The Student Loan encompasses the most attractive things about 'what being a band is' to my way of thinking. Besides each member being a strong vocalist and instrumentalist in their own right, this is a group of good friends with complimentary strengths who tirelessly exude their love for performing while mining for fresh sounds every time they play (which they've been doing for nearly a decade now). They know how to support each other and you can hear it, a good feeling that spreads like wildfire." http://rapidgator.net/file/25dcae582eb4521b21cbe8292aaba6c7/tslmt.rar.html http://ssh.tf/U1loFIjIL/tslmt.rar http://uploaded.net/file/yzpv3pdo/tslmt.rar

You and I Together for years writing and playing original music on Vashon Island and in the Seattle, WA area, the FieldHands are a rock band. I think our music blends some of the best traits of rock, alternative country and the americana vibe present in music from artists like Wilco, Son Volt, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, Iris Dement, JJ Cale and others. Multiple harmonies, driving guitar lines and soaring lead instrumentals punctuate good stories and strong melodies. The FieldHands incorporate local flavor and imagery in their lyrics. We write songs about love, friendship, journeys, the road beneath our feet and the water that surrounds us. http://rapidgator.net/file/56370483cfe2624fb3ddca70b9962e45/tfls.rar.html http://ssh.tf/Vsx65Yc9L/tfls.rar http://uploaded.net/file/0ebp00se/tfls.rar

Four Thieves Gone 16:09 In the great tradition of American roots rock bands such as The Band, Wilco, Bruce Springsteen, Son Volt, and The Drive by Truckers, East Nashville's Mayday Malone has built their sound on a foundation of the working-class American experience and musical camaraderie. Mayday Malone initially came to life as a side project for East Nashville music scene veterans Chris Moynihan, Daryl Evans, John Miner, and Scott Martin, yet within a short time the organic personal and musical chemistry between the band members began to shape Mayday Malone into a sum far greater than its parts. The ethos of Mayday Malone is simple - play real instruments, perform engaging, well-crafted songs about real people, and let the unique personalities, vocals, and playing styles of each band member speak for themselves. Moynihan spins witty narratives, detailing peculiar but familiar characters and the everyday stories of their existence in the American folk tradition; however, Moynihan's wailing harmonica figures, Miner's soulful lead guitar, Martin's melodic bass, and Evans' driving, expressive drums provide a unique backdrop, layered with three-part harmony vocals, that puts Mayday Malone's unique twist on the traditional folk narrative. The band is quickly garnering strong buzz for their engaging, authentic, and entertaining live performances - no set list is ever the same twice, and song performances are open to many different interpretations. Mayday Malone's independently-produced EP, The Helmwood Sessions Volume 1, was released in 2012 and remains a brisk seller at their live appearances. The band released their full-length debut album, Weathered, with Dave Coleman producing in June 2014. http://rapidgator.net/file/43380b91ebd293c40d7db20f85c5a874/tabftg.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ZsOIBVjKL/tabftg.rar http://uploaded.net/file/itnr2r5l/tabftg.rar

  8. Nothing Left to Say 2. Same Old Song 3. New King in Town 4. Too Far Gone 5. All Fall Down 6. Fish Out of Water 7. Lifeline 8. Don't Leave It Too Late 9. Brand New Old Fashioned Blues 10. Who's Left to Save the Working Man 11. Not Your Enemy Ten Gallon Bratz hail from Greenock in the west of Scotland and began with Mark Dunsmore and Barrie Kelly back in the early nineties. After amassing a substantial and ever-growing body of work they decided to form a band to showcase the songs. Ten Gallon Bratz exists in two forms, a three-piece acoustic band and a full blown five-piece band. In addition to their latest release "Tales From The Long Shadows", the band has produced a number of demo CDs. Their thirteen track acoustic CD entitled "GHOST STORIES" (yes, well before Coldplay!) has been a great success and their second studio recorded album, "The Wilderness" demonstrating that the guys were in this for the long haul. The Wilderness