Orange Tree Samples Angelic Chimes - KONTAKT | 4.64 Gb We're excited to announce the release of Angelic Chimes, an extensively-sampled struck chimes sample library for Kontakt. The chimes have a pure, vibrant tone with a tremendous amount of sustain-in fact, some of the chimes ring for well over 30 seconds. Of course, this can be altered using the built-in attack, decay, and release controls, which allow you to sculpt the chimes' volume envelope into rich pad sounds or short percussive hits. The chimes were sampled in collaboration with Chris Poehler of Lujon Audio, who arranged and oversaw the entire sample recording at WaterSound Studios in Studio City, California-the same studio where our Pure Jazz Vibes and Paradise Marimba sample libraries were recorded. Like the vibraphone and marimba libraries, Angelic Chimes features close, mid, and far mic signals, giving you ample flexibility over the tone of the chimes. Orange Tree Samples - Angelic Harp KONTAKT | 1.77 GB We developed Angelic Harp in collaboration with Guy Randle of Rosewood Recording Company, who engineered and oversaw the sampling session. Angelic Harp is an extensively sampled 47-string concert harp, played by harpist Alex Bigney from the Celtic group Kirkmount. We always aim to recreate the playability of the real instrument as closely as possible. For example, each string on the harp is individually modeled, mimicking the monophonic nature of each string. This allows you to soften loud plucks with subsequent soft plucks. It also prevents the unnatural, excessive tonal build-up that many synthesized harps exhibit when playing glissandos and repeated notes. The adjustable preroll samples capture all the subtle fingernail noises that occur before the main pluck sound of the strings, adding a lot of depth and realism to the harp tone.
