St Louis Woman (Live) (6:29) Personnel: Boo Boo Davis - vocals, harmonica John Gerritse - drums Jan Mittendorp - guitar So far all of Boo Boo's records were cut in one take live in the studio, but without an audience. This is the first time we have released a record that is recorded live WITH an audience. Boo Boo, John and Jan are not famous for playing soft or subtle but sometimes they really take it down if the situation asks for it. Cafe de Amer is a small barn in the middle of nowhere in the north of Holland. Over the last twenty years this place has become a famous stage where musicians from all over the world come to play for music fans from all over the country. The place holds a maximum of 100 people and the distance between the musicians and the audience is less then 3 feet. Over the years Boo Boo has become a regular and this was his sixth show in De Amer. The recordings for this release are made with just one stereo microphone in the middle of a completely packed room. http://rapidgator.net/file/4b39e555bc543ba16f59bef1f9133b03/BooBooDavisUnplugged2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/2PNNtWRug/BooBooDavisUnplugged2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/8nkv14fz/BooBooDavisUnplugged2016.rar

  4. Artist: Bobby Short Title: Late Night at the Cafe Carlyle Year Of Release: 1992 Label: Telarc Genre: Jazz / Vocal Jazz Quality: Mp3 / 320kbps Total Time: 56:16 min Total Size: 129 MB Tracklist --------- 01. Do I Hear You Saying 'I Love You'? 02. Tea for Two 03. Night and Day 04. Too Marvelous for Words 05. Love Is Here to Stay 06. Drop Me Off in Harlem 07. Body and Soul 08. After You, Who? 17. Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye After more than three decades, off and on, Bobby Short moved from Atlantic Records to the audiophile Telarc label, which wisely began the new association by tracking him to his lair, the Cafe Carlyle of the Carlyle Hotel on Manhattan's Upper East Side, where he had been entertaining patrons for a quarter-century. Captured over three nights in June 1991, the 66-year-old singer/pianist presented a ballad set appropriate to the "late night" billing of the title. He doesn't worry about repeating tracks from his many modest sellers for Atlantic, revisiting Rodgers & Hart's "Do I Hear You Saying 'I Love You'" (first heard on Speaking of Love in 1958) at the outset, and also including new versions of the Gershwins' "Love Is Here to Stay," Cole Porter's "I Get a Kick out of You," and the standard "Body and Soul," all of which have graced previous discs. It doesn't matter, of course. Short was more a live performer than a recording artist, despite his extensive catalog, and his job was to give you heartfelt, animated, and sophisticated readings of evergreens like "Night and Day," "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," and "Too Marvelous for Words" (the last of which, come to think of it, he did previously on the home video At the Carlyle, filmed in the late '70s and released in 1986). Telarc was studious about getting a digital signal direct to disc, resulting in great clarity, all the better to hear the glasses clink during quiet passages. The album was released on the label's jazz division and Donald Elfman's liner notes use the word "jazz" frequently. But of course Short, who bills himself as "a saloon singer," was no more a jazz artist than ever, even though he obligingly threw in an instrumental version of Duke Ellington's "Satin Doll" on which bassist Beverly Peer and drummer Robert Scott get to do solos. (The marketing strategy worked, however. The album earned a placing in Billboard's jazz chart.) ~ William Ruhlmann Personnel: Bobby Short (vocals, piano); Robert Scott (drums); Beverly Peer (bass). http://rapidgator.net/file/4dfa289dacf907fd627a5033823fe030/BobbyShortCafeCarlyle.rar.html http://ssh.tf/gSWyn3pug/BobbyShortCafeCarlyle.rar http://uploaded.net/file/bur66tun/BobbyShortCafeCarlyle.rar

  6. Artist: John Sheridan's Dream Band Title: Hooray For Christmas! Year Of Release: 2010 Label: Arbors Records Genre: Jazz, Xmas Quality: 320 kbps Total Time: 65:04 Total Size: 156 MB Tracklist: 1. Hooray For Christmas! (Feat. Rebecca Kilgore) (4:26) 2. Pocketful Of Miracles (6:48) 3. The Holiday Season (3:32) 4. Christmas Will Be A Little Lonely This Year (4:58) 5. A Song For Christmas (4:04) 11. Little Jack Frost Get Lost (2:40) 12. The Difficult Season (6:23) 13. Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town (5:23) There's a certain sameness to many Christmas CDs because so many artists focus on a relatively small group of carols and standards of the season, but that isn't the case with Hooray for Christmas! Pianist John Sheridan formed his Dream Band after leaving his work as a sideman with Jim Cullum's Jazz Band, and he recruited one of his favorite singers, Rebecca Kilgore (who is a regular guest on his CDs), for this project, while he has shared the stage with many of the musicians at various jazz parties, including cornetists Randy Reinhart and Warren Vach??, trombonist Dan Barrett, and clarinetists Dan Block and Ron Hockett, among others. The upbeat "Hooray for Christmas!" was penned by Don Sebesky and it serves as a perfect opener, showcasing Kilgore's warm vocals. The forgotten gem "Pocketful of Miracles" features a delightful trombone conversation between Barrett and Russ Phillips. Guitarist Eddie Erickson is the featured vocalist in the witty "Christmas Blues," while Kilgore is on hand for Dave Frishberg's bittersweet "The Difficult Season." Kilgore's romantic touch is evident in her lovely interpretation of "I Know Why and So Do You." The swinging "Cool Yule" was penned by the prolific pianist/composer/author/television star Steve Allen, with Kilgore's snappy vocal backed by the swinging horn section. Sheridan wrote the lovely, touching ballad "Christmas Will Be a Little Lonely This Year," backing Kilgore's sensitive vocal with elegant piano and Vach?? adding a touching muted solo, as the remainder of the band sits this one out. This is one Christmas CD that will stand the test of time without growing stale. ~by Ken Dryden http://rapidgator.net/file/e54050397c715921689b1080f397b6fd/JohnSheridanChristmas2010.rar.html http://ssh.tf/S8gUFzopg/JohnSheridanChristmas2010.rar http://uploaded.net/file/pbs55dts/JohnSheridanChristmas2010.rar

