Artist: David Newman (David "Fathead" Newman) Title: Bigger & Better [Japan Jazz Best Collection 1000] Year Of Release: 2012 (1968) Label: Warner Japan [WPCR-27128] Genre: Jazz, Hard Bop, Soul Jazz, Jazz Blues Quality: FLAC (tracks+.cue, log, scans) Total Time: 31:51 Total Size: 409 MB Features 24 bit remastering and comes with a mini-description. The sessions that resulted in Bigger & Better feature Newman with a string section and studio musicians for forgettable versions of two Beatles songs, a pair of Sam Cooke R&B pieces and a couple of lesser items. David "Fathead" Newman probaly is not the best saxophone player you will ever listen to. But he is a lyrical player and he has such a signature sound that you just got to love him. Like Hank Mobley, David "Fat Head" Newman kinda gets lost in the shuffle when you compare him to Sonny, Trane, Dexter, or even Stanley Turrentine! Artist: David M'ore Title: Passion, Soul, and Fire Year Of Release: 2015 Label: David M'ore Genre: Blues Rock Quality: Mp3 320 / Flac (image, log, .cue) Total Time: 78:21 Total Size: 291/641 Mb (covers) Tracklist: 1. The Devil's Land 2. Love Again 3. Stronger Than I Realize 4. Johan Sebastian Blues 5. You Said You Love Me 6. Sweet Little Baby 7. The 12 Song 8. Cold Blooded 9. Everytime I Think of You 10. Funk It Up 11. Lier 12. Mistreated A mystical guitar man from a bygone era, David M'ore arrived to L.A in the early 90's committed to alter the musical scene. Club goers and musicians begin to talk about the new kid with the virtuoso aggressive guitar style, raspy vocals, and his high energy fueled Blues-Rock tunes. Now with his second solo album " From The Other Side of The River " David M'ore managed to take his guitar pyrotechnics to a different level of instrumental majesty. Performing on a custom made Strat carefully modified to his specifications, M'ore demonstrates his acclaimed six string technique on both originals and cover tunes. "I love to pay tribute to those who influenced me." "But at the same time I like to be true to who I am," says M'ore, whose influences include Hendrix, Blackmore, Satriani, J. Winter, Gary Moore, Albert King, and other guitar monsters. From the beginning, traditional Blues and British Neoclassical Hard Rock played a very important role in the evolution of David M'ore style. Born in Argentina, he picked up an old guitar that his godfather bought him for his eighth birthday and immediately began to explore vintage records. "The aggressive sound of the guitar drove me emotionally insane," David says." "I still listen to those old records from Johnny Winter". That's where it all began. http://rapidgator.net/file/07bb076798256e68287a1bde31e06e39/dmandp.rar.html http://ssh.tf/LFW4XH3EP/dmandp.rar http://uploaded.net/file/1rq3ufgz/dmandp.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/62e8f4b6b6bc4bfb5e8f0d3271546991/dm100p.rar.html http://ssh.tf/38i8L7eEP/dm100p.rar http://uploaded.net/file/fizzo916/dm100p.rar

Artist: Rynhrd Boegl Group Title: Illustrated Year Of Release: 2015 Label: Alessa Records Genre: Blues Rock Quality: 320 kbps Total Time: 47:07 Total Size: 111 MB Tracklist: 1. I Want You To Come Back (4:21) 2. Not Enough For You (3:00) 3. American Prayer (3:54) 4. Stop (5:27) 5. Suddenly (2:59) 6. Alltime Blues (4:13) 7. Flesh And Blood (3:28) 8. The Eternal Clock (4:58) 9. That's The Way (3:44) 10. Got My Own Way (6:09) 11. B'n'b (4:49) The "Rynhrd Boegl Group" - the band of exceptional harmonica player and Bluesshouter Rynhrd Boegl, prominently supported by the "Guitar Legend" Fritz Glatzl. Rhythmically powered by a driving and unstoppable groove section: Tom Siegl on bass and Andreas Szelegowitz on drums. Although this is still a relatively young band, each of the four musicians has its 30th anniversary on stage already behind. To talk about an "old-men-band" would be just as wrong as the blues be described as "sad melancholy". On the contrary, the decades of live experience on stage is converted into pure energy, an energy which hardly anyone can avoid. The result was once aptly called "mal-edged, then rousing cheerful, powerful blues-rock". The