Binary Music ARP Odyssey KONTAKT | 490 Mb There were three main versions of the Odyssey. The first white-faced models were manufactured from 1972, then the black and gold face from 1974. The model that we've sampled is a black and orange faced 2821 from about 1979. This has the advantage of more stable oscillators - though nothing like the stability that we take for granted in modern gear. Throughout the entire sampling process, the aim has been to be faithful to the sound at source. No filtering or effects processing has been applied within Kontakt. Where there is filter/frequency modulation, it has been created on the Odyssey and then recorded in samples long enough to retain the movement. There's also a selection of 'Multi VCF' patches, where different filter cutoff settings have been sampled and mapped to different velocities. In total, there are 101 patches, made from over 1,400 samples. Synth Magic ARP Exploration 1 KONTAKT | 1.45 Gb Synth Magic Exploration 1 comprises the raw oscillators and a collection of presets made on a real ARP Explorer 1 using the original ARP patch overlays and owners' manual patch sheets, which we then sampled. There are also a number of custom samples take from custom presets, once again made on the real machine and sampled. All easily accessible from a drop down menu for fast and easy access to the sounds. Exploration 1 has lots of greats sounds, including classic ARP leads, bass, drones, sound effects and keys and comes supplied with over 200 presets all easily tweaked or created from scratch using the custom GUI by saintjohnbaxter. Many extra features were added such as arpeggiator, effects, mono modes with note priority selection switches, midi syncable lfo's etc. The beautiful tones from the ARP explorer can now be used in your own productions to give you the classic vintage vibe from what is undoubtedly a classsic synth.