album, which was partly recorded at Riverside studios by Duncan Cameron who has also worked with the like of Travis and Trash Can Sinatras, is a mixture of acoustic and full band tracks and, s with Ghost Stories, is available to download here. However, their latest release, "Tales From The Long Shadows" is the bands jewel in the crown and demonstrates the songwriting prowess that really is the foundation of Ten Gallon Bratz. This album was recorded by world renowned producer Mark Freegard ( Del Amitri; Eddie Reader (to name but a few)) in his intimate but inimitable Kyoti Studio in Glasgow, Scotland. In their career the guys have provided support slots for renowned artists such as legendary musician Albert Lee, as well as Colin Hay (Men At Work) Glen Tilbrook (Squeeze) Jan Akkerman (Focus), Eleanor McEvoy and JJ Gilmour (Silencers). They have also performed n a number of occasions at Glasgow's famous Celtic Connections festival. Ten Gallon Bratz music is broadly based in the Americana tradition where glorious three part harmonies are seamlessly combined with infectious hooks and intelligent lyrics. The band in general continues to increase its fan base due to a growing reputation for memorable songs combined with entertaining live shows. http://rapidgator.net/file/f6a59402e8c5501bf7c38778ea619aa2/tgbtftls.rar.html http://ssh.tf/EkpRxoz9L/tgbtftls.rar http://uploaded.net/file/02mzdd3t/tgbtftls.rar
  9. Artist: Taj Mahal Title: Sing A Happy Song: The Warner Bros. Recordings Year Of Release: 2001 (Rec. 1976-78) Label: Rhino Handmade / Warner [603497 774920] Genre: Blues / Folk Blues / Electric Country Blues / Modern Acoustic Blues Quality: FLAC (tracks+.cue, log, scans) Total Time: 02:36:18 Total Size: 1,05 GB Mahal's stint with Warner Bros. was not among his most artistically productive, documenting an era in which he become preoccupied with fusing his brand of blues with Caribbean rhythms and steel drums. This double-CD set contains the entirety of three 1976-1978 LPs for the label, in addition to some unreleased material. Those three LPs - 1976's Music Fuh Ya (Musica Para Tu), 1978's Evolution (The Most Recent), and the 1977 soundtrack to the little-known film Brothers - form most of what's on this compilation. There's a sameness to Mahal's easygoing blues-on-the-beach approach, and a sometimes irritating reliance on Caribbean steel drums for color, that wears down the listener's attention span in such a large dose. Telephone Wire (3:05) After a chance meeting with Roy Acuff, Stevie (then, a young man) was certain he would always be a musician. Georgia born descendant of the legendary fiddler Clayton McMichen,Stevie learned the ropes playing country, gospel, and blues. His early twenties he immersed himself in the world of rock and the underground music scene of the 80s in Atlanta but never lost the twang of his childhood. Almost three decades later, he has become an accomplished performer and songwriter. Stevie has now released five solo albums and several music videos, besides his published works with his 1980s swamp rockabilly band, The Tombstones. In his early days, Stevie penned the college radio anthem and regional hit "Nobody", which was later recorded by rock icon, Stiv Bators. After separating with The Tombstones in the 1990s, he toured as the supporting act for Jason & the Scorchers in Europe, which opened the door for his solo career. Taking a more serious approach to songwriting, he then began to write with as many accomplished song-writers as he could find in every realm of the music world, from street poets to music row regulars. His debut full length release 730 AM received great reviews and airplay besides offering tracks that peaked on the Satellite Radio charts. After several comps and EPs his 2011 Release Greenwood reintroduced Stevie to the Americana and folk listeners with his autobiographical tale about his journey to Greenwood with Bluesman Johnny Shines and Ga Satellites Guitarist Rick Richards and the trios attempt to mark the grave of then unhonored Robert Johnson. Stevie's band mates and co conspirators , over the years, have been a veritable whos who of underground and nationally recognized players, featuring members of Circus of Power, Wilco, the Georgia Satellites, Jason & The Scorchers,Bad Livers,The Hickoids and Tex and