More interesting video get better engagement from your audience.

That means restraint!

Use only 1 or 2 styles of special effects.

If you continuously a different styles, your audience starts to concentrate on the special effects and stop listening to the message you're presenting

Whether you want:

* better backdrops for your promo videos,

* or you want to enhance your students' learning experience in your teaching videos

* or you simply want to improve your professional image with an expensive-looking backdrop

- that's all fine - just do it intentionally. Pick a backdrop that makes sense & is serving your intended purpose.

Just because we stick our talking head in front of the camera, doesn't always mean WE need to be the center of attention.

People actually don't like watching talking head videos for very long, they want some pictures to illustrate the words, some graphs or graphics or cartoons.
