Precisionsound Retro Gadgets 4 MULTiFORMAT | 177 Mb Retro Gadgets vol. 4 continuing the popular series with yet another bunch of rare and unique sounding instruments. We recreated the sounds of these keyboards and also used the potential of the sampler engines to create polyphonic pads, leads etc. based on the core sounds. This technique to use the multisampled keyboard sounds as oscillators gives a more analogue and organic result than using VA oscillators, in our opinion. Precisionsound Knutby Church Organ - MULTiFORMAT | 1.47 Gb Knutby is a small village in the centre of Uppland (Roslagen), Sweden, famous for its beautiful 13th century church. The organ was built in 1995 by Johannes Menzel, based upon a previous Gustav Andersson organ from 1867. In postproduction some pipes were excluded, others re-tuned and the noise-floor of the fan system was removed from the recordings with the latest restoration tools. All notes have been seamlessly looped and the length of notes is long so in most circumstances you will never reach the loop points while playing. Precisionsound Indian Surmandal - MULTiFORMAT | 1.84 Gb "Surmandal" also known as "Swarmandal" is a small Indian harp. It is generally used to accompany vocalists playing arpeggios and notes with the right thumb in Hindustani Classical music. The Surmandal was used in The Beatles songs "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," and "Within You Without You", plucked with a guitar pick like we have done here with the Indian Surmandal sample library. The "Surmandal" programs are the plectrum picked Surmandal from C1-G4 with all notes and half notes sampled. The mappings are E2-G5, the G5 is stretched to C6 and E2 is stretched down to C2. Every note has been sampled in 4 velocity layers and has 4 samples for every layer, these have been programmed as "round robin" for the Kontakt and EXS24 programs. The HALion programs have all samples mapped as velocity layers instead, a total of 16 velocity layers. A Thaat is a musical mode in Hindustani music which always has seven notes (excluding the repeated tonic) and is considered the basis for the system of organizing and classifying ragas in North Indian classical music. There are 10 generally accepted Thaats, all included in the Indian Surmandal: Bilawal, Khamaj, Kafi, Asavari, Bhairavi, Bhairav, Kalyan, Marwa, Purvi & Todi. These are strummed up/down in different speeds and also clusters of notes for each Thaat. Precisionsound Russian Balalaika - MULTiFORMAT | 307 Mb Precisionsound Russian Balalaika sample library a very detailed sampled Balalaika.The recording was made in the "Usachevsky" studio at the University of Utah, and the instrument was played by Igor Iachimciuc. The Russian 3 stringed (2 E strings and 1 A string) Balalaika sample library has been recorded in many articulations separately for both the E and A string. The sample library contains of 2 types of programs; "Solo" and "Group" (NI Kontakt, EXS24 & HALion versions only). The "Solo" programs are one single Balalaika and the "Group" programs are a mix of 3 different notes and articulations played at the same time to build a unison feel of 3 unique Balalaika players.