the Horseheads. Priding himself in his ability to cross genres, he has also had the honor of sharing the bill with the likes of Leon Russell, the Stray Cats, Greg Allman, Willie Nelson, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Bush & the Ramones, just to name a few. Stevie is currently producing and writing for other artists. Performing over 250 nights a year in every sort of venue Stevie makes his home in Austin Texas . http://rapidgator.net/file/afee42e47b8a69f9bc1cc89746f5ca1f/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/plLPA3WKL/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/7k1gk6j2/Stevie_Tombstone_-_I_Wish_I_Was_Back_In_Vegas_2016.rar

Girl Like You 12. Augustine's Dream One of country music's most versatile performers, Steve Wariner grew up in suburban Indianapolis, interested in the Beatles on the radio as well as Chet Atkins and George Jones, the artists his father listened to most frequently. He started playing music in his dad's band, and by his high school years, he was playing local clubs. At age 17, he caught the ear of Dottie West, who persuaded him to join her band, and in that position he ended up playing bass on her classic 1973 single "Country Sunshine." He moved on to work as a sideman for Bob Luman and signed a singles deal with RCA Records in 1976. His career developed slowly, and in the beginning, the low-tuned guitars and wide range of his singles brought frequent comparisons to the early Glen Campbell hits. His first really successful single was "Your Memory," which peaked in the country Top Ten in early 1981, followed by "By Now" and "All Roads Lead to You," which topped the country charts in December. RCA released another couple of singles before finally issuing his debut album, Steve Wariner, in the fall of 1982. He returned to the country Top Ten in 1983 with "Midnight Fire," which became the title track of his second album, and "Lonely Women Make Good Lovers." Wariner's career really took off when he left RCA for MCA in late 1984. His first single for the new label, "What I Didn't Do," made the country Top Five in early 1985, setting off a string of 18 consecutive Top Ten hits that included the chart-toppers "Some Fools Never Learn," "You Can Dream of Me," "Life's Highway," "Small Town Girl," "The Weekend," "Lynda," "Where Did I Go Wrong," and "I Got Dreams" (the last two Wariner compositions). This run took him into 1990, when he switched to Arista Records. He had considerable initial success on the new label, with his first Arista album, I Am Ready, going platinum (none of his previous albums had even gone gold) and his first three Arista singles making the Top Ten. And he shared a 1991 Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Collaboration with Ricky Skaggs and Vince Gill for "Restless," a track on Mark O'Connor's album The New Nashville Cats. Wariner scored a country Top Ten hit with "If I Didn't Love You" in the summer of 1993, but his record sales were declining. His 1996 instrumental album No More Mr. Nice Guy, his first release in three years, did not chart, but that year he joined the Grand Ole Opry. In 1997, he sang with Anita Cochran on "What If I Said," and the single topped the country charts in early 1998, just after Garth Brooks' recording of Wariner's composition "Longneck Bottle" had gone to number one. This twin success reinvigorated his career. He signed to Capitol Records, Brooks' label, and released "Holes in the Floor of Heaven," which made the country Top Five, winning the Country Music Association's awards for Song of the Year and Single of the Year. Burnin' the Roadhouse Down, his debut album for Capitol, reached the country Top Ten, went gold, and crossed over to the Top 50 of the pop charts. He followed it with 1999's Two Teardrops, which also went gold; the same year, he shared his second Grammy for Best Country Instrumental for the Asleep at the Wheel track "Bob's Breakdown." His third Capitol album, Faith in You, was released in May 2000. http://rapidgator.net/file/6bf0476cc027ef5db0f20d55f1464d05/-9428SWA16.rar.html http://ssh.tf/8ojzsNQCF/-9428SWA16.rar http://uploaded.net/file/cait844j/-9428SWA16.rar

