The sequences are long and allow you to fill out full scenes without the looping process to slow you down. Right from Disk 1, the grit of the city jumps into your face with busy sidewalks. Two tracks later there will be a different version with the added dimension of footsteps. They're real and honest, (NOT over-done and phony). You can almost tell the pedestrian is wearing a pair of Bass loafers from the clicking heels as he moves into perspective and then passes by on a track that's almost 3 minutes long. The traffic roars by, as horns honk. The sound of jackhammers and a passing police car add to the full stereo spectrum, completing the aural illusion. The camera passes into the doorway of a department store and the sound crossfades from urban noise to a shopping mall interior. Sound Ideas Digiffects Series V Vintage FX CD01-03 CD05-12 CDDA SCD-SPiRiT Team SPiRiT | 2.91 GB Vintage Sound Effects Library by Digiffects is a 12 CD real cross section of royalty free sound effects from the 1950s to the 1980s. Available as a complete CD set, a complete library download, or as individual CDs, the library contains almost 1,700 professionally recorded sound clips, originally recorded on analogue tape recorders (mostly Nagras). These sounds have been carefully selected to find items or places that would be difficult to record now. For example, it's not easy to record a horse and cart rolling through an old town - and there is nothing like the original old cars, trains and machines recorded in their actual environments.
