Free Download Understanding And Working With New Generations Published 10/2024 MP4 | Video: h264, 1920x1080 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz Language: English | Size: 2.07 GB | Duration: 1h 34m Solutions focused for Genations Z, Alpha, and younger Millennials What you'll learn Learn why new generations leave the church and other orgs.; and their core values, characteristics, needs, and perspectives; and this turning point in history. Learn what formed this generation, why they are tougher than previous gens, and their specific attitudes on issues. Learn how to work with them, mistakes to avoid, how to use effective solutions, and consider solutions. Learn about understanding people's needs, three keys to creating change, secrets to creating change, and select steps forward from your own ideas. Requirements This course requires at least a group of three, and use of the workbook. It isn't for individuals. Description How can we understand new generations? They are walking away from the church and jobs. Working with them is a mystery to older generations because they seem very different from them, and they are. But their values are similar. They have high moral values and courageously stand for them. They aren't as different as we think. The differences are in the details. They don't trust older adults or organizations because of failures they see. They are unwilling to allow problems in society to fester without addressing the causes. How do we resolve this situation? Through understanding and respect we can include them and become a better world. In this course you will learn about their differences and what has made them this way. For perspective, you will learn about previous turning points in history and gain perspective on change. Solutions focused: In a class setting of 3 or more people, you will search for solutions that fit your particular circumstances and select three ways to move forward with integrating new generations into your organization or ministering to them. This class is not available to individuals, but to groups of 3 or more. Each student must purchase the course. It requires the workbook for additional material, exercises, and discussion. A moderator or facilitator should lead the class. Please be aware that not all organizations can accept change. New generations are uniformly progressive (not liberal), and not all organizations can accept progressive attitudes. Weekly classes: I recommend doing this class on a day in each of four weeks. Allow around two hours for presentation adn discussion. The discussion is very important. Start each section with some humor. Humor brings people together. Each of the four major sections has a humorous and very relevant YouTube video link at the beginning. It isn't part of the course, but I highly recommend using it to bring people together. The links are in the workbook.Free workbook: Each registered student should download the workbook. However it can be printed by organizations for each student. The text of the entire presentation is in the workbook. I recommend making each section's contents available at the beginning of each section. The pages are easier to make notes on prior to placing them in folders. Workbook folders: I recommend purchasing three prong presentation folders with a clear front for 8.5 x 11" paper. These are much less expensive than hard shell folders with three-ring binders. Who is Dorian Scott Cole? Dorian Cole is a former pastor of a mainline denomination who currently is an author with an online publishing ministry. He develops courses for training or seminars in industry and religion, as well as nonfiction and fiction books. His publishing focus is new generations, and spirituality. He studied teaching through MIT, and uses reinforcement techniques from psychology. With formal education and experience in several fields, including religion, technology, psychology, management, and movie production, he is cross-disciplinary in approach. He likes variety, creativity, and helping people develop. In course development, organizational settings, and writing, he uses social psychology to understand people, organizational problems, and helps them bring change. Attitude change is often essential. As a peacemaker, he tries to bring different parties together to work together to heal or resolve organizational and societal problems. He is ecumenical and works with other denominations in public efforts such as the Catholic Engaged Encounter, courses on understanding new generations, and is accepting of other religions. He has been happily married to his wife for so long he doesn't need to count the years, even though she says he does, and they boast three adult children and their grandchildren and many pets.
