The group is extremely tight instrumentally, working at a very fast funky clip that's kind of similar to work by Bohannon or Sound Experience, both of whom shared Exit 9's pre-disco approach to dancefloor grooves. Most numbers have vocals, and instrumentation includes lots of nice guitar work that keeps a rawer edge on the tracks!
