The ensemble was primarily led by Matt Reynolds, lead pastor of Grace Midtown, and Pat Barrett, its lead singer/songwriter. Housefires' self-titled debut album was released the year that they were formed, with their subsequent records, Housefires II and Housefires III, being released in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