Call On Me (2:29) Bobby Bland, often known as Bobby 'Blue' Bland, was one of the best blues, R&B and soul singers of the post-war era, recognized as one of the finest interpreters of blues-influenced songs, comparable within his genre to the likes of Frank Sinatra in the broader popular spectrum. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame described him as second in stature only to B.B. King as a product of Memphis's Beale Street blues scene. He enjoyed chart success right through until the 1980s, but this extensive collection of his formative decade and more includes all his R&B No. 1s plus other landmark recordings. He recorded initially with Roscoe Gordon for both Modern and Chess before joining the Duke label, and this great-value 56-track 2 CD set comprises the A and B sides of all his Duke singles through until 1962, plus selected sides from his early releases with Roscoe Gordon. It features the R&B No. 1s "Farther Up The Road", "I Pity The Fool" and "That's The Way Love Is", plus other Top 10 classics such as "I'll Take Care Of You", "Don't Cry No More", "Turn On Your Love Light" and the iconic "Stormy Monday Blues". It's a fine showcase for a unique and highly regarded talent. /Amazon http://rapidgator.net/file/1f6f866c0610b9ad0c979d2b6def4517/BobbyBlandSinglesCD12016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/M9mUDacug/BobbyBlandSinglesCD12016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/v79gbsjj/BobbyBlandSinglesCD12016.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/8e4ff6ec248316280e224b4fa28a561f/BobbyBlandSinglesCD22016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/W1r5H1fug/BobbyBlandSinglesCD22016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/chthtrnp/BobbyBlandSinglesCD22016.rar
  10. Artist: Wycliffe Gordon, Jay Leonhart Title: This Rhythm On My Mind Year Of Release: 2007 Label: Bluesback Records Genre: Jazz / Vocal Jazz Quality: Mp3 / 320kbps Total Time: 55:57 min Total Size: 126 MB Tracklist --------- 01. Rhythm On My Mind 02. Problem 03. I Want My Blooz Back 04. Mr Leonhart Mr Gordon 05. Mood Indigo 06. Toast My Bread 07. Eddie Harris (Freedom Jazz Dance) 08. Missin Rb Blues 09. Lester Leaps In 10. All Alone 11. Little Honey 12. Lucky Day 13. Home For Supper "Fun" is a word that one seldom hears in connection with jazz anymore. It's a word that easily describes Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Cab Calloway and many others who reigned supreme during jazz' pre-bop era, but the more jazz moved in a generally intellectual direction in the 1950s, '60s, '70s and '80s -- the more jazz musicians sought to be associated with "high art" rather than pop culture -- the less fun jazz' image became. But the word "fun" is most definitely applicable on This Rhythm on My Mind, a Wycliffe Gordon/Jay Leonhart collaboration that also includes tenor saxmen Wayne Escoffery and Harry Allen (not to be confused with the hip-hop journalist) and percussionist Jim Saporito. Although trombonist Gordon and acoustic bassist Leonhart are primarily instrumentalists, this 2006 date is vocal-oriented; Gordon and Leonhart both contribute to the album's vocals, and their fondness for the vocal styles of Armstrong and Waller is hard to miss -- which is not to say that This Rhythm on My Mind has a totally pre-bebop mindset. Actually, this 56-minute CD is more bop than anything, and bop vocalists like Babs Gonzales and Jon Hendricks are an influence along with Armstrong and Waller. An album that was strictly pre-Charlie Parker in its approach would not include Eddie Harris' "Freedom Jazz Dance," which is a welcome part of the program along with material ranging from Gordon and Leonhart originals to Lester Young's "Lester Leaps In" and Duke Ellington's "Mood Indigo" (two well-known standards that came out of swing but have been used for bop and post-bop purposes time and time again). This Rhythm on My Mind is not the most essential disc that either Gordon and Leonhart have contributed to, but it's a consistently enjoyable and good-natured demonstration of the fact that jazz -- for all its complexity and intellectualism -- can still have fun. ~Alex Henderson http://rapidgator.net/file/0c7788052b6d8b7687b834841abf4a8a/WycliffeGordonMyMind.rar.html http://ssh.tf/dAVqm3edg/WycliffeGordonMyMind.rar http://uploaded.net/file/jq8vi8hu/WycliffeGordonMyMind.rar