edged part of the sound is made by Fritz Glatzl on electric guitar. He has over three decades of experience on live stages with one of the eldest Blues Band of Austria - the "Bluespumpm". His uncomplicated personality can be heard clearly without compromise in the reduced to the bare minimum, groovy style of play. This fit perfect for the powerful, virtuoso harmonica from frontman Rynhrd Boegl. Classifying his style of playing the harmonica can be done hardly: There are traditional sounds, sounds similar to a distorted guitar, then you can hear an organ or a horn. Everything is possible and nothing forbidden, so Rynhrd makes the harmonica and the rough vocal qualities the high level of recognition of the band. For the necessary rhythmic supply of "Rynhrd Boegl Group" two well-trained instrumentalists are in this band. Their broad musical spectrum makes the uniqueness of the overall sound perfectly. Tom Siegl on bass is at home in soul and jazz as well as in the Latin American music and rock. Only a few notes, then again provocative melodies - what the song needs will be reliably identified and completed together with the drummer. On drums there is Andreas Szelegowitz, a master on many instuments: drums, percussion, guitar, piano, composition and arrangement. He and Tom just serves the same purpose: to provide the basis for an independent driving and explosive blues-rock band. In the live programm there are many compositions of the band - "the own stuff can be done at the best". And with respect for the great masters on live stages can also be heard many classics of the genre. Songs like "Rock Me Baby" (BB King), "Rollin 'And Tumblin" (Muddy Waters), "Just Got Paid" (ZZ Top), "My Babe" (Little Walter) or John Mayall all time hit "Room To Move" will be interpreted in the own "Rynhrd Boegl Group"- style. Rough and dirty blues without resorting to clich??s, with the unmistakable energy of handmade rock. Presented in a virtuosic and energetic style, reflecting the roots and the modern urban spirit. "The Blues had a grandchild, and they named it..." http://rapidgator.net/file/6b3bb5e502d7b657e02ad05d32969a3c/RynhrdBoeglGroupIllustrated2015.rar.html http://ssh.tf/hk658vclZ/RynhrdBoeglGroupIllustrated2015.rar http://uploaded.net/file/9t2f0oc6/RynhrdBoeglGroupIllustrated2015.rar

He pushes the envelope even further on his latest microtonal project, Flam! Blam! Pan-Asian MicroJam! Jointly dedicated to 20th century classical composer Olivier Messiaen and innovative hip-hop record producer J Dilla, this ambitious venture has the guitarist-composer pursuing his passion for the notes that fall between the cracks with his intrepid microtonal crew. The seven movements that comprise Flam! instigated by Fiuczynski receiving a 2011 Guggenheim Fellowship, show the connections between exotic bird calls and J Dilla's famous 'flam beats' while also referencing the colors of Messiaen's music, Gagaku, the ancient court music of Japan, and other Pan-Asian ingredients. The three extra tracks that comprise Blam! feature special guest Rudresh Mahanthappa on alto saxophone. Fiuczynski is joined on both portions of his latest release by former Microjam Institute students Utar Artun on microtonal keyboard, Yazhi Guo on suona (Chinese oboe) and percussion, Helen Sherrah-Davies on violin, Jack Sherman on microtonal keyboard, Justin Schornstein on bass and Alex Bailey on drums. http://rapidgator.net/file/f39e88ed0c688da73f2ac90a9fd8ba12/Flam1_Blam1_Pan-Asian_MicroJam1.rar.html http://ssh.tf/uO8Ha93mP/Flam1_Blam1_Pan-Asian_MicroJam1.rar http://uploaded.net/file/eu7gv2yl/Flam1_Blam1_Pan-Asian_MicroJam1.rar

