The Violin features up to 3.5 octaves, 4 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, 2 legato types, 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Spiccato, Staccato and Pizzicato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The sampling was madetop quality gear: Schoeps and AudioTechnica microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps. The violin is a 1839 Gaetano Guadagnini made in Turin. Therefore we needed a special scripting device which could blend all the samples transitions in a very smooth and realistic way. We developed an external tool which analyzes the samples and imports this data into Kontakt called the Dynamic Control Engine. Thanks to the DCE, Kontakt knows the volumes of the samples currently playing in the instrument and matches the volume of the incoming samples with the previous ones. In the end the DCE works flawlessly "under the radar" leaving the user free to enjoy playing and building his expressive legato phrases. Rhythmic Robot Audio Drifter KONTAKT-SYNTHiC4TE SYNTHiC4TE | August 10 2016 | 838 MB Drifter is, at heart, a simple idea: build the ultimate pad machine. A synth dedicated to, and optimised for, pads. Big swooshy pads. Smooth analogue pads. Crisp, shimmering digital pads with grainy washes of sound running through them in stereo. Crusty vintage pads that crackle and tremble and sound like they're emanating from old tube amps tied together with frayed patch cords. Delicate ethereal pads. Warm pads like wooly jumpers. Lots of pads, basically. Drifter doesn't try to be a lead machine or a bass monster or anything other than a great big pad playground. It's built from the ground up to create evolving, textural sounds with lots of movement and stereo interest going on. The central engine is based on three Drift Clouds, each of which harnesses twin waves which you can dial up from a variety of analogue and digital sources - smooth analogue tones from our vintage monosynths, crispy digiwaves from Ensoniqs and Yamahas, and of course the Korg Scale Noise we love so much. The twin waves of each Drift Cloud can be set drifting across the stereo field using the Drift controls; the big Drift slider increases the difference between the two waves to emphasise the amount of movement. Built into each Drift Cloud are further LFO-based movement controls: Pitch and Amp are self explanatory, while Grain harnesses a modulating bitcrusher of the kind we used to such happy effect on Uproar to introduce shifting, sleeting clusters of graininess to the clouds. This is great for gently roughing up a pad that's a little too smooth, or for creating the impression of noise across a tone. The Drift Clouds are similar but not identical, so while cloud 1 has a Pitch LFO, Cloud 2 does away with that in favour of a simple octave selector, and Cloud 3 allows for full-range coarse and fine pitch adjustment - great for dialling in fifths or sevenths and detuning them against the core sound. Global High Pass and Low Pass Filters (the LPF with a dedicated envelope) slice up your frequencies and help carve the sound into something beautiful. And best of all, the Glitch control has pride of place. We've spent a lot of hours tailoring its behaviour very carefully to the parameters available in Drifter, so that its "hit rate" of getting you a starting point you like (or even a finished patch you want to save) is really high. Fluffy Audio John Diamanti Fox Solo Clarinet KONTAKT-SYNTHiC4TE SYNTHiC4TE | May 22 2016 | 6.42 GB We've sampled a handful of top woodwind players at the Teatro delle Voci in Treviso. This is the second volume of our woodwind series: the lovely sound of John Diamanti Fox's Clarinet. John plays his instrument with lot of passion and he currently works with some of the most important orchestras in Italy and Europe. He plays both in chamber and orchestral music and he occasionally works for local composers and songwriters. The Solo Clarinet features three full octaves, 3 dynamic layers for sustained articulations, 3 true legato articulations (legato detache, legato espressivo and growl legato), 4 Round Robins for short articulations like Staccato, Staccato Tight and Soft Staccato. We provide you the ability to create your unique sound by mixing the 3 microphones positions (Close, Mid and Far). The script features our Articulations Editor which allows to precisely control each of the articulations included and create your own ones. The sampling was made with top quality gear: Schoeps microphones, Neve and Millennia Media preamps. DCE - DYNAMIC CONTROL ENGINE When developing the library we tried to avoid over-processing the samples by using compression and normalization. Therefore we needed a special scripting device which could blend all the samples transitions in a very smooth and realistic way. We developed an external tool which analyzes the samples and imports this data into Kontakt called the Dynamic Control Engine. Thanks to the DCE, Kontakt knows the volumes of the samples currently playing in the instrument and matches the volume of the incoming samples with the previous ones. In the end the DCE works flawlessly "under the radar" leaving the user free to enjoy playing and building his expressive legato phrases. PITCH WHEEL CONTROL Furthermore, as you can see from the video below, the instrument features dynamic articulations like accented and crescendo attacks and the different legato articulations, dynamically controlled by the Pitch Wheel. This allows to craft beautiful musical phrases with a smooth beginning and a faded ending or abrupt accented notes with slurred passages along the way. The versatility of the DCE engine handles smoothly all these techniques. The intent will be to cover grooves which are either very hard to technically synthestrate (ex. a stirring brush pattern) or those which can sound "square" when crafted via midi or midi loops. The library is aimed as a follow up to the Rhythmic aspect similar to Cinematic Rhythms.
