Free Download Understanding And Working With New Generations Published 10/2024 MP4 | Video: h264, 1920x1080 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz Language: English | Size: 2.07 GB | Duration: 1h 34m Solutions focused for Genations Z, Alpha, and younger Millennials What you'll learn Learn why new generations leave the church and other orgs.; and their core values, characteristics, needs, and perspectives; and this turning point in history. Learn what formed this generation, why they are tougher than previous gens, and their specific attitudes on issues. Learn how to work with them, mistakes to avoid, how to use effective solutions, and consider solutions. Learn about understanding people's needs, three keys to creating change, secrets to creating change, and select steps forward from your own ideas. Requirements This course requires at least a group of three, and use of the workbook. It isn't for individuals. Description How can we understand new generations? They are walking away from the church and jobs. Working with them is a mystery to older generations because they seem very different from them, and they are. But their values are similar. They have high moral values and courageously stand for them. They aren't as different as we think. The differences are in the details. They don't trust older adults or organizations because of failures they see. They are unwilling to allow problems in society to fester without addressing the causes. How do we resolve this situation? Through understanding and respect we can include them and become a better world. In this course you will learn about their differences and what has made them this way. For perspective, you will learn about previous turning points in history and gain perspective on change. Solutions focused: In a class setting of 3 or more people, you will search for solutions that fit your particular circumstances and select three ways to move forward with integrating new generations into your organization or ministering to them. This class is not available to individuals, but to groups of 3 or more. Each student must purchase the course. It requires the workbook for additional material, exercises, and discussion. A moderator or facilitator should lead the class. Please be aware that not all organizations can accept change. New generations are uniformly progressive (not liberal), and not all organizations can accept progressive attitudes. Weekly classes: I recommend doing this class on a day in each of four weeks. Allow around two hours for presentation adn discussion. The discussion is very important. Start each section with some humor. Humor brings people together. Each of the four major sections has a humorous and very relevant YouTube video link at the beginning. It isn't part of the course, but I highly recommend using it to bring people together. The links are in the workbook.Free workbook: Each registered student should download the workbook. However it can be printed by organizations for each student. The text of the entire presentation is in the workbook. I recommend making each section's contents available at the beginning of each section. The pages are easier to make notes on prior to placing them in folders. Workbook folders: I recommend purchasing three prong presentation folders with a clear front for 8.5 x 11" paper. These are much less expensive than hard shell folders with three-ring binders. Who is Dorian Scott Cole? Dorian Cole is a former pastor of a mainline denomination who currently is an author with an online publishing ministry. He develops courses for training or seminars in industry and religion, as well as nonfiction and fiction books. His publishing focus is new generations, and spirituality. He has taken 13 week technical courses, reduced them to two weeks, presented them to students who spoke little English, and gotten better results. He studied teaching through MIT, and uses reinforcement techniques from psychology. With formal education and experience in several fields, including religion, technology, psychology, management, and movie production, he is cross-disciplinary in approach. He likes variety, creativity, and helping people develop. In course development, organizational settings, and writing, he uses social psychology to understand people, organizational problems, and helps them bring change. Attitude change is often essential. As a peacemaker, he tries to bring different parties together to work together to heal or resolve organizational and societal problems. He is ecumenical and works with other denominations in public efforts such as the Catholic Engaged Encounter, courses on understanding new generations, and is accepting of other religions. He has been happily married to his wife for so long he doesn't need to count the years, even though she says he does, and they boast three adult children and their grandchildren and many pets. Overview Section 1: Introduction Lecture 1 Introduction Lecture 2 Why they don't go to church or hire into businesses Lecture 3 Perspective and resolving this turning point Lecture 4 New generation 's values, needs, and perspectives Lecture 5 Characteristics of great importance Lecture 6 Pragmatic about building their own future Section 2: Perplexing, frustrating, vulnerable, toughened up Lecture 7 Why they don't go to church or join businesses Lecture 8 Are we adaptable? Lecture 9 Drill down on specific issues Section 3: Exploring Solutions Lecture 10 Begin to explore