Artist: David Burns Title: Soledad Year Of Release: 2016 Label: David Burns Genre: Jazz / Guitar Quality: Mp3 / 320kbps Total Time: 39:43 min Total Size: 101 MB Tracklist ---------- 01. As The Eye Can See 02. Overland Park 03. The Raver 04. A Harsh Reality 05. Three Sisters 06. Soledad 07. Rachel's Mom 08. Salad Days 09. Sermons In Steel 10. Sesquipedalia 11. One Small Voice Before David Burns was the guitarist/vocalist/songwriter for celebrated L.A. area Celtic/Bluegrass group Sligo Rags (regular Disneyland and touring performers), he was a lonely troubadour going from coffeehouse to coffeehouse playing solo acoustic guitar instrumentals. Recorded in the heyday of the "new acoustic music" explosion in the late eighties and early nineties, "Soledad" was inspired by the extraordinary acoustic guitarists that came out of that era--Michael Hedges, Alex De Grassi, John Renbourn, Leo Kottke--in hopes that it might get noticed by Wyndham Hill records or a similar label. While this never occurred, we are certain you will find these instrumental compositions worthy of inclusion in your music collection. http://rapidgator.net/file/7e6768b512bd9921f9d89e5698506715/DavidBurnsSoledad.rar.html http://ssh.tf/uLE2zGSEP/DavidBurnsSoledad.rar http://uploaded.net/file/6ztrl3u8/DavidBurnsSoledad.rar

Got That Woman On My Mind 2. Ain't No Lie 3. Baby, Take Your Time 4. Big-Boned Baby 5. I Want To Be With You Tonight 6. I Can't Help Myself 7. Dallas 8. I'm Sayin' 'yes' To Everything 9. Lookin' For A Woman Founded in 1998 and based in the Central NJ/Philly area, Dave Orban & the Mojo Gypsies are a high-energy quartet that play a unique blend of up-tempo blues and old-school R&B. At a Gypsies gig, you're likely to hear songs by such classic blues artists as T-Bone Walker, Ray Charles, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Louis Jordan, Freddie King and Albert Collins, as well as music from contemporary blues performers including Rick Estrin, Rod Piazza, Kid Ramos, Paul DeLay, and James Harman, along with original material in the same vein. Active since 1998, they have performed with or supported such national acts as James Harman, Debbie Davies, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Murali Coryell, and Selwyn Birchwood. Led by founder - and International Blues Hall of Fame inductee - DAVE ORBAN on guitar and vocals, the Gypsies feature MIKE SCOTT from Langhorne, PA on tenor sax and vocals, along with Flourtown, PA resident FLOURTOWN FATS on the upright and electric bass, while Philadelphia-based MARK SHEWCHUK keeps the groove goin', on drums and percussion. The band's music integrates many influences from the greater blues tradition - from Chicago and West Coast electric blues to southern country blues and even New Orleans-styled marches. With a repertoire that shines a light on lesser-known but compelling tunes from the pioneers of the blues form, the band looks to impart a contemporary feel to a traditional form, while not departing drastically from the foundational elements of this type of music. http://rapidgator.net/file/acc9f2a052e977bb547eb9b652fe5172/doatmgandih.rar.html http://ssh.tf/RYZVwHJEP/doatmgandih.rar http://uploaded.net/file/c0ct1nae/doatmgandih.rar

Artist: Dave Grusin Title: Piano, Strings And Moonlight: The Many Moods Of Dave Grusin Year Of Release: 1962/2015 Label: Blue Moon Records Genre: Jazz Quality: 320 kbps Total Time: 37:58 Total Size: 102 MB Tracklist: 1. Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) (2:47) 2. Love Is Here To Stay (2:59) 3. My Funny Valentine (3:39) 4. What Is This Thing Called Love (2:11) 5. The More I See You (4:03) 6. Autumn Leaves (2:55) 7. What Is There To Say (3:50) 8. Sara Jane (4:12) 9. The Party's Over (2:50) 10. Here's That Rainy Day (3:31) 11. You Don't Know What Love Is (2:44) 12. When Your Lover Has Gone (2:11) One of the reasons for the success of this 1962 album is the excellence of Dave Grusins arrangements for eleven violins, two violas, two cellos, bass and drums. While making this album, Dave says, I saw no reason why nice harmonic changes could not be played by strings. I saw no reason why the string writing could not be a little more complicated than it usually is for albums of this type. And with the freedom Bob [Robert Mersey, the albums producer] gave me, I wrote and played exactly what I wanted. Mersey observes that with Daves arrangements, the strings simply become an extension of the piano. In this album Grusin showed that he has a deft, sensitive touch, inventiveness and exceptionally good taste. http://rapidgator.net/file/66d32f419dbd8065c57569216d650238/DaveGrusinMoonlight1962.rar.html http://ssh.tf/crKfMawEP/DaveGrusinMoonlight1962.rar http://uploaded.net/file/qoqvetfg/DaveGrusinMoonlight1962.rar

