  2. Artist: Kenny Drew, Jr. & Larry Coryell Title: Duality Year Of Release: 2011 Label: Random Act Records Genre: Jazz Quality: Mp3 / 320kbps Total Time: 66:12 min Total Size: 150 MB Tracklist ---------- 01. Silver's Serenade 02. Farmer's Waltz 03. The Night Has a Thousand Eyes 04. Szabodar 05. A Silent War 06. Nostalgia in Times Square 07. Oil on Water 08. Goodbye Mr. Jones 09. Duality: Nenad's Sonata 10. Moanin' The jazz duo affords its parti[beeep]nts wonderful opportunities to stretch out creatively. Ideas, suggestions and negotiations of all musical kinds percolate back and forth. And, in the best of instances, they birth new nuggets for further development and exploration. At the same time, the duet framework can possibly limit, as competitive natures and stylistic dichotomies might overtake the mutual partnership and pose distraction. Duality, which features the marvelous talents of pianist Kenny Drew, Jr. and guitarist Larry Coryell, epitomizes the absolute best in piano-guitar duo playing. The improvisational banter, the interplay and feeding of ideas throughout this effort is pure listening joy. Drew and Coryell work so well together that interest never wanes, regardless of tempo, tune or musical genre. What emanates from the musical mind-melding of these the two superbly cooperative and inventive artists is jazz elegance, swing, and subtle, creative power. Horace Silver's "Silver's Serenade" sends the duo mission off on a neat mid-tempo foray. Whether guitar takes the melody, as Coryell's mellow playing does on this cut, or Drew's keyboard elsewhere, the result is a richness, a fullness easily giving an illusion of a larger musical unit. Both these fine players understand and brilliantly display the subtleties of accompanying a soloist. "Farmer's Waltz" lilts lightly, with Drew and Coryell stretching out and never straining. Drew's touch, as his ability to stretch an improvisational idea, is all taste, with technique never dominating musicality. Likewise, Coryell deploys masterful technical wizardry to grab an idea, run with it and share. What makes Duality so much fun is the respect that permeates it; this is no cutting contest. Drew, ever the technician, and Coryell, a true virtuoso, take snippets of ideas, and permutate and volley them back and forth. "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes" puts the duo in a fire-starter, up-tempo environment; both answer the bell, with ideas drawn from their respective, burning technical abilities. Each player contributes original compositions as well: Coryell with three; and Drew with two. There's occasional subtle humor and note play, too, with Drew quoting a comped "New York, New York" during Charles Mingus "Nostalgia in Times Square." Coryell's "Oil on Water" broods, and Drew's salute to Hank Jones, "Goodbye, Mr. Jones," swings. "Duality: Nenad's Sonata" sends up Coryell's acoustic and amplified guitars running rapid fragments and comping chords in a stellar multi-movement showcase of strum. Bobby Timmons' classic, "Moanin,'" gets a cool, swinging treatment, with both Drew and Coryell displaying marvelous, soulful statements. Duality is a prime example of first class musicianship and sublime improvisational partnership. Duo albums or that of any sized ensemble simply don't get more enjoyable than this. ~ Nicholas F.Mondello Personnel: Kenny Drew, Jr.: piano; Larry Coryell: guitar. http://rapidgator.net/file/4073404eadc90dd6e00a9aba3002a669/KennyDrewDuality.rar.html http://ssh.tf/B2977wmFd/KennyDrewDuality.rar

Alabama Rhap Corollary (4:57) 2. Mr. Miyake (5:00) 3. Dragon's Way (7:59) 4. Philly Flash (5:04) 5. Molten Grace (5:14) 6. Seven Secrets (6:43) 7. The Dip (5:08) 8. Having Second Thoughts (6:40) 9. Some Funky Stuff (5:55) 10. Mudhen Blues (5:46) 11. Zodiac (4:55) The final recording by legendary jazz fusion pioneers Larry Coryell and Alphonse Mouton in the reformed the Eleventh House in their all new album Seven Secrets which will be released on June 2nd. The late guitarist Coryell assembled founding members Randy Brecker (trumpet), long-timer John Lee (bass), the addition of son Julian (guitar) and the late Alphonse Mouzon (drums) to bring the rock and funk back to jazz again with a batch of eleven powerhouse tracks. The album is truly a group effort with Coryell relying on each member to contribute compositions to the new album (much like he did back in the 70 s). In January, he went into a studio in St. Augustine, Florida, and recorded a new Eleventh House project titled Seven Secrets (Savoy/429 Records) with charter members from 1973: Randy Brecker on trumpet and Alphonse Mouzon (1948 2016) on drums, along with John Lee (bassist on the group s 1975 album