I'm On My Way Back To The Old Home 11. Lonesome L.a. Cowboy 12. I Ain't Broke But I'm Badly Bent 13. Orange Blossom Special 14. Angel Band Twenty-one years after the first album Old & In the Way came the second, an amazing development for a group that existed for only nine months and about 30 gigs in 1973. That High Lonesome Sound, like its predecessor, Old & In the Way, was drawn from the group's stand at the Boarding House in San Francisco in October 1973. And like that release, it combined traditional bluegrass material, in this case standards like "Orange Blossom Special" and "Uncle Pen," with interpolations from the world of rock & roll ("The Great Pretender") and new originals that touched on contemporary issues (Peter Rowan's "Lonesome L.A. Cowboy," a comment on the Southern California country-rock scene of the time). Old & In The Way was a great crossover album, largely because the bandmembers had enjoyed careers in rock, especially banjo player and singer Jerry Garcia, moonlighting from his day job in the Grateful Dead. What was less-well-known was that the group had real roots in the music, as Neil V. Rosenberg pointed out in the second album's liner notes. Four of the five members had experience in bluegrass, and two had been members of Bill Monroe's Blue Grass Boys. Old And In The Way was a hybrid, but it was far more bluegrass than rock. http://rapidgator.net/file/1c81b73d4e9c8ac1166ed26dd02e94fe/oaitwthl.rar.html http://ssh.tf/EBiLuDIlY/oaitwthl.rar

Artist: Stella Burns & The Lonesome Rabbits Title: Jukebox Songs Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Love & Thunder Genre: Folk/Rock/Americana Quality: MP3 320 Kbps Total Time: 30:05 Total Size: 102 MB Tracklist: 1. Bird On A Wire (3:10) 2. Far From Any Road (Feat. Baby Carla) (2:29) 3. Key (2:33) 4. Lost Property (4:29) 5. Louie Louie (2:31) 6. Lucky (3:11) 7. Pamela (3:09) 8. Wash (3:18) 9. While The Dust Gets Up (2:41) 10. La Ballata Di Carini (2:29) Stella Burns is the project and nom-de-plume of singer-songwriter and musician, Gianluca Maria Sorace. Sorace is the front-man with Hollowblue, who have recorded three albums, 'What You Left Behind' (2004), 'Stars are Crashing in My Backyard' (2008) and 'Wild Nights, Quiet Dreams' (2009), of richly-textured, strings-laden pop. Stella Burns maintains Sorace's swooning, gorgeous vocals, which have drawn him comparisons by 'Uncut' with Billy Mackenzie, but is otherwise a very different act. Much starker and largely acoustic in tone, it finds Sorace experimenting with a dozen different instruments including banjo, mandolin, cello, harmonica and trumpets. As befits the "space cowboy" character whom he has based Stella Burns around, it is with its scorched, windswept soundscapes like a stripped-down and lo-fi Ennio Morricone or Calexico. The new Stella Burns' album "Jukebox Songs" is going to be released by Love and Thunder Records on September 13th 2016. Stella Burns again creates his own acoustic sound playing this time many songs by others.. all with banjo, acoustic and slide guitars, piano and drums. http://rapidgator.net/file/d1f9b86ac0bb1a90719bec46042072de/Stella_Burns___The_Lonesome_Rabbits_-_Jukebox_Songs_2016.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/HUHIgorvp/Stella_Burns___The_Lonesome_Rabbits_-_Jukebox_Songs_2016.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/q9uts7gw/Stella_Burns___The_Lonesome_Rabbits_-_Jukebox_Songs_2016.rar

Artist: B.J. Thomas Title: I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry & Tomorrow Never Comes Year Of Release: 2009 Label: Collectors' Choice Music Genre: Pop/Rock/Country Quality: MP3 320 Kbps Total Time: 68:59 Total Size: 165 MB Tracklist: 1. Gonna Send You Back to Georgia (2:25) 24. Candy Baby (2:31) 25. Your Tear Leave Me Cold (3:05) 26. I'm Not A Fool Anymore (2:22) After slogging it out on the Texas indie circuit during the first half of the '60s, B.J. Thomas hooked up with Huey P. Meaux and Sceptre Records in 1966. This was on the heels of Thomas releasing a full-length album with his supporting band the Triumphs, a record called I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, and B.J. used the same title for his Sceptre debut, which makes sense as it's the first single that brought him to the charts. Thomas' version of Hank Williams' standard emphasized pop over country without completely pulling out the roots, a fairly good indication of the blend of roots musics on the LP. Under the guise of a pop singer, Thomas dabbles with country, blues, and soul, never quite committing fully to any of these sounds, but sounding fairly convincing in each. He's a good enough mimic to replicate Tom Jones' swagger on "It's Not Unusual," he pounds out a good "In the Midnight Hour," lays back easy on the country slow dance "The Titles Tell," and he's unashamed to lay on the corn on "Bring Back the Time" and "Mama," a quality that would serve him well later. If the record winds up seeming scattershot, a collection of different sounds in search of a hit, that's because it is: Thomas was game to try anything that could perhaps reach the charts, and no one style fit him better than the next. As such, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry winds up playing a bit as a mid-'60s sampler, which makes it an enjoyable period piece as well as a fairly promising debut. Like its predecessor, B.J. Thomas' second album, Tomorrow Never Comes, is characterized by its soulful dabbling. Thomas doesn't have one style, he has many, rooted in country and soul, sometimes touching on the blues, often wrapping this all up in a punch pop confection. This rootless roots music is diverse, but it doesn't necessarily play as versatility, perhaps because Thomas is almost too adept in adapting to his surroundings, not pushing through his personality but rather going with the flow. This isn't necessarily a problem, particularly on Tomorrow Never Comes, which has an easy touch Thomas would later leave behind, but it does leave him at the mercy of his songs, many written and/or arranged by his Triumphs bandmate Mark Clarron, which alternate between the solid and saccharine here. Thomas may have a flair for the kitsch but not even he can save Clarron's rewrite of his cornball "Mama" as "Daddy" -- nor does he seem truly invested in the weird tale of the suicidal "Plain Jane" -- so the album winds up being on much firmer ground on the stomping "Gonna Send You Back to Georgia," the shimmering of "Baby Cried," the mini-melodrama of "Walkin' Back" and the lively "Mystery of Tomorrow." Perhaps these aren't forgotten gems, or cuts that should have been hits, but they're solid '60s AM pop songs that remain enjoyable even if they're not quite distinctive. http://rapidgator.net/file/e9c96efd0e8c18c2f31f6fb2beee5918/B.J._Thomas_-_I_m_So_Lonesome_I_Could_Cry___Tomorrow_Never_Comes_2009.rar.html http://ssh.tf/9zUnpCiu7/B.J._Thomas_-_I_m_So_Lonesome_I_Could_Cry___Tomorrow_Never_Comes_2009.rar http://uploaded.net/file/6m0imn6l/B.J._Thomas_-_I_m_So_Lonesome_I_Could_Cry___Tomorrow_Never_Comes_2009.rar