Love Is All, That's All This album features the great legendary Donavan and Moby Grape guitarist Jerry Miller, and I'm really enjoying this blend. Great rock and country album, I highly recommend to anyone who likes this genre. - Greg Coleman Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, I started playing the piano at age 8, the guitar at age 9, and drums at age 10. I sang my first original song at my 6th grade talent show, but lost to a one-legged ballet dancer! I took that defeat in stride and tenaciously kept chasing the muse. After growing my hair long in high school, I immersed myself in the 1950's beat poets like Kerouac and Ginsberg, as well as the 1960's archetypes like Dylan, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Byrds, the Doors, and the Kinks. I then headed off to college on a music scholarship and graduated with a degree in percussion performance. I started doing session work as a drummer in the Indianapolis area, all the while continuing to hone the craft of songwriting. I joined John Mellencamp's band in 1996 as a drummer and have enjoyed that position ever since. I am a father to three wonderful daughters, Emily, Taylor and Abigail. I have now put together a full blast rock combo to play the songs on the albums, which I wrote and produced. My hope for the future - "Dane Clark songs in every living room!" http://rapidgator.net/file/0b242305af605b951321b53f605fa0bc/dcna.rar.html http://ssh.tf/SeVV6InVL/dcna.rar http://uploaded.net/file/dfdg0vlz/dcna.rar

This is where she met The Carbone Band from Nantes, France. They had two concerts together that week. The music was a collision of Amy's free "California girl" sound and the French's deep passion and intensity. Their personalities and musicality immediately clicked. Two days after her return to California, Amy decided she was going back to France. She planned a four-month tour across the United States, the U.K. and France, where she reunited with The Carbone Band. They played several concerts and the music started to grow and became intensely passionate, grounded rock that sways as if floating on the breeze. In 2013, Amy returned again and spent three months with The Carbone Band. They recorded an album and parti[beeep]ted in an artist in residence at La Maison des Arts. Her fifth album, Restless, will release in summer of 2014. Restless features the distinctive sound of The Carbone Band and also students and associates of La Maison des Arts in the form of a whole string ensemble, harps, vibraphone, clarinet, and flute. The Carbone Band is comprised of Philippe Crochet on guitar, Josselin Sebille on bass and Mourad A??t Abdelmalek on the drums. With a stark and honest intensity, Amy Obenski's rich, crystalline voice cuts through the noise of every day life. She's a California native. Raised in San Diego and now based in San Francisco, the sound of the far west is unmistakably infused into her words and sound. She's toured the West Coast for ten years and even got her song "Carousel" into the Hollywood scene when it was placed on the TV Show, Grey's Anatomy. http://rapidgator.net/file/a71048ad7f713c094063071c1ab8a5c5/aoatcbr.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ZR2nK9ZNL/aoatcbr.rar http://uploaded.net/file/9qhqgatv/aoatcbr.rar

I Really Want You To Know (2:27) Skeeter Davis never received much critical attention, but in the '50s and '60s, she recorded some of the most accessible crossover country music, occasionally skirting rock & roll. Born Mary Penick, Davis took her last name after forming a duo with Betty Jack Davis, the Davis Sisters. Their 1953 single "I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know" was a big country hit; its B-side, the remarkable "Rock-a-Bye Boogie," foreshadowed rockabilly. That same year, however, the duo's career was cut short by a tragic car accident in which Betty Jack was killed and Skeeter was severely injured. Skeeter did attempt to revive the Davis Sisters with Betty Jack's sister but was soon working as a solo artist. In the early '60s, Davis followed the heels of Brenda Lee and Patsy Cline to become one of the first big-selling female country crossover acts, although her pop success was pretty short-lived. The weepy ballad "The End of the World," though, was a massive hit, reaching number two in 1963. "I Can't Stay Mad at You," a Top Ten hit the same year, was downright rock & roll; penned by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, it sounded