion-tinged power jazz. Having enjoyed Karlsson's playing with the Magnus Ostrom Band it's great to hear more of his distinct voice on this, his second album, and I'm certainly tempted now to seek out this first. -- Rob Mallows http://rapidgator.net/file/c7f5535222c6cdee3ce30d39130ad5bb/FUFOF.rar.html http://ssh.tf/rD1t5fAbL/FUFOF.rar http://uploaded.net/file/0cawqzcx/FUFOF.rar

His father Eddie Bean, a native of Bruce, sang and played blues guitar and prior to Terry's birth traveled with an electric blues band. For many years Eddie Bean, who died in 1985, hosted informal music and gambling gatherings at the family's house on 'Bean Hill' in west Pontotoc. He also worked as a sharecropper, enlisting Terry and other of his fourteen children to pick cotton in the surrounding fields. Terry began playing guitar and harmonica as a child, and eventually his father began featuring him at the home gatherings and taking him along to other house parties. Terry decided to 'get serious' about the blues in 1988 after visiting the Delta Blues Festival in Greenville. Every weekend for three years Terry traveled to Greenville and its environs to play harmonica with James 'T-Model' Ford as well as Asie Payton at various juke joints. He also played across the Delta with artists including Lonnie Pitchford. These days Terry travels the world solo and with his band bringing Hill Country and Delta blues to every growing authentic blues loving fan base. His live performances are an amazing example of what it means to have fire and raw power. He is one of the best living bluesman in the world and would have held his own in any generation. Terry is hands down at the top of the heap as a Harmonica and Guitar player. On this live album, Terry "Harmonica" Bean and the Cornlickers take you back in time with "Rock This House Tonight", an incredible recording that captures the sound and furry of the house parties Terry grew up with. http://rapidgator.net/file/db13c22b00ac2922b095b463edfc087c/thbt.rar.html http://ssh.tf/mhtO0MU9L/thbt.rar http://uploaded.net/file/xzvxunxa/thbt.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/9d052035676824c7754414446271eab3/thbts.rar.html http://ssh.tf/9qfWWs59L/thbts.rar http://uploaded.net/file/rfhbezi1/thbts.rar

Artist: Ten Gallon Bratz Title: Tales from the Long Shadows Year Of Release: 2014 Label: Ten Gallon Bratz Genre: Roots Rock, Country, Americana Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 41:25 Total Size: 104 Mb Tracklist: 1. Nothing Left to Say 2. Same Old Song 3. New King in Town 4. Too Far Gone 5. All Fall Down 6. Fish Out of Water 7. Lifeline 8. Don't Leave It Too Late 9. Brand New Old Fashioned Blues 10. Who's Left to Save the Working Man 11. Not Your Enemy Ten Gallon Bratz hail from Greenock in the west of Scotland and began with Mark Dunsmore and Barrie Kelly back in the early nineties. After amassing a substantial and ever-growing body of work they decided to form a band to showcase the songs. Ten Gallon Bratz exists in two forms, a three-piece acoustic band and a full blown five-piece band. In addition to their latest release "Tales From The Long Shadows", the band has produced a number of demo CDs. Their thirteen track acoustic CD entitled "GHOST STORIES" (yes, well before Coldplay!) has been a great success and their second studio recorded album, "The Wilderness" demonstrating that the guys were in this for the long haul. The Wilderness album, which was partly recorded at Riverside studios by Duncan Cameron who has also worked with the like of Travis and Trash Can Sinatras, is a mixture of acoustic and full band tracks and, s with Ghost Stories, is available to download here. However, their latest release, "Tales From The Long Shadows" is the bands jewel in the crown and demonstrates the songwriting prowess that really is the foundation of Ten Gallon Bratz. This album was recorded by world renowned producer Mark Freegard ( Del Amitri; Eddie Reader (to name but a few)) in his intimate but inimitable Kyoti Studio in Glasgow, Scotland. In their career the guys have provided support slots for renowned artists such as legendary musician Albert Lee, as well as Colin Hay (Men At Work) Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze) Jan Akkerman (Focus), Eleanor McEvoy and JJ Gilmour (Silencers). They have also performed n a number of occasions at Glasgow's famous Celtic Connections festival. Ten Gallon Bratz music is broadly based in the Americana tradition where glorious three part harmonies are seamlessly combined with infectious hooks and intelligent lyrics. The band in general continues to increase its fan base due to a growing reputation for memorable songs combined with entertaining live shows. http://rapidgator.net/file/f6a59402e8c5501bf7c38778ea619aa2/tgbtftls.rar.html http://ssh.tf/EkpRxoz9L/tgbtftls.rar http://uploaded.net/file/02mzdd3t/tgbtftls.rar