Level One and 1976 follow-up, Aspects) and Coryell s son Julian, a six-string shredder in his own right, on second guitar. The results, which will be released in June, are electrifying. Fueled by Mouzon s big-as-a-house back-beats and power-precision fills, Daddy Coryell cuts loose with sheer abandon on several cuts, like his Mr. Miyake and Mouzon s kinetic 7/4 title track. Coryell deals in audacious string-bending on the blues-rocker The Dip and the earthy Mudhen Blues, and delivers some Wes Montgomery-style octaves on the mellow Having Second Thoughts. But the real killer on Seven Secrets is Lee s Dragon s Way, a 6/8 romp that will whet the appetites of true fusion fans. Sparked by Mouzon s slamming groove and Lee s slippery, singing tones on his resounding Rob Allen fretless bass (with ebony fingerboard and nylon strings), this catchy number also showcases the young Julian s mondo chops, which are coming directly out of the Steve Vai Joe Satriani school. Papa Coryell follows those mind-blowing fusillades with something simple, lyrical, tasty and blue a typically Zen response from the guitar master. --Downbeat http://rapidgator.net/file/e3fc063fc20262065c5c9a07d7dbdf5a/LarryCoryellSecretsLL2017.rar.html http://ssh.tf/IXqApFYLd/LarryCoryellSecretsLL2017.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/deca6c8cc172e3ceec6132d1f34e4c1f/LarryCoryellSecrets2017.rar.html http://ssh.tf/cQDurE5Fd/LarryCoryellSecrets2017.rar

Mississippi Mama Larry Miller has a legendary status as a blues rocker but there is more to Larry Miller. This ninth album, more than any of his other albums, shows his singer songwriting side with an eclectic mix of blues and rock. The nine tracks were taken from 25 songs written by Larry over the last two years. Larry says This is my best album ever. I love the blues rock genre but I'm always wanting to hear something more, take it somewhere else but never losing sight of passionate playing from the heart. I really believe we've achieved it on this new CD. The other eight tracks on the album range from power blues, as in the opening track One Fine Day and blues stomping rockers like Mississippi Mama to the beautiful love song Bathsheba and the love lost ballad Failed Again . http://rapidgator.net/file/c5c5fed76b1fdeae7b63cc36d689af2a/lms.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/sCOmly1Tp/lms.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/m123r2th/lms.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://rapidgator.net/file/4824c7e92d5f89558de508607b8dde0a/lm2s.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/agdTUQzTp/lm2s.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/9m9pa2fb/lm2s.rar

Blue Your Mind ( 8:22) Much to the excitement of music aficionados worldwide, Jazz guitar icon Larry Coryell, one of the most respected and celebrated guitarists of his generation, offers a brand new album of seven original compositions titled Barefoot Man: Sanpaku. Says Larry, "I was inspired by John Lappen's suggestion that I do a recording similar to one that I did in the '70s that had a lot of energy. Using that as a template I carved out several compositions that I felt would be appropriate. The result was better than I expected; I had a great rhythm section in John Lee and Lee Pierson, and the soloists from Florida, Lynne Arriale and Dan Jordan, played on a world class level. Michael Franklin's production was hands off except for a few relevant suggestions that really helped round out the project." In addition to Coryell's signature guitar playing, this album features the talents of award-winning pianist Lynne Arriale, longtime Coryell collaborator John Lee on bass, Dan Jordan on saxophone and flute, and drummer Lee Pierson! http://rapidgator.net/file/8f8bd8339ba6b4775254fa6a3d191d09/LarryCoryellBarefootLL2016.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/DIuEiIVTp/LarryCoryellBarefootLL2016.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/08u2o7rq/LarryCoryellBarefootLL2016.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://rapidgator.net/file/ed7e29f993a388fb4f0f8b53ab22ca82/LarryCoryellBarefoot2016.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/87lpzDOTp/LarryCoryellBarefoot2016.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/s673avab/LarryCoryellBarefoot2016.rar
