These practices have evolved over many centuries and they will powerfully work the connection between your spiritual, mental and physical health. Secretly taught and handed down through the ages by yogis before being taught in the West, Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic practice easy to learn but powerful in its results.

 

Nirvair Singh, the teacher of Kundalini Yoga for Beginners is a university instructor and has taught classes in Kundalini Yoga at the University of Alaska, Anchorage since 1975. In his 30 year teaching career he has taught over 11,000 classes attended by over 275,000 students. His classes have had consistently the highest positive student evaluations in his college.

 

Nirvair Singh began study with Yogi Bhajan in 1970, and has taught seminars, classes and retreats all over the United States and in Mexico, Italy, France, Russia, and India. Yogi Bhajan honored Nirvair Singh with the title of Mukhia Singh Sahib in April of 2001.

 

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association and is the Coordinator of Teacher Training in North America for the Kundalini Research Institute. He has personally authored fourteen videos and four books on Kundalini Yoga.

Volume 1

Lesson 1 - Introduction to Kundalini Yoga

Introduction to Yoga and the twelve classes in this series. Warm up stretching series. Gentle basic stretching and back exercises. Deep relaxation.

Lesson 2 - Simple Stretching and Basic Slow Deep Breathing

Warm up stretching series. New basic stretching and back exercises. Deep relaxation. Introduction to Breath and long slow deep breathing.

 

Volume 2

Lesson 3 - More Simple Stretching and Breathing Exercises

Warm up stretching series. New basic stretching and back exercises. Deep relaxation. New Breathing exercise: Alternate nostril slow deep breathing.

Lesson 4 - Abdominal Strengthening and Energy Center Balancing Series
