Installing Rheingold'a

[1] Set the BMW Standard Tools 2.12 on the C: drive

[2] unlock the program archive. Unpack the archive.

[3] Copy the folder at any place, where we will use. Change the name of the folder on the Rheingold.

for Windows x86 can be copied to C: / Program Files / Rheingold

for Windows x64 folder in C: / Program Files (x86) / Rheingold

[4] Open the folder Rheingold / TesterGUI / bin / Release. Looking Fail ISTAGUI.exe. Yarklyk do on your desktop.

[5] If you have never used Rheingold, open the folder Rheingold / Redist. Fail vs90_piaredist.exe find and install.

[6] sets Ediabas for your interface (cable). Ediabas located in the folder C: / Ediabas.

Open Rheingold, settings, open the section VCI Config and select Ediabas, or any other type of interface, if you need one.

 

Change screen resolution

Default Rheingold starts with a resolution of the window 1024x768. To make the program to full screen in the config ISTAGUI.exe.config need to add a line with the code (see. Below).