  13. Artist: Larry Carlton Title: With Special Quest Robben Ford - Live In Tokyo Year Of Release: 2007 Label: 335 Records Genre: Jazz / Blues / Fusion Quality: FLAC (tracks) / MP3 Total Time: 01:10:03 Total Size: 494 MB / 175 MB Tracklist: 1. That Road [07:44] 2. Burnable [11:16] 3. Cold Gold [10:25] 4. Rio Samba [10:35] 5. Derick's Blues [09:32] 6. Two Bad [08:02] 7. Talk To Your Daughter [06:19] 8. Too Much [06:06] Personnel: Larry Carlton - guitar; Robben Ford - guitar; Jeff Babko - keyboards; Toss Panos - drums; Travis Carlton - bass. With blues/jazz guitarist Robben Ford's Soul on Ten (Concord, 2009) receiving widespread attention, it's a good time to look at Live in Tokyo, a somewhat overlooked but unmistakably smokin' 2007 release from another West Coast guitar god, Larry Carlton. Carlton invited Ford to join his band for some dates in Tokyo in the fall of 2006, and it would be hard to find two more compatible yet distinctive guitarists for a set that ranges from down-and-dirty blues to burning samba and a lot in-between. The two go back over 30 years, sometimes playing with the same artists, just not on the same sessions. Both worked with singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell, and while Carlton was delivering early career-defining moments with Steely Dan, Ford was adding some signature licks to Little Feat. Ford would ultimately move in a more decidedly blues-centric direction while Carlton ventured near smooth jazz territory (but his playing always elevated it above the pack). For Live in Tokyo, both find common ground that leans closer to Ford's stylistic direction, with undeniably virtuosic playing but, as ever, taste trumping technique in a set of largely original material. Ford's hard-rocking "That Road," first heard on Jing Chi Live at Yoshi's (Tone Center, 2003) with bassist Jimmy Haslip and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, gets the set started, setting the tone for what's to come in this seven-song, one-hour set. With drummer Toss Panos and Carlton's son Travis on bass-both also members of Ford's Soul on Ten group-along with keyboardist Jeff Babko, whose Mondo Trio (Abstract Logix) was a sleeper hit of 2007), the grooves are deep. Carlton and Ford are clearly the stars of this show, receiving the lion's share of solo space, but they'd simply not sound this good without the support of their highly capable rhythm team. Carlton may have veered towards the smooth, but on his recent Bluebird albums Sapphire Blue (2004) and Fire Wire (2006), he made a welcome return to a harder-edged, blues-tinged sound that dovetails perfectly with the direction Ford has taken since Robben Ford & The Blue Line (Stretch, 1992). Both are at their absolute best on Carlton's funkified "Burnable," where their simpatico ability to combine bluesy bends with bop-inflected lines demonstrates why they've both been such in-demand session players throughout their careers. Ford sings on the title track to his own Talk To Your Daughter (., 1988), a boogieing blues written by JB Lenoir and Alex Atkins that finds both guitarists taking no prisoners and, as with Blues on Ten, his voice has never been better. Carlton's fast-paced "Rio Samba," a throwback to his early days as a leader on Mr. 335 Live in Japan (Flyover, 1979)-in addition to demonstrating the jazzier side of both players-also contrasts Carlton's denser, overdriven hollow-body Gibson Mr. 335 tone with Ford's tarter Les Paul. Good info for guitar geeks, perhaps, but for the rest of the world all that's needs be known is that Live in Tokyo represents some exciting guitar work and the kind of thrilling interaction expected from two of jazz's tastiest fusion players. -- JOHN KELMAN ~ AllAboutJazz.com http://rapidgator.net/file/14615bb3c06aaef2a160deaa90f2b717/LITO.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ZCVFiGL6P/LITO.rar http://uploaded.net/file/7uu9w7y6/LITO.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/5c6afca36a281fa326d5b7ec0e5df9f5/LITO320.rar.html http://ssh.tf/COSqvpo6P/LITO320.rar http://uploaded.net/file/tr9finya/LITO320.rar

Artist: Larry Burton Title: Hustler's Paradise Year Of Release: 2006 Label: Brambus Genre: Blues, Modern Electric Blues Quality: Flac (tracks, log, .cue) Total Time: 54:04 Total Size: 354 Mb (covers) Tracklist: 1. It's My Life 2. Dark Clouds 3. Going Back Home 4. What I'm Going Through 5. You're So Mean To Me 6. You Hurt Me So Bad 7. Hey, Hey, Hey 8. I've Got Your Body 9. If You're Leaving Me 10. I'm Moving On Larry Burton - vocal, guitar Benno Rupp - guitar, slide guitar Kurt Blislin - harmonica Tino Forlin - piano, organ Bob Stroger - bass Robert Covington - drums Recorded at Soto Sound Studio, Chicago Illinois, in January 1992 In a nutshell, Larry Burton is a terrific songwriter and a talented guitarist; he has a really cool web site; but he can hardly sing to save his life. The lesser known half of the Burton brothers -- the other one is Chicago bassist/vocalist Aron Burton -- Larry has spent much of his career as a valued sideman for Albert Collins, Albert King and Johnny Littlejohn, and he has