like (and was) an authentic Brill Building girl group-styled classic. Goffin and King also wrote another successful girl group knockoff for her, "Let Me Get Close to You," although such efforts were the exception rather than the rule. Usually she sang sentimental, country-oriented tunes with enough pop hooks to catch the ears of a wider audience, such as "I Will." Davis concentrated on the country market after the early '60s, although she never seemed too comfortable limiting herself to the Nashville crowd. She recorded a Buddy Holly tribute album in 1967, when Holly wasn't a hot ticket with either the country or the rock audience. But she certainly didn't reject country conventions either: She performed on the Grand Ole Opry and recorded duets with Bobby Bare, Porter Wagoner, and George Hamilton IV. In the 1980s, she had a mild comeback with the rock crowd after recording an album with NRBQ; she also married NRBQ's bass player, Joey Spampinato. Davis passed away September 19, 2004 after a long struggle with cancer. http://rapidgator.net/file/ae0340c120691ae7e3b89d3f368a1166/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._1_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/seT4X1Y7L/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._1_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/l97zrzmj/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._1_2016.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/d76fae7161edf606444cb0a904ad5bdd/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._2_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/3SPaM7m7L/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._2_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/3iqinevy/Skeeter_Davis_-_The_Complete_RCA_Singles_Vol._2_2016.rar

Squatterville Revisited When I learned that the town I live in was called Squatterville in the post-gold rush, pre-Civil War times, it stirred up something inside that I thought might be artistically useful. A little historical research didn't really lead anywhere except for the fact that much of the settlement was made up of gold miners down from the Sierras. But just that name - Squatterville. It stuck. And that was all it took. It's not a specific time or place on this record but something in the air. A lively darkness. A little bit scary and exhilarating at the same time. Populated by lost souls searching for something high and low. The poets, the miner, the wanderer, the blind preacher, the gypsy fortune tellers, the gunslinger, the ghost... This is Squatterville. http://rapidgator.net/file/1cc6fd3d09f08522fb1ba00be8b4525b/dbse.rar.html http://ssh.tf/TuhETn3VL/dbse.rar http://uploaded.net/file/77p8bjnn/dbse.rar

Sweet Lord (5:03) Born in Fort Worth and raised in the ranch country of West Texas, Seth James has fashioned his own brand of music from a list of influences as diverse as it is long. Stemming from a tall family tree of musicians, Seth's grandfather was a honky tonk piano player from the Texas clubs of the 40's and 50's, while his father carried his gold sparkle Slingerland drums all over the great Lone Star State. There is no doubt the romantic stories of the road played a pivotal role in Seth's decision to make a career out of his passion. Seth's father gave him his first guitar, a Gibson Southern Jumbo, along with a short lesson on how to play "Sultans Of Swing" by Dire Straits. After that day, Seth taught himself how to play by listening to Lightnin' Hopkins, Freddie King, and Credence Clearwater Revival. In 1996 Seth got his hands on his first Fender Stratocaster and discovered the raw power of the electric guitar. Seth's music has carried him from Acuna, Mexico to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and everywhere in between. He has shared the stage with a various array of artist such as Percy Sledge, Little Feat, Delbert McClinton, and Billy Joe Shaver.Seth released three albums as a solo artist including 2009's critically acclaimed That Kind of Man before forming The Departed with long time friend, Cody Canada in 2010. After three years and two albums, Seth decided step down as a band member of The Departed and return to his primary passion of playing the blues. With a fresh set of tunes and a great group of musicians, James continues to play for sold out rooms with his band and his beautiful wife, Jessica Murray Walker. http://rapidgator.net/file/9b8727e9eb29b51649b4f666ec36f812/Seth_James___Jessica_Murray_-_A_Million_Miles_Of_Love_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/zrltkGChL/Seth_James___Jessica_Murray_-_A_Million_Miles_Of_Love_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/3q1famql/Seth_James___Jessica_Murray_-_A_Million_Miles_Of_Love_2016.rar