She Was Meant To Be (6:19) 10. Who Knows Who (3:29) 11. Is It All Right (3:42) Tanel Padar is probably the most prominent figure in the Estonian popular music scene, known as an extremely versatile and powerful singer and guitar player, but also as a notorious stalked-by-tabloids ladies man, rebel and party animal. Tanel has won all possible awards and has parti[beeep]ted in almost every noteworthy musical event in Estonia over the last ten years. Tanel hosts popular TV-shows and acts in feature films and television series. In 2001 Tanel Padar won the Eurovision Song Contest together with Dave Benton. Although mostly known as a rock musician Tanel's relations with the blues reach his early youth. His public career began in 1999 with a blues band called Speed Free and continued for four years in the Estonia's oldest and most famous blues band Compromise Blue. In 2004 Tanel formed a rock band The Sun, which quickly became the most popular band in Estonia and their succsess does not show any signs of decline. Despite of his busiest schedule Tanel has still continuously parti[beeep]ted in various blues projects, often headlining the biggest blues and jazz festivals of the country. Tanel Padar Blues Band was also born in 2012 as a special project, but due to warmest reception from the audience and the band's excellent "click", it was decided to continue in the form of a permanent band. The band's members are exclusively the best blues players of Estonia. The members can vary in different situations, but it is most often five-piece band of: Tanel Padar - vocals, guitar Raul Ukareda - guitar Argo Toomel - bass ??lo Krigul - keyboards Kristjan Kallas - drums In some occasions on drums Michael Miley from Rival Sons. http://rapidgator.net/file/0432a8ee75a62bfa8f6049ed64cd053e/TanelPadarFishLL2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/mZzDnKSKL/TanelPadarFishLL2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/59wenjzs/TanelPadarFishLL2016.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/c593fe7f1aa5e73137a3c0cbe9ab99ca/TanelPadarFish2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/haW9wp4KL/TanelPadarFish2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/qw5e3a1j/TanelPadarFish2016.rar

Artist: Taj Mahal Title: Sing A Happy Song: The Warner Bros. Recordings Year Of Release: 2001 (Rec. 1976-78) Label: Rhino Handmade / Warner [603497 774920] Genre: Blues / Folk Blues / Electric Country Blues / Modern Acoustic Blues Quality: FLAC (tracks+.cue, log, scans) Total Time: 02:36:18 Total Size: 1,05 GB Mahal's stint with Warner Bros. was not among his most artistically productive, documenting an era in which he become preoccupied with fusing his brand of blues with Caribbean rhythms and steel drums. This double-CD set contains the entirety of three 1976-1978 LPs for the label, in addition to some unreleased material. Those three LPs - 1976's Music Fuh Ya (Musica Para Tu), 1978's Evolution (The Most Recent), and the 1977 soundtrack to the little-known film Brothers - form most of what's on this compilation. There's a sameness to Mahal's easygoing blues-on-the-beach approach, and a sometimes irritating reliance on Caribbean steel drums for color, that wears down the listener's attention span in such a large dose. Artist: Sue Raney Title: Christmas Lady Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Fresh Sound Records Genre: Jazz Vocals, Xmas Quality: 320 kbps Total Time: 39:00 Total Size: 108 MB Tracklist: 1. Christmas Lady (2:57) 2. The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year (2:32) 3. A Christmas Love Song (4:31) 4. The Christmas Waltz (3:01) 5. A Marshmallow World (3:01) 6. We Need A Little Christmas (1:58) 12. The Christmas Song (3:17) 13. Silent Night (3:03) Blessed with a beautiful voice from an early age, Sue Raney has performed music ranging from swinging jazz and ballads to