Artist: Dave Fields Title: All In Year Of Release: 2014 Label: Dave Fields Genre: Blues, Blues Rock Quality: Mp3 320 / Flac (image, log, .cue) Total Time: 50:44 Total Size: 196/464 Mb (covers) Tracklist: 01. Changes In My Life (4:06) 02. Voodoo Eyes (4:18) 03. Let's Go Downtown (4:28) 04. Dragon Fly (4:47) 05. Cross Road (4:33) 06. Wake Up Jasper (5:38) 07. Black Dog (6:15) 08. Not Gonna Let You Get Away (5:25) 09. Got A Hold On Me (3:19) 10. That's All Right (3:57) 11. Lovers Holiday (3:57) Dave Fields grew up in New York City learning his trade first-hand at the side of his father, Broadway composer Sammy "Forever" Fields. Making his name in commercial music before moving on to his award winning blues recording. Dave is on the move again with his fourth CD "All In". He's in 100% he's the composer, singer, producer, mix/masterer and plays most of the instruments with the help of Kenny Soule on drums and Tony Tino or Andy Huenerberg on bass. This new disc is more rock oriented in tone while keeping a blues based edge and the songs reflect "The Changes In My Life" with Dave demonstrating his skill with guitar licks and tricks worthy of Steve Vai, recorded live at Al Weber's New York studio. Others recorded live are the alluring "Voodoo Eyes" featuring spell binding guitar leads and the epic "Not Gonna Let You Get Away" with Vladimir Barsky on organ and Barsky stays on for the Earl King-influenced number "Got A Hold On Me." While giving a light swing groove to Led Zepplin's heavy rock tune "Black Dog" recorded live in Norway, Dave's guitar technique switch to a grinding drone driving his cover of Robert Johnson's "Crossroad" which is barely recognizable until the last gritty guitar lick. "Wake Up Jasper", featuring Dave Keyes on piano, is a gritty roadhouse blues rocker that roars with earth shaking guitar licks. The retro "Let's Go Downtown" is a Prince-like call to party in NYC with a funky groove and all the moves and Dave sings "That's All Right." Cutting all the bombast, a delicate flighty guitar rings on "Dragon Fly", soaring to heights in the lead. The "Lover's Holiday" drops all pretensions with a light acoustic finger snapping New York City Doo Wop delight. Dave Fields puts everything into each of his endeavors and with "All In" it's just another side to this talented multifaceted artist. http://rapidgator.net/file/a751c8357bba00596d292bf53316662e/dfanda.rar.html http://ssh.tf/vq9F5dUEP/dfanda.rar http://uploaded.net/file/atiu7l9c/dfanda.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/15da2af4a4f3381e96e939a5ca2fef08/df100a.rar.html http://ssh.tf/VpJNq9gEP/df100a.rar http://uploaded.net/file/zwrl38wq/df100a.rar

Luke Jones & His Orchestra - Jump Me Some Boogie (2:33) The "Mellow Cats'n'Kittens" series has been a pleasure for me to work on during the past few years. I'd always admired my late friend and colleague Ray Topping's work on the Modern catalogue and I've tried to maintain and build on what he started. While I don't pretend to have Ray's dedicated appreciation of discographical minutiae, I'd like to think that, with this and a host of other projects, I've also done my bit to keep alive the wonderful productions of the Modern Music Company's founder, Jules Bihari. For the fifth volume in the series, we've taken the opportunity to complete the digitisation of the Modern discographies of several artists who have appeared on previous volumes, such as the Three Bits Of Rhythm and Felix Gross. We're also premiering tracks by mainstays of the Modern catalogue that were previously thought lost (Jimmy Witherspoon's first solo Modern track, 'Motel') or were undiscovered until relatively recently (our Hadda Brooks track, located on the back of a Smokey Hogg acetate). There are quality cuts by past contributors such as Sylvester "Big Duke" Henderson, the equally "Big" Jim Wynn, Herb Fisher and Johnny Alston's Orchestra - all fine purveyors of the kind of music that lit up Central Avenue in the decade immediately following the end of WWII. Our other points of call include Houston, Texas, where we take in selections from Gory (sic) Carter's lone Modern session, before heading south west to New Orleans for a cut by the George Alexander band that was originally disguised as the work of Ramp Davis. Back on the west coast we feature the great boogie pianist Pete "P.K." Johnson rollin' 'em just as he did for so long with Big Joe Turner, and jazz guitar/vocal group legend Teddy Bunn jamming with a hot trio led by Kansas City piano king Jay McShann. For those who, like me, couldn't experience the era personally, or the venues from which music like this poured seven nights a week, it's the next best thing to being there. As ever, deeper research has allowed us to include a copious amount of previously unissued recordings to add further spice to what is already a potent mix - 9 in total. Although this is the fifth instalment of "Mellow Cat'n'Kittens", the contents are as strong as on any previous volume - and there's still plenty of quality vintage Modern repertoire slated for reissue in the next few years. Jump you some boogie? We certainly can, man! ~By Tony Rounce http://rapidgator.net/file/3e11b46268475ae64994c2adf49055e8/VAFurtherMellowCatsLL2011.rar.html http://ssh.tf/A2C1G5C3Z/VAFurtherMellowCatsLL2011.rar http://uploaded.net/file/ot10rm0i/VAFurtherMellowCatsLL2011.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/439a20bfe2be554000ae3841fd01daea/VAFurtherMellowCats2011.rar.html http://ssh.tf/obiusnS3Z/VAFurtherMellowCats2011.rar http://uploaded.net/file/d347o1u7/VAFurtherMellowCats2011.rar

When You're Smiling (9:19) In the history of jazz, there have been a handful of iconic figures who have transcended popular music styles of their era to create a new generation of jazz devotees. The late Dave Brubeck was one of these. There is very little that I can add to the discussion of the distinguished career of Dave Brubeck - he was, and is, irreplaceable. That is exactly why this CD release is so important. Beginning in February of 1951, shortly after the Brubeck Quartet was formed the prior August, George Wein signed Brubeck to perform at his jazz venue called Storyville which was located in the Copley Square Hotel in downtown Boston. The engagement was broadcast on the radio station WHDH - 850 on the dial if I remember correctly. This was the beginning of a series of broadcasts by Brubeck from Storyville over the next three years. This release gathers all these broadcasts in a 3 CD set which is an absolute must for Brubeck fans for a variety of reasons not the least of which is the aural evidence of the development of the Quartet's style as personnel changes took place over the three year span of these recordings. The fact that Brubeck and Paul Desmond anchored the groups lent stability and direction which evolved into the golden years of the Quartet before Desmond's departure for a solo career. There is very little to critique here. The playing is wonderful - the improvisations are elegant, unique, and ultimately Brubeckian - in short, essential to any serious jazz collection. The notes are extensive and the sound reproduction is superb. The transfers are clean and immediate. I cannot imagine a fan of Brubeck's without this set. Highly recommended. Update - I neglected to mention that some of these broadcasts originated at the Buckminster Hotel in Boston. It was a venue that housed Storyville for a period of time in the early 50's. Also I was in error as to the station broadcasting the programs. I missed it the first time through, but subsequently learned that the engineer on the Buckminster Hotel remotes was Arnie Ginsberg who was a sound engineer and later iconic DJ for station WMEX in Boston. In the late 50's and early 60's he was a fixture on WMEX when it became a pop music -top 40 formula station. He was known as "WOO WOO" Ginsberg and had a huge teen audience. Nevertheless, as I mentioned earlier, these remotes are superb. I never fail to be moved by Paul Desmond's alto playing. A good friend of mine met him once and as a fellow sax player was fulsome in his admiration for Desmond. One of his most prized possessions is an alto mouthpiece given to him by Desmond after a gig of Desmond's that he attended. He always said that Desmond was a very regular guy who was very approachable. The ethereal quality of his high register playing was unique - he "played high" and it was easily identifiable. A wonderful CD set. There are a few minor dropouts presumably for station ID. Absolutely essential for Brubeck and Desmond fans. http://rapidgator.net/file/9386a4ce88d3368d760eb476aa594664/The_Complete_Storyville_Broadcasts_2014comma2_EJC.rar.html http://ssh.tf/RSbVwcJtZ/The_Complete_Storyville_Broadcasts_2014comma2_EJC.rar http://uploaded.net/file/n5bhnsw9/The_Complete_Storyville_Broadcasts_2014comma2_EJC.rar

Artist: The Early Years Title: II Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Sonic Cathedral Genre: Rock, Electronic, Psychedelia, Shoegaze Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 54:30 Total Size: 132 Mb Tracklist: 01. The Early Years - Nocturne (5:36) 02. The Early Years - Out of Signal (5:11) 03. The Early Years - Fluxus (5:21) 04. The Early Years - For the Fallen (9:24) 05. The Early Years - Hush (5:44) 06. The Early Years - Memory Case (5:45) Almost 10 years since they released their self-titled debut on Beggars Banquet, The Early Years return on September 23 with a brand new album called, simply, 'II'. It was recorded in their home studio in rural Cheshire before being mixed in Atlanta, Georgia by Jason Kingsland (Deerhunter) and mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Frank Arkwright (Mogwai, New Order). It's a record we have been trying to encourage for the best part of a decade, and it's well worth the wait. It's stunning; the sound of a band who have matured and relaxed into their playing, created without any external pressures or expectations. It is also more relevant now than ever, despite their long absence; it towers above the legions of kraut-psych bands who came along in their wake with the sheer scale of its scope and vision. Opener 'Nocturne' is a ferocious collision of man and machine: guitars sounding like Will Sergeant has moved to Neil Young's farm, Roland TB-303s squelching away and the wild-eyed energy of Julian Cope circa 'Fried'. Cope and the Bunnymen are reference points throughout, but it also takes in the elegiac New Order of 'Fluxus', the Dean Wareham duelling Tom Verlaine solos of 'Out Of Signal', the Spiritualized lullaby of 'Hush', and the Harmonia-meets-pre-definite-article-Verve of album closer 'Memory Case'. http://rapidgator.net/file/623dc8302d69d066313ad0474cdb7f45/teyt.rar.html http://ssh.tf/iFjNeTsQZ/teyt.rar http://uploaded.net/file/zt48zw9s/teyt.rar

Artist: Darren Rahn Title: Talk Of The Town Year Of Release: 2009 Label: Nu Groove Records Genre: Smooth Jazz Quality: FLAC (tracks) / MP3 Total Time: 50:14 min Total Size: 350 MB / 115 MB Tracklist: 01. Tale Of Two Cities [04:15] 02. What Cha' Gonna Do For Me [04:05] 03. Talk Of The Town [04:10] 04. Secret Crush [05:09] 05. Free To Be Me [04:00] 06. With You By My Side [04:34] 07. Our Love [03:56] Canadian born saxophonist Darren Rahn is in the music business since the mid-90's. His breakthrough was his work with Wayman Tisdale in 2004 on the 1 single, Ain't No Stopping Us Now. Since that time he heavily performed on stage with Brian Culbertson, Tim Bowman, Wayman Tisdale and a lot more of the smooth jazz scene. His debut album was released in 2007 on nuGroove Records entitled Once In A Lifetime. "Music is not just for me. If a song was just for me, then I really don't see the point of recording it on an album. The reason for my playing is to reach out and share with people. I want to take what is in my heart and really connect with the audience," comments Darren. Darren's new album Talk of the Town (2009) features the industry's top session players as Frank Selman (guitars), Mel Brown (bass), Michael White (drums)Jason Rahn (trumpet, flugelhorn), Nate Harasim (keyboards), Jason Atkins (vocals), Deborah Connors (vocals) and includes thoughtful collaborations with Bob James, Jeff Lorber, Wayman Tisdale, Tim Bowman and others. The album starts with Tale Of Two Cities. Mel Brown and Michael White are parti[beeep]ting in this tune, two very in demand sidemen, as I showcased in my previous reviews. Darren presents an energetic song with great overdub technique. What Cha' Gonna Do For Me was one of Chaka Khan's greatest hits in 1981 scoring to #1 on the Billboard charts. Wayman Tisdale and Darren Rahn renew their hit-connection with that terrific cover. Talk Of The Town brings a funky note to the album. A staggering increase of rhythm and melody makes this tune to a breathtaking manifest. Secret Crush features key-wizard Jeff Lorber in a mesmerizing piano solo. Free To Be Me is Jeff's second appearance with additional Moog and Wurlitzer support. Darren Rahn follows the path of Dave Koz, Richard Elliot and other smooth jazz epigones. With You By My Side features jazz guitarist Tim Bowman in a sultry and romantic tune. I call it a fireside song. Romance is still a great factor in smooth jazz. Forget Me Nots is a 1982 hit recording by R&B singer/songwriter Patrice Rushen. Still today's Patrice performs this song especially together with guitarist Lee Ritenour (Smoke 'n Mirrors). Darren Rahn's rendition is a first canap?? of the new formation De'Nate' (Darren Rahn, Deborah Connors and Nate Harasim). Darren takes the lead role while Deborah sings the background vocals. Tell Me What You Want is Darren's reference to Urban jazz. I love Jason Atkins raw vocals. Easy Does It is certainly a highlight of this album because of Bob James' brilliant piano solo. I wish it would be a little bit longer. Duplicity features Jason Rahn on trumpet and flugelhorn. Jason duets with his brother in a brassy interaction. Both are popular sidemen on productions of Michael Manson, Eric Darius, Dave Sereny and more. Daryl Hall and John Oates composed their big hit I Can't Go For That in 1981.One of the first pop hits to feature a drum machine and an irresistible bass line. Darren's rendition is a strong echo of the old monster hit. The album ends with the fading Our Love. Massive sweetness. ~ smooth-jazz.de http://rapidgator.net/file/ac6166e4ff85d98aa6a310fe0074537a/TAOTT.rar.html http://ssh.tf/cfcpvn7UZ/TAOTT.rar http://uploaded.net/file/bn1vxse6/TAOTT.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/dd65e28d0fd94c71db4ad57b96e22f25/TAOTT320.rar.html http://ssh.tf/pLEuOqRtZ/TAOTT320.rar http://uploaded.net/file/24uiit7y/TAOTT320.rar

Artist: Daniil Trifonov, Philadelphia Orchestra, N??zet-S??guin Title: Rachmaninov Variations Year Of Release: 2015 Label: Deutsche Grammophon Genre: Classical, Piano Quality: FLAC (tracks) [24Bit/96kHz] Total Time: 01:19:43 Total Size: 1,27 GB (d.booklet) Recorded: Academy of Arts & Letters, New York City, 3/2015 (Chopin & Corelli Variations, Rachmaniana); Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Verizon Hall, Philadelphia, 3/2015 (Rhapsody) AllMusic Review by Blair Sanderson: While Sergey Rachmaninov is justly celebrated for his piano concertos and symphonies, his sets of variations shouldn't be overlooked, for they are among his most inventive and satisfying works. Russian pianist Danil Trifonov plays the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, the Variations on a Theme of Chopin, and the Variations on a Theme of Corelli on this 2015 Deutsche Grammophon release, and he offers his own special tribute to the composer in his solo piano suite, Rachmaniana. For the Rhapsody, Trifonov is joined by Yannick N??zet-S??guin and the Philadelphia Orchestra, an ensemble that counts historic performances with Rachmaninov as part of its heritage, and plays with its characteristic lush sound and passionate expression. Trifonov is brilliant and precise in the Rhapsody, collaborating fully with the orchestra and sharing the spotlight as much as possible in such a showpiece. Yet in the solo variations, he is able to stretch out and demonstrate his gift for deeply expressive playing, as well as a talent for fantasy in his own composition. The reproduction throughout this CD is transparent and finely detailed, though the Rhapsody offers the most vibrant and spacious sound.