appeared frequently on recordings by these and other notable artists. Burton stepped up front on Hustler's Paradise, his first album, and this one, recorded in Nashville on his own label, finds him again taking the vocal and guitar leads through a set of 12 original tunes and an Elmore James cover ("Coming Home"). Burton is an exceptional songwriter with the indispensable ability to paint vivid word pictures: "By the time I reached the city limits/He was already there/Before I crossed the county line/Your legs were in the air" comes from "How Could I Be Such a Fool." He can also spin you on your heels with a trenchant line like "I went to Chicago on a lark/They had turned the blues into a theme park" in an otherwise innocuous song ("Good Idea at the Time"), or put crackheads in poetic perspective: "Sun comes up, sun goes down/It doesn't matter if you're not around" ("Pipe Dream"). And on a haunting ode to the blues ("The Blues Just Stay the Same") Burton waxes: "Heartache and misfortune are seldom tame/They present themselves to you by many different names/But the blues, yes, the blues just stay the same." It is primarily as a guitarist that Larry Burton has earned his keep, and his playing leaves no mystery why he has worked steady for many years. He can rock as hard as any teen wonder (but with the taste and maturity of a man) or slow down to a heart-stopping, out-of-phase electric slide, as he does on the shimmering instrumental "Delta Sundown." The backing is adequate if nondescript, highlighted by Kurt Bislin's overamplified harp work. Overall, The Blues Just Stay the Same is a very fine effort marred only by Burton's limited vocal ability. Singing in key would help, for starters.-- Jack Oudiz http://rapidgator.net/file/83e65ca7322d8439693a9da42eb4ef79/lbhp.rar.html http://ssh.tf/qZkK5L16P/lbhp.rar http://uploaded.net/file/oi3gdkx4/lbhp.rar

All In Good Time [07:03] 2. Room 335 [07:20] 3. Smiles and Smiles To Go [04:11] 4. Hello Tomorrow [05:56] 5. High Steppin [05:54] 6. Kid Gloves [04:22] 7. RCM [05:29] 8. Red Hot Poker [04:15] 9. Terry T [06:46] Personnel: Larry Carlton - guitars; Jeff Babko - keyboards; Travis Carlton - bass; Vinnie Colaiuta - drums; Paul Cerra - saxophone. Since emerging as a ubiquitous session ace-his sweet tone and lyrical bent creating some of the 1970s' most definitive guitar solos for artists including The Crusaders, Steely Dan and Joni Mitchell-Larry Carlton has combined unerring melodic instincts and stunning harmonic knowledge into a discography as accessible as it is deep. For some, he's veered too close to the border of smooth jazz-crossing over, even-but get past the easygoing rhythms and changes, and there's far more than meets the eye. Not that any of this should matter; Carlton's always had chops to spare, but unlike many of his contemporaries from the day he's never placed style over substance. Along with Robben Ford-another guitarist accused of being "too light," and with whom Carlton collaborated on the incendiary Live in Tokyo (335 Records, 2007)-Carlton shares the title of "tastiest guitarist in jazz," and Greatest Hits Rerecorded Volume One is the perfect starting point to understand why. Revisiting some of his more popular songs, Carlton brings bassist Travis Carlton (his son) and keyboardist Jeff Babko back from Live in Tokyo, fleshing things out to a quintet with ??ber-drummer Vinnie Colaiuta and saxophonist Paul Cerra. The music ranges from the undeniably poppy "Smiles and Smiles to Go" and bluesy "High Steppin'"-both from one of his bigger sellers, Alone/But Never Alone (MCA, 1986), where Carlton put down his Gibson ES335 hollowbody electric in favor of acoustic guitar-to his equally pop-centric but more change-heavy signature tune, "Room 335," from Larry Carlton (Warner Bros., 1978), and the slightly grittier, more forcefully grooving "All in Good Time," from On Solid Ground (MCA, 1989). But it's not all about light rhythms and pop-song accessibility. Carlton has, over the years, occasionally returned to the harder-edged, blues and rock-centric fusion that's been just as much a part of who he is, notably on albums like Sapphire Blue (Bluebird, 2004) and Fire Wire (Bluebird, 2006). Curiously, nothing is included from either of these fine discs, but Carlton does rework two powerful tracks from Renegade Gentleman (GRP, 1993), his rootsy collaboration with Nashville session ace, harmonicist Terry McMillan. Carlton may substitute saxophone for harmonica on the rocky "RCM" and fiery "Red Hot Poker," but the grit and grease remains fully intact. Whether on the easy-on-the-ears ballad of "Hello Tomorrow" or equally laidback "Terry T."