A blend of strong vocals and crafty, intricate musicianship, bandmembers Sam Rosenberg (vocals/guitar), Daniel Pouridas (bass), and Matt Gatwood (drums) made their debut in September 2010 with the Slip Disco EP, followed a year and a half later by their first album, Red Pancake, Dark Energy. Showing more than a little pop influence, their intelligent songs often boast hooky, melodic choruses amid the angular riffs and shifting rhythms. A split 7" arrived in late 2012 and in the summer of 2013 they delivered their second LP, Bad Brother, earning plenty of critical praise.