cabaret, middle-of-the-road pop and jingles. Her mother was a singer and a great great aunt had been in German opera. Raney started singing when she was four and a year later she first performed in public, at a party in Wichita, Kansas. Because a voice teacher could not be found for her daughter (because of her extreme youth), Raney's mother took voice lessons herself and then passed down what she learned to Sue. A professional before she was a teenager, Raney worked steadily in New Mexico when her family relocated and took several trips out to Los Angeles during a couple of summer vacations. She joined the Jack Carson radio show in 1954 in L.A. when she was barely 14. Raney then appeared on Ray Anthony's television program and became his band's main vocalist. At 18 she started working as a single. She had already recorded for Phillips and then signed with Capitol, recording several middle-of-the-road jazz-influenced pop dates for the company. In the 1960's Raney often appeared on television variety shows, she led her own group and became very active in the studios where her impressive voice helped sell products. By the early 1980's, she was also working as a voice teacher. In the 1990's Sue Raney has sung with the L.A. Voices and Supersax, the Bill Watrous big band and as a single in addition to staying active as a jazz educator and in the studios. Her main jazz recordings were a trio of albums for Discovery in the 1980's; a VSOP/Studio West CD features the singer on various live performances from the 1960's. ~ Scott Yanow http://rapidgator.net/file/3a2871d5d5a6dbcf48bbec8face0a223/SueRaneyLady2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/0TJ3dRiKL/SueRaneyLady2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/hhkhik92/SueRaneyLady2016.rar

Artist: Sue Foley, Deborah Coleman, Roxanne Potvin Title: Time Bomb Year Of Release: 2007 Label: Ruf Records Genre: Blues, Modern Electric Blues Quality: Flac (image, log, .cue) Total Time: 40:43 Total Size: 316 Mb (covers) Tracklist: 01. Time Bomb 02. Hitting On Nothing 03. So Far 04. Talking Loud 05. Strong Enough To Hold You 06. Show Me 07. Motor City 08. Get Up 09. Two Moons Gone 10. Don't Start The Car 11. In The Basement The cover's cutout silhouette of these guitar-slinging soul/blues women is a succinct visual overview of the rather ambiguous contents within. Recorded in preparation for 2007's Blues Caravan tour featuring journeywomen singer/songwriters Sue Foley and Deborah Coleman along with the comparatively fresh-faced Roxanne Potvin (whose first widely distributed set was released earlier the same year), the disc seems more like a respectable concert souvenir than an actual collaborative affair. The 11 tracks break down into three solo cuts from each parti[beeep]nt, one shared and joyous effort on the closing cover of a Chess oldie, "In the Basement," and a crackling instrumental dominated by Foley's always impressive guitar. There are many fine moments here, especially as Coleman lays into an easy funk groove on James Brown's "Talking Loud" and on Potvin's emotionally charged ballad "Strong Enough to Hold You." But other than an occasional apparently overdubbed backing vocal, each tune besides the closing one is a solo performance played with a solid if inconspicuous backing band spearheaded by producer Kevin Bowe. There's nothing wrong with that, but those looking for a mutual encounter with the three guitarists trading licks and vocal turns, in the process pushing each other to new heights, will be disappointed. Foley radiates confidence especially on the rip-snorting opening title track and "Two Moons Gone." Her trilling voice along with Coleman's huskier approach and Potvin's drawling croon would likely sound great, or at least interesting, harmonizing together. But except for the terrific closing "In the Basement," where it sounds like the threesome are having a blast, listeners don't get to experience that relationship, since the format seemingly does not allow the women to be in the studio concurrently. It's a bit of a missed opportunity and could be considered deceptive marketing, too. That doesn't make this a bad recording; on the contrary, it's filled with solid playing and singing, and excellent songs that display each woman's individual strengths. But it doesn't fulfill the enticing possibilities inferred by the joint partnership and the album's explosive title. http://rapidgator.net/file/a60c71cdcb45874739457845d69884e3/sftb.rar.html http://ssh.tf/VAgz5Qb7L/sftb.rar http://uploaded.net/file/5ypw8a1x/sftb.rar