- Carlton's tribute to keyboardist Terry Trotter, who played with the guitarist from the late-1970s through to the end of the 1980s-Carlton's ability to build sophisticated yet instantly memorable solos filled with lyrical invention is as uncanny as his immediately recognizable combination of singing, overdriven tone with evocative bends and searing runs. Compelling from start to finish, Greatest Hits Rerecorded Volume One doesn't necessarily bring a whole lot new to the table, but it does collect some of Carlton's more memorable tunes together. That the majority of these songs feel familiar without having heard the original albums speaks to Carlton's ubiquity, and his soloing throughout serves as a lesson in taste to those who operate under the mistaken impression that it's chops alone that make a guitarist great. ~ JOHN KELMAN http://rapidgator.net/file/15aaa99b66f9416f19ff146fc8388744/LACAGREH.rar.html http://ssh.tf/S91dTL8ZJ/LACAGREH.rar http://uploaded.net/file/iqey3s08/LACAGREH.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/4d5b1089065089751facf09fcb4da386/LACAGREH320.rar.html http://ssh.tf/dohseDKZJ/LACAGREH320.rar http://uploaded.net/file/dgnjy17h/LACAGREH320.rar

April In Paris (6:38) This eclectic jazz album by one of Jacksonville's premiere musicians, Larry Wilson, features a diverse array of highly skilled sidemen - not to mention some breath-taking compositions and arrangements by the band leader. In "No Secrets No Lies," Larry Wilson is featured on drums and vocals, with Daniel Dickinson's touches added as a sideman on alto sax. It is perhaps best described as a jazz fusion album - a collage of straight-ahead, second-line, R&B, and many other perspectives that each represent a different vantage point from which Wilson has viewed jazz music in light of contemporary style. A terrific album, and hopefully the first of many to come from Larry Wilson as leader, "No Secrets No Lies" will undoubtedly leave you wanting more. http://rapidgator.net/file/077632d1ee89f71dd9348787098e3ac8/LarryWilsonLies2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/enbi6w9ZJ/LarryWilsonLies2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/yxgjit52/LarryWilsonLies2016.rar

  25. Split Second Survival - Larry Wick DVDRip | English | AVI/XviD 29.970 fps 1500 Kbps | 712x480 | MP3 160 Kbps 48.0 khz | 5h 31mn | 4.01 GB Genre: Video Training, Self-defense, Martial arts First Strike is a unique street survival concept that is devastatingly effective. It is unique in that it strips away everything that is superfluous, which leaves a program that is based on speed, simplicity and decisive results. As with First Cut and First Shot, the First Strike DVD is tempered around one core prin[beeep]le, EVERYTHING MUST BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ONE SECOND OR LESS! It is the vicious application of this prin[beeep]le that leads the development of all techniques used in the SSS series. Many techniques that were otherwise viable were rejected out-of-hand because they did not meet the one-second rule. First Strike has no martial arts in the program, not because these techniques can't be effective but because they cannot be worked in the SSS one-second mantra. First Strike employs no kicks, joint locks, pressure points, or punching. First Strike will not allow you to focus on one attacker, but makes you aware of multiple attackers and weapons. As in all the SSS series First Strike gives you the mindset and corresponding techniques that let you use your attacker as a shield, and their weapons against each other. To a person trained in the martial arts it may be uncomfortable to rely on something new, but before long First Strike will be a primary tool for actual street survival. For the person with no training or survival skills, welcome to a world where you no longer have to be a victim and where survival is in your hands, the world of Split Second Survival. First Cut FIRST CUT is two hours of the most effective knife survival techniques dealing with moving and stable blades that you will ever experience! The reason SSS is so effective when it comes to defense against the blade is the concept of NEVER focusing on the knife, coupled with the thought of the victim always becoming an attacker. There are two types of assaults when dealing with the blade. First there is a stable blade attack, such as having a knife against the throat, or in the back, in such a way that an attacker has control over his victim. This is a situation that will most likely happen during a violent assault that involves robbery, rape, or abduction. It is the type of assault you will most likely have to contend with! The second is a moving knife, where an assailant is trying to stab, slash, and cut a victim in any way possible. This is less likely to happen in the street, for people do not usually walk around stabbing or slashing people. First Cut will dispel many of the knife survival techniques that are commonly taught today, showing how focusing on the weapon, and committing both hands can prove to be a deadly mistake... Split Second Survival will absolutely change the way you think about knife survival. It will introduce you to concepts you have not seen before since the focus is never on the knife as it is in most self defense systems that try to use disarming techniques such as joint manipulations, pressure points, locks or throws. They do not realize that it is almost impossible for these methods to be effective against powerful multiple attackers. The systems that attempt this type of strike with the mindset that you can block or catch a blade while attempting sweeps, punches and throws, have not given consideration to the realism of the street. It is as simple as that. I do not mean to sound disrespectful to any martial art or system that is out there, just watch this knife series as this series dispel the myths that are on the streets. I am honored and excited to bring the Split Second Survival knife series FIRST CUT to the public. The concepts and techniques will change the way knife defense will be taught now and in the future. First Shot FIRST SHOT is the most intensive, realistic and effective program that you will ever experience. As in the other series, there are no joint locks, take downs, punches, or throws, and it intends to dispel the myths and misconceptions so many instructors teach. The reason they are not taught is the same reason as hand-to-hand and knife, these techniques are not effective. Joint locks, take downs, punches and throws require intensive training and have only a slight possibility of working successfully in a realistic situation. When dealing with firearms your life is on the line. ONE MISTAKE AND YOU ARE DEAD! First Shot teaches defense against pistols and rifles, single and double handgrips, and multiple weapons. I am absolutely certain that the quality, the realism, and the effectiveness of this program will change the way you think about firearm self-defense. Live Fire I have trained with the F.B.I., State Troopers, city police, airport security, undercover agents, the military, and many other different groups and agencies; yet none have considered or understood the reality of a weapon discharging in a disarm attempt. I do not know if the public is ready for a DVD like this?? Larry Wick The Staff at SSS had to make the decision whether or not to release the newest addition to the SSS series, First Shot Live Fire. It was not a decision that everyone agreed with. This DVD took over 5 months to shoot. We shot over four hours of film, we have used over thirty minutes to show some of the basic reality of what happens to the body when you attempt many of the self-defense techniques that are taught by most agencies. First Shot Live Fire is NOT a teaching DVD in regards to gun disarms, it is a video dispelling the effectiveness of techniques that instructors teach as being viable. This DVD will offend many in the gun world because the thought of pointing a loaded weapon at a man?s head COMPLETELY blows the rules of gun safety away. We know and understand this violation, as I am the one that took the risks with the professionals in our staff. (For those that purchase this DVD I do not want to hear or read about the lack of concern for gun safety on some forum. If you think you may be offended, don?t buy the DVD.) This DVD was made for one reason, for your safety and survival when it comes to gun disarms. I am not here to tell you what techniques are the best or correct, we will let the DVD speak for itself. However, I can personally state that most of what I see and have experienced in the techniques that are taught will likely get you hurt, or even worse, killed. Most instructors do not account for or grasp the damage that occurs from the concussion caused by the sound, burns and flash from the powder and muzzle blast, damage from the cartridge ejection, or sharpness of the slide and sight mechanisms. These factors cause your techniques to be ineffective when they are not part of your training. Remember, this DVD was made for your SAFETY, so study it, and relate it to the training you are doing now. Then, ask yourself and your instructor, what happens to me if this weapon goes off? Can I survive the ramifications of this weapon going off as seen on the SSS Live Fire DVD? That?s all I ask. I have been honored that as the years pass, I see more and more reality based instructors beginning to use the SSS concepts.