solutions; first by reviewing what you have learned so far. Lecture 11 Meet people where they are Lecture 12 What drives up church attendance? Lecture 13 Meet them as Jesus did Lecture 14 Spiritual Needs Section 4: Selecting and Instituting solutions Lecture 15 Finding and implementing solutions that work Religious, business, and other organization leaders who are mystified about how to work effectively with new generations. When it is a win Queen vs Pawn. The King is far away. Win Queen vs Pawn. The King is far away. Draw Queen vs Queen. Checkmate Pawn vs Pawn. The Pawns just run to promotion Pawn vs Pawn. The Kings get involved The hardest Pawn Endgame ever Requirements: You should know how the kings, pawns and queens move It would be best if you are familiar with the material covered in Part 1 and One Pawn Only Description: This course will help you understand what to do when two pawns are left on the board. It is a logical continuation of the course I dedicated to a one-pawn endgame, as well as the Understanding Chess Endgames | Two pawns. Part 1 I checked all the books on pawn endgames that I studied myself and selected all the important positions for you.I also added some of the positions that, in my view, were missing from the books I studied.I dedicated Part 1 of the series to all the relevant positions when the two pawns are standing on the same file or the files next to one another. In other words, we did not really have any passed pawns. This course fills that gap. However, the problem with the passed pawns is that they can be promoted to a queen! :-)That is why I am starting the course with the queen endgames. Only when you know what to do with the queens you will know what to do with your pawns. You will deliver checkmates, you will survive against the queen using stalemates. You will use beautiful chess geometry (not mathematical geometry) to catch the passed pawn two moves away from your king! You will understand the hardest pawn endgame that I have ever solved. It will be a culmination of the ideas you will learn in this course. The beauty of the puzzle is that it contains only two kings and two pawns. And yet, it is filled with a lot of ideas from all the courses I dedicated to pawns. You will also get interactive access to all the positions described in the course on the free (and ad-free) website (lichess) where you will be able to analyze the positions online. This will deepen your understanding of endgames in general. Many of the principles and ideas taught in the course apply to endgames with many more pieces and pawns on the chessboard. The knowledge you will get from this course you will be able to use in any endgame you encounter!Learn and Master Pawn Endgames (Two Pawns | Part 2) with a Successful GrandmasterLearn what to do with your passed pawn and with your opponent's passed pawnStudy how to win with the queen against the pawnFind out which pawns can hold a draw against the queenAnti[beeep]te your opponent's actions to win the gameWin in queen endgames by winning the queen or giving checkmateLearn to use the principles of a square, shouldering, helping from the side, stalemate, and many othersDiscover the brilliant Reti principle which violates the rules of geometryThis course will enhance your understanding of the fascinating world of chess endgames. The course consists of 9 sections.Section 1 | Introduction: You will learn what this course is all about. There you will also find my position on the russian war against Ukraine.Section 2 | Queen wins the Queen: You will learn when the queen can win the queen. You will also learn how to take this information into account many moves ahead to secure your queen.Section 3 | Queen vs Pawn. The King is far away: You will discover when you can win with the queen against the pawn on the 2nd(7th) rank. You will learn against which pawns you cannot win with the queen.Section 4 | Queen vs Queen. Checkmate ideas: You will learn when you can checkmate the king when there are only queens on the chessboard.Section 5 | Queen vs Pawn. The King is close: You will understand when can you win against the pawn that can generally draw against the queen. Here, you will use the checkmate ideas and the stalemate ideas you have learned before.Section 6 | Pawn vs Pawn. Races. Promotion: You will find out when the pawn is far from promotion and yet it is a draw against the queen. You will learn how to successfully interfere with your opponent's plans with your king. You will deliver some beautiful checkmates on the way. Also, you will understand the solution to the hardest pawn endgame ever. It only has two pawns and yet even GMs are struggling with it!Section 7 | Pawn Races. No Obstacles: You will find out a few key ideas about the pawn races with no or little obstacles in the way.Section 8 | Rule of a Square. Reti Principle. The King is going in two directions at once: You will learn to win tempos with your king to still make it to the square of your opponent's passer. You will enjoy the fascinating Reti principle. You will discover even bigger beauty in the improved Reti position. You will also learn when the Reti idea does not work. You will learn to dance with your king. You will be able to use most of the principles discussed in this and previous courses. Finally, you will use all the knowledge you got from the pawn endgame courses to deliver a surprising checkmate to the king in the last puzzle.Section 9 | Short Conclusion: You will hear the course summary.
