Artist: David S. Ware & Matthew Shipp Duo Title: Live In Sant'Anna Arresi 2004 Year Of Release: 2016 Label: AUM Fidelity Genre: Jazz Quality: FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 45:58 min Total Size: 229 MB Tracklist: 1. Tao Flow (Part 1) [21:06] 2. Tao Flow (Part 2) [20:22] 3. Encore [04:28] Live in Sant Anna Arresi, 2004 is the 2nd volume in AUM Fidelity s David S. Ware Archive Series, and the first release of the saxophone master in rare duo performance with fellow master of music, pianist Matthew Shipp. Though sharing 17 years together in the legendary David S. Ware Quartet (along with bassist William Parker and a series of drummers), Shipp recalls that he and Ware performed duo concerts perhaps six times at most in that period. Thankfully, on this latter-day occasion, their work together in this form was professionally recorded. This concert is one continuous long-form improvisation; it spans an incredibly wide range of approaches and dynamics. The ecstatic deep listening experience of free jazz performed at a highest level avails itself here in full. Their delighfully pithy trading fours encore to the concert is also included. Obviously the very deep levels of communion which were developed within the context of Ware s Quartet inform this work. In equal evidence is each of them embracing the leaderless duo context, challenging and expanding their mutual language throughout. Following David s untimely passing in October 2012 on the eve of his 63rd birthday, it was understood necessary to continue releasing singular works of great magnitude in order to further radiate his distinctly potent sound and vision. David S. Ware s work was a foundational inspiration for the AUM Fidelity label, and its mission continues strong with this essential DSW-ARC series. The wonderful portrait of Matthew & David featured here on the album cover was taken by world-renowned New York City-based photographer Sylvia Plachy in 1994. http://rapidgator.net/file/e955b3080934d5bd23d5671ecfbe31cb/LISANA.rar.html http://ssh.tf/F0DNzFjFL/LISANA.rar http://uploaded.net/file/te48hzlc/LISANA.rar

Artist: Shipp Title: Crow Loudly Year Of Release: 2012 Label: Shipp Genre: Blues, Blues Rock Quality: Mp3 320 / Flac (image, log, .cue) Total Time: 56:22 Total Size: 215/476 Mb (covers) Tracklist: 01. First Thing I See 10. Crazy Mama 11. Positively 4Th Street 12. You That Makes Me Crazy Michael Shipp has a nice one out called Crow Loudly (Roosterboy Music) . Actually, it is billed as "Shipp," kinda like Van Halen. You know, just a last name. I met Michael several years ago when he was playing in a band with his life long friend Billy Bob Thornton, and I have waited a long time for this record. Shipp, the band, consists of Mike on guitar and vocals, Jai Lambert on bass and special guests are peppered throughout the alum, including Billy Bob on drums and vocals, Dusty Hill (ZZ Top) on bass, Pat Travers on guitar, the late Stephen Bruton on guitar, Les Dudek on guitar, Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd) on guitar, Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis (Guns n' Roses) on keys, Brad Davis on acoustic and more. Lots of great songs, many written by Shipp, and including adapted covers like ZZ Top's "Sure Got Cold After the Rain Fell," The Allman Brothers' "Its Not My Cross to Bear," and Bob Dylan's "Positively 4th Street." This is a great CD. Outstanding playing and great to crank up in the car when you hit the open road. This Shipp boldly goes where no band has gone before. Fascinating. http://rapidgator.net/file/a6335fcf77449ecb2529c645fe5ceafe/scl.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/Zo61ap92p/scl.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/ksnb4ebh/scl.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://rapidgator.net/file/714fedffabdfa9a2f6cba14846e65cb5/s_c_l.rar.html ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://ssh.tf/FxOeJjF2p/s_c_l.rar ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss http://uploaded.net/file/gwh5hogv/s_c_l.rar

Artist: Bobby Kapp & Matthew Shipp Title: Cactus Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Northern Spy Records Genre: Jazz / Free Improvisation Quality: FLAC (tracks) Total Time: 61:23 min Total Size: 364 MB Tracklist: 1. Overture [00:08:32] 2. Before [00:04:26] 3. During [00:05:51] 4. Money [00:06:10] 5. Cactus [00:05:31] 6. After [00:08:08] 7. Good Wood [00:10:50] 8. Snow Storm Coming [00:05:41] 9. The 3rd Sound [00:06:08] Drummer Bobby Kapp, free jazz spirit in New York in the mi-sixties, relocated to Mexico City, to the Artists' colony San Miguel de Allede. But he gets around, and on a return to New York he joined pianist Matthew Shipp to record a terrific set of duo improvisations called Cactus. Shipp, the better-known half of the team, plays with a vehemence that parallels his public persona-a prickly, chip-on-the-shoulder, in-your-face approach, a sort of Randy Weston meets Cecil Taylor to and rub elbows with Bud Powell-if Powell had played with serious attitude. Kapp, for his part, rumbles and rolls, he whispers and shuffles. He rat-ta-tats to make you break into a dance step, and sometimes he stomps, and he may be the most simpatico band mate Shipp has ever worked with. Shipp is prolific. His Wikipedia page list five releases in 2015, and they probably missed a couple. Kapp has available recordings with his Fine Wine Trio, a collaboration with free jazz saxophonist Noah Howard, and his 2015 offering, Cilia Sin Embargo (Self Produced). Cactus opens with the eight and half minute "Overture," a frenetic improvisation full of angles, and a momentum that waxes and wanes. Shipp leaves more space than he normally does. He seems to search, discover, then explore new tangents. His normal percussive approach is leaner, crisper, as Kapp lays down a tight weave of textures. "Before" sounds composed. Shipp's left hands plays walking bass to Kapp's bright cymbal splashes. Kapp-like Billy Mintz and the late Paul Motian-is a rare drum kit poet. His melodic intro to "Money" is a divinely masterful ninety seconds, leading into Shipp's discombobulation of notes that gels into a compelling, light-stepping beauty. Everything meshed on this set. Cactus proves itself cohesive CD full of unpretentious, adventurous, improvised beauty. -- DAN MCCLENAGHAN http://rapidgator.net/file/f80aeb73a5925924013ebbb98e24f663/BKMSC.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ApOFysjzP/BKMSC.rar http://uploaded.net/file/q4j42zh8/BKMSC.rar