  19. Artist: Saucytown Title: The First Album Year Of Release: 2014 Label: Saucytown Genre: Roots Rock, Americana Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 41:38 Total Size: 107 Mb Tracklist: 1. In My Company 2. Where Do You Go? 3. What It Is 4. Don't Disagree 5. Slow Your Roll 6. It Was Too Soon 7. Down At the Station 8. Mama Song 9. Sheila 10. You Don't Speak for Me 11. In My Company (Reprise) This album is a collection of songs written by the multi-instrumental lead vocalist, Jameson Wandling, and exponentially enhanced by guitarist and harmony singer, Brandon Edwards, bassist and harmony singer, Nicholas Von Pless, and drummer, Zach Podell-Eberhardt, with the engineering assistance of Ben Spees (College of Wizardry). With this first album, Saucytown attempts to combine all of the musical textures one might find at a live show into a condensed and tastefully arranged package. Accustomed to playing long sets that involve several instrument switches, Saucytown's first full-length album does not disregard today's technology and the ability to layer multiple instruments, beyond the limits of a 4-piece set-up, to create a much richer, fuller sound. Though Saucytown recorded this album independently, expect professional quality songwriting, musical performance, and audio engineering. http://rapidgator.net/file/00972647cf190eac6503f389dc42409f/stfa.rar.html http://ssh.tf/rajjVpsKL/stfa.rar http://uploaded.net/file/nfgwntmd/stfa.rar

The first was in 2002 and the second was in 2004, so I'm glad to be back! For biographical information about me you could check out the first one here at CD Baby which was Way Over Yonder under Ron Wheeler by search or at www.cdbaby.com/cd/wheeler or the second one here called All Over The Map under Ronnie Jay Wheeler with the URL www.cdbaby.com/wheeler2 or my website www.ronniejaywheelermusic.com. Most recently I've been running my record store, Alley Records, in Oklahoma City and playing music out and about with my friend and lead guitar player Jack Ardis. While out in Santa Fe during Ethnographic weekend this past summer, a friend of mine, Freddy Lopez, who plays harmonica, was showing me a few record stores I hadn't been aware of. When that was over, he mentioned there was something else he wanted to show me. . .he took me out to west Santa Fe on a hill top to see a recording studio called Frogville. I was blown away by what I saw. A great place with an inviting ambiance to which I was greatly attracted. Long story short, I had intuition, the stars were aligned for this Moon Child, the Holy Spirit was affirmative to it, numbers were speaking to me, I could finally afford to do another self-released CD, and Bill Palmer the engineer and his partner JC Treadwell reassured me we could do it fast and simple and my way! We came back out October 7-11 and 15th and 16 and it was done. It was mostly a magical, mystical, and spiritual time with wonderful, happy people helping me. I think it's the best record I've made. Hope you enjoy the CD, too! http://rapidgator.net/file/616076850c91e6659cc74d450ffb25b2/rjwrdh.rar.html http://ssh.tf/eFfPaFhhL/rjwrdh.rar http://uploaded.net/file/1jtpz3cp/rjwrdh.rar
  21. Mercy (4:43) 2. Fishy Love (2:38) 3. We Are All The Same (4:39) 4. Can't Think Of No Other Man (4:28) 5. My Little Moses (4:12) 6. Light Up The Dark (4:30) 7. Last Thing On Your List (4:48) 8. Lone Wolf (4:44) 9. No Trouble At All (5:09) 10. Same Language (3:41) If you love good stories, hypnotizing sounds, and funky grooves, turn on and dig in to the rootsy, soulful music release by singer/songwriter, Camille Harrison. This 10 song combination of genres set in a stellar production with exceptional musicianship provides the perfect backdrop for Camille's voice to soar. telling stories, transcending time, reaching around the globe. to share the messages we all have in common "When it Comes to Love." Camille has a powerful voice with an impressive range that effortlessly slides into a tender falsetto, but she never flaunts it. Instead she stays true to the story, and sings with tasteful subtle dynamics. Case in point is the opening track "Mercy," which starts off easy over a slinky groove, then explodes into a huge chorus with mercurial vocals and harmonies. From tender romantic ballads "Can't Think of No Other Man," to a gambler on-the-run "Last Thing On Your List," to an uplifting groove-anthem on the timely topic of people setting aside their differences to create a better world "We Are All the Same," every song is a compelling story with a fresh melody and finely crafted lyrics, themes that most will find something they can relate to when it comes to love. Camille also understands the magic of approaching a song from an unexpected point of view, as in the track "My Little Moses." It tells the poignant story of Moses from the perspective of a young mother who places her son for adoption so that he has the chance for a better life. From the haunting beauty of "Lone Wolf" with its' masterful acoustic guitar work and ethereal harmonics, to the spiritual powerhouse-anthem "Same Language" with its' Native American chant, this music is a strong piece of work. "I had written and recorded some of the songs on piano," she says, "we decided to try taking the record production in an acoustic guitar driven direction, and we liked it." It's refreshing in its' refusal to conform, brave in its' honesty and emotion, and exceptional in its' execution. You'll find yourself listening time and again for each nuance whether it's the songs, the stories, the vocals, the musicians. So enJOY everything. After traveling a zig-zagging open road that took him across the country; first to the desert southwest, then to Colorado as a ski bum, then on to NYC for a stint in a touring band and an engineering position at a commercial recording studio, Roger chose a more traditional path and spent twenty years building and running a successful mannequin/display business. Working with some of the most creative designers in the world, he traveled the globe designing and producing displays for a long list of luxury retailers like Calvin Klein, The Gap and Macy's. Along the way he met and married the love of his life. It was only after the loss of his father and mother in 2004 and 2006 respectively, and the birth of his daughter in 2006, that he was struck by the realization that his passion and talent for writing, performing and recording songs had not gone away. nor had his muse. "It had been locked away in a forgotten place, like a keepsake you put into the back of a cabinet only to discover it years later looking as good as new. like a shiny old object." Friedman says. Nine years ago he tapped into that passion once again, writing and performing in and around Brooklyn and discovering something precious that had been misplaced, but was now found and cherished more than ever... http://rapidgator.net/file/ae734c4e019548f942973637fcbf5753/rsftws.rar.html http://ssh.tf/1zgO4EphL/rsftws.rar http://uploaded.net/file/ldvo46fu/rsftws.rar
  24. Artist: Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash Title: Walk Alone Year Of Release: 2001 Label: Texacali Records Genre: Country, Country Rock, Americana Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 50:37 Total Size: 125 Mb Tracklist: 1. Crying over you 13. Nowhere Town 14. Spanish Eyes Mark Stuart -- sounding here like a younger Waylon Jennings -- has the kind of dusky, throaty growl perfectly suited for singing this kind of Bakersfield honky tonk country-rock. As a songwriter, however, he's meandering down that same wagon wheel-worn path that his outlaw forebears have already tread down to the ground 'til there's nothing left but dust-filled ruts. While there's certainly nothing wrong for replicating the Telecaster-and-pedal steel twang of a much loved subgenre (Dwight Yoakam and Chris Isaak, on occasion, have made attempts to keep it alive among younger listeners), there's nothing original being added here to it either. Stuart's lyrics cover much the same imagery and topical narrative; it must be a requirement for honky tonkers to write about trains, for instance, even though it's doubtful that many bands use them today as means of transportation. The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash's cover of Merle Haggard's "Silver Wings" has a nice loping feel, and one of Stuart's own, "Texas Sun," rolls along like a semi with rambling guitars and a kicking drumbeat, but this has all been heard before. While he certainly can turn a phrase about "putting the hammer down" on the road ("Interstate Cannonball") or thinking about a woman he left behind but is still on his mind ("Memphis Woman"), the Bastards' next outing should find a way to say what hasn't been said before. http://rapidgator.net/file/4aba137316fceef5d76be59ab41d3dd1/bsojcwa.rar.html http://ssh.tf/qrn2aIjoL/bsojcwa.rar http://uploaded.net/file/r8olcyuz/bsojcwa.rar
  25. Artist: Bastard Sons Of Johnny Cash Title: New Old Story Year Of Release: 2013 Label: Randm Records Genre: Country Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 36:17 Total Size: 101 Mb Tracklist: 1. Highway Bound 2. Well Worn Heart 3. No Honky-Tonks 4. Poor Man's Son 5. Ain't No Tellin' 6. Leave A Light On 7. Into The Blue 8. El Troubadour 9. New Old Story 10. Bounds Of Your Heart The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, who came together in 1995, play modern country with an "outlaw" edginess, with some of the attitude and some of the swagger of artists we've come to expect from the man in black himself, Johnny Cash, or from Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, and Kris Kristofferson, to name a few others. Mark Stuart and his fellow Bastard Sons - Dean Cote (guitar), Clark Stacer (bass), and Joey Galvan (drums) ( an early lineup included Buzz Campbell (lead guitar), Alex Watts (lead guitar), and Johnny D'Artenay (bass)), - had been playing in blues and rock bar bands, along the lines of Blues Traveler and the Black Crowes in their native San Diego, but it was Stuart's love of country music that led him to putting together this outfit, even though his city had no country music scene whatsoever when we started out. Like his musical heroes, Stuart didn't change Bastard Sons to fit contemporary in with country's heavily produced, pop-oriented Nashville-Branson sound. The band saw their stock soar after opening for Haggard at the Coach House, in San Juan Capistrano. They recorded their own six-song EP and hit the road, playing gigs along the way with Willie Nelson, Joe Ely, Asleep at the Wheel, Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, and the Derailers (to name a few), and received a lot of attention along the way from record label reps, including two former San Diegoans who both saw potential early on: Joe Rinaldi (A&R) and Lou Niles (VP) of Ultimatum (a record label started by the William Morris Agency), who signed the group in December of 1999. Another self-produced nine-song CD, Lasso Motel, garnered more attention (they were proclaimed one of the Top 100 Unsigned Bands in 1997 by industry rag Music Connection) and in 1998, they received an invitation to perform for over 20,000 attendees of Willie Nelson's Annual 4th of July Picnic in Luchenbach, TX, a three-decade-old institution featuring today's rebel artists of country music. In case you are wondering, this band earned Cash's permission to use his name (who reportedly went against the advice of his own organization to give his blessing). "He's been very supportive over the years, and even helped us get a show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, which really helped us get a lot of industry attention," said Stuart during one interview, "and that's just one more reason we'd really like to keep the name, and honor the man." After much recording, touring, and numerous personnel changes, Walk Alone, their full-length debut, was released in early 2001. Distance Between arrived in 2002, followed by Mile Markers in 2005. Stuart relocated to Austin, TX, and reorganized the band, eventually renaming it Mark Stuart & the Bastard Sons. At this point, the lineup consisted of Stuart (vocals, acoustic guitar), Lars Albrecht (guitar), Vance Hazen (bass, vocals), and Jim Adair (drums, vocals). Texacali Records released Bend in the Road, the first album under the group's new moniker, on September 22, 2009. http://rapidgator.net/file/b77024a0359476df9512d56fbe586136/bsojcn.rar.html http://ssh.tf/olMTzwToL/bsojcn.rar http://uploaded.net/file/9qtbsyyc/bsojcn.rar