He surrounds a song with the warm presence of his voice, but within that breathy glow, he's capable of the subtlest inflection, from irony to wary satisfaction and the most wistful sense of loss. He's also able to swing masterfully at medium tempos, as he does on "I Remember You" and the relaxed rendition of "It's Impossible." While Cole can stamp his own identity on a familiar tune, he can also bring out the best in an unexpected song. "Merry-Go-Round," by the team of Bobby Scott and Herb Martin, stands out here, as does a medley of lesser-known songs recorded by Cole's brother Nat, "I Realize Now" and "I Miss You So." The settings are always apt, whether it's Cole's own piano and rhythm section contributing to the intimacy of "Forgive My Heart" and the ebullient swing of Cole Porter's "You're Sensational," or Cole's ceding the piano chair to Cedar Walton, adding a horn section, and sharing several songs with distinguished soloists. Trombonist Steve Davis adds a crisp solo to "Watching You, Watching Me," a Bill Withers song that readily adapts itself to the light-bop groove, and tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander complements Cole's voice with some thoughtful fills on "It's Impossible." Artist: Stevie Tombstone Title: I Wish I Was Back In Vegas Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Rancho Verde Music Genre: Country/Folk/Blues Quality: MP3 320 Kbps Total Time: 40:49 Total Size: 103 MB Tracklist: 1. I Wish I Was Back In Vegas (3:44) 2. Carolina (2:31) 3. Slow Drunken Waltz (2:15) 4. Best Of Worst Intentions (2:39) 5. I'd Lose It All (3:05) 6. Troubadour Blues (3:42) 7. Ten Lonely Years (2:16) 8. Telephone Wire (3:05) After a chance meeting with Roy Acuff, Stevie (then, a young man) was certain he would always be a musician. Georgia born descendant of the legendary fiddler Clayton McMichen,Stevie learned the ropes playing country, gospel, and blues. His early twenties he immersed himself in the world of rock and the underground music scene of the 80s in Atlanta but never lost the twang of his childhood. Almost three decades later, he has become an accomplished performer and songwriter. Stevie has now released five solo albums and several music videos, besides his published works with his 1980s swamp rockabilly band, The Tombstones. In his early days, Stevie penned the college radio anthem and regional hit "Nobody", which was later recorded by rock icon, Stiv Bators. After separating with The Tombstones in the 1990s, he toured as the supporting act for Jason & the Scorchers in Europe, which opened the door for his solo career. Taking a more serious approach to songwriting, he then began to write with as many accomplished song-writers as he could find in every realm of the music world, from street poets to music row regulars. His debut full length release 730 AM received great reviews and airplay besides offering tracks that peaked on the Satellite Radio charts. After several comps and EPs his 2011 Release Greenwood reintroduced Stevie to the Americana and folk listeners with his autobiographical tale about his journey to Greenwood with Bluesman Johnny Shines and Ga Satellites Guitarist Rick Richards and the trios attempt to mark the grave of then unhonored Robert Johnson. Stevie's band mates and co conspirators , over the years, have been a veritable whos who of underground and nationally recognized players, featuring members of Circus of Power, Wilco, the Georgia Satellites, Jason & The Scorchers,Bad Livers,The Hickoids and Tex and the Horseheads. Priding himself in his ability to cross genres, he has also had the honor of sharing the bill with the likes of Leon Russell, the Stray Cats, Greg Allman, Willie Nelson, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Bush & the Ramones, just to name a few. Stevie is currently producing and writing for other artists. Performing over 250 nights a year in every sort of venue Stevie makes his home in Austin Texas . http://rapidgator.net/file/afee42e47b8a69f9bc1cc89746f5ca1f/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/plLPA3WKL/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/7k1gk6j2/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar
