Bad Suns blended the angsty songwriting influence of these legends with a more contemporary look into hook-heavy indie rock to form the basis of their extremely catchy sound. Their early days were spent polishing their live show with performances at the CMJ festival as well as opening for better-known acts. An EP entitled Transpose materialized in early 2014 on the Vagrant label, which also released Language & Perspective, the group's full-length debut, in the summer of that year. "Love Need And Want You" was successfully sampled on "Dilemma" by Nelly and Kelly Rowland. Re-Mastered from the Original Master Tapes by Sean Brennan, at Battery Studio's, New York. I'm In Love Again is the sixth solo album released by American recording artist Patti LaBelle in late 1983. Notable for LaBelle's first solo Top Ten Hits, "If Only You Knew" and "Love, Need And Want You", it became LaBelle's first successful solo album after five previous releases and six years. Most of LaBelle's 1982 recordings included live instrumentation and strings while 1983 recordings had producers experimenting with electronics, showcasing the lengthy year in recording. LaBelle also experimented with jazz music, covering the standard, "Lover Man (Oh, Where Can You Be?)" A synthpop track, "I'll Never, Never Give Up", was one of the final songs recorded for the album, and which included funk and gospel elements plus a male backup vocal chorus. Another song overdubbed from initial sessions of The Spirit's in It was "Love Bankrupt", which included strong country elements. Going over material, the album's executive producers Gamble & Huff picked the mid-tempo, string-laden "If Only You Knew", as the "one with the most hit potential", issuing "I'll Never, Never Give Up" as its B-side to dance clubs. The album launched two singles - "If Only You Knew" and "Love, Need And Want You". It's truly a soul classic, flawless, with silky moments on the album. Crossroads Paul Taylor grew up in Denver, where he took up the saxophone at the age of seven. He played in school bands, and in high school joined a Top 40 band called Mixed Company. Jazz keyboardist Keiko Matsui and her husband, producer Kazu Matsui, discovered him playing at the Catalina Island Jazz Festival and hired him to play in their band. He spent two years with them, and then Kazu Matsui produced his 1995 debut album, On the Horn, which reached the jazz charts and spawned a radio hit in "Til We Meet Again." Pleasure Seeker, his second album, followed in 1997 and was equally successful. Taylor released his third album, Undercover, on Peak/N-Coded Music in February 2000. Also in 2000, he toured as a special guest artist with the Rippingtons. Subsequent albums Hypnotic (2001), Steppin' Out (2003), Nightlife (2005), and Ladies' Choice (2007), all issued by Peak Records, figured high in the contemporary jazz charts, with Ladies' Choice going all the way to number one. Peak released Taylor's eighth album, Burnin', in 2009. Two years later, Taylor returned with the album Prime Time.
