The owner achieved to install a very high-tech mechanism in the piano designed by Wayne Stahnke that operates the piano keys and pedals with more than 1.000 steps accuracy and is controlled by a computer system. This allowed me to capture each velocity layer of this perfect instrument with unequalled precision. By utilizing this new technology to optimize the performance of the action, we have created a product which leaves the pianist in total control of dynamic response, timbre and touch. It includes ALL samples from the Shreddage 1 Complete library, reprogrammed and reformatted to be better than ever. With this expansion, you can enjoy the biting, aggressive tone of the original Shreddage library with new features like custom articulation mapping, built-in FX, customizable legato, hammer-on scripting, quad-tracking, and much more. Compared to the original S1 Kontakt version, Shreddage Classic is easier to use, and far more powerful. Shreddage 2 vs. Classic The tone of Shreddage Classic, featuring a 6-string SG Standard, is more thin and aggressive than that of Shreddage II, which used a darker and more full 7-string. This makes it ideal for harsh and brutal rhythm riffs. The range of Shreddage Classic (G3-B6) does not extend as far as Shreddage II (G3-E8). Instead, it focuses on a rich and deeply-sampled lower octaves, ideal for RHYTHM playing. Shreddage Classic uses less memory & CPU, as it does not have a string/fretting engine. Instead, there is one set of samples per note, as opposed to each note on each string/fret being sampled. Shreddage Classic does not have the staccato articulation or as many vibrato types, but DOES feature natural harmonics with no vibrato. The history of the oud extends back to antiquity, having been referenced in writings over 1,000 years old. The instrument we sampled is a custom-made, double soundboard Turkish oud by Faruk Turunz. The instrument was performed by Stelios Varveris and recorded with pristine Neumann & AKG mics through an SSL console in a treated studio room. In order to fulfil all the demands of the script and the director, we collected, recorded and produced tons of sounds, textures and noises, mixed them up and put them into the Gecko framework. The result is the most versatile and complex Gecko weve created so far. The Gecko Kasimir und Karoline provides a great range of sounds: Atmospherique stringpads, weird atmospheres such as found in Eerie Texture Gecko, bright and complex textures as well as special FX sounds such as "Kinderplatz", "Oktoberfest" and "Lost Bells" and many more.