Willie Dixon's playing and singing comes from the bottoms of Mississippi River. Although recorded legacy of Mr. Dixon is rich and of top standards, inimitable and imperishable like the waters of the ocean. With some fantastic piano work by Lafayette Leake, one of the most underrated artists in Blues history, with Carey Bell's tornado-like harp blowing, and solid contribution from young Buster Benton, this musical outing could be considered the work constituting international Blues legacy. This album is situated in a different dimension where usual categories could not be used. Just absorb it, there is so few of such high-quality music left. ~Dimitri Personnel: Willie Dixon - bass, vocals; Carey Bell - harmonica, vocals; Lafayette Leake - piano; Buster Benton - guitar, vocals; Unknown drums. http://rapidgator.net/file/de1f6371b7e4491dcfdc1fac8321f664/WillieDixonAtlanta2012.rar.html http://ssh.tf/ZrRs87qdg/WillieDixonAtlanta2012.rar http://uploaded.net/file/90st0fvb/WillieDixonAtlanta2012.rar

I'm Your Man '96 The Best of Wham!: If You Were There... is the second UK-released compilation, released in 1997 to summarize the career of British pop duo Wham!. It peaked at number 4 on the UK Albums Chart. The end of the album features a hidden track that was first heard on their debut album, Fantastic. Many Wham! fans consider this compilation vastly inferior to the band's previous compilation, 1986's The Final, not only due to the non-inclusion of "Bad Boys", but also discarding "Careless Whisper" and "A Different Corner". Although the latter two songs were credited as George Michael solo singles, they did appear on official Wham! studio albums. This compilation was compiled by George Michael to present the band as more serious artists and to draw connections with his solo career. As a result of his endorsement of it, it is more widely available than The Final.~Wikipedia http://rapidgator.net/file/d2b9e6773ad25ade2015b58a9a26cde9/Wham.rar.html http://ssh.tf/XlyVya0dg/Wham.rar http://uploaded.net/file/803cwtt9/Wham.rar

  18. Artist: Waitin' On Hayden Title: Doin' What We Do (2016) Year Of Release: 2016 Label: Self Produced Genre: Country/Blues/Americana Quality: MP3 320 Kbps Total Time: 41:19 Total Size: 100 MB Tracklist: 1. Lonesome Road (3:16) 2. Bar On University (5:35) 3. Doin' What We Do (5:15) 4. That Girl (3:25) 5. All Night Long (3:58) 6. You Should Be Mine (3:50) 7. I Pick 10 (5:43) 8. Broken Glass And Stolen Signs (4:49) 9. One Way Road (5:23) Many years ago, two brothers from the small town of La Vernia, Texas, Rusty and Darrell, had a vision of starting a band, but were always told that it was an unreasonable dream, and that they would never succeed. However, one day Rusty decided to travel down that road, regardless of the outcome, and bought an old guitar and an amp from a friend and began teaching himself how to play. Before long, Darrell decided to start learning to play as well, and after a few months and another second hand guitar purchase, a two piece band was formed. "I bought an old 4 string bass guitar from a pawn shop and learned how to play it." said Rusty, "Darrell and I used to sit out in the back yard on Saturday nights at our parents house and play til our mom would get mad at us for being too loud". After a few years of playing together the duo decided to take the band to the next level and eventually brought in their good friend Hayden Krueger as a lead guitarist, who brought a much needed level of skill to the band with his blues and southern rock influenced style of playing. Shortly afterwards they ran into long time friend Dalton Dennehy while playing guitars at a party, who decided to play the bass for the band despite never playing one before. Quickly the band doubled in size, but still needed to find a drummer, which proved to be an arduous task. The band went through a handful of drummers that all ended up dropping out. One in particular had a decent practice studio set up in his garage, and despite the fact that he lived on the other side of San Antonio, his garage had air conditioning, and so the band would make the hour drive across town to practice on Sunday afternoons one summer. Since the drive was long, they would all meet up at Rusty and Darrell's house, and ride together. However they were usually always mending hangovers from the previous night's events, and found themselves waiting for hours on Hayden to show up, causing them to never be on time. After several occurrences, and jokingly saying when asked, "waitin' on Hayden", again and again the band decided that phrase made a very unique name for the group, which ended their desperate search for a band name. The band eventually ended up once again without a drummer, but happened to know a friend by the name of Doug Lewis, who hadn't been in a touring band in over three years. After a sunday afternoon tryout jam session the band had made a choice to have Doug as their full time drummer, and finally the band was complete. Until one evening, while doing a live practice session, they ran into an issue with the terribly under powered PA system. With a lack of experience, and an abumdance of drive, they pushed the budget system past it's limits, and ended up losing the entire set up. However, their good friend, Ben Stanush witnessed the disaster, and offered a reasonable solution to the problem. The band managed to round up donors from the community to help fund a suitable system, and with Ben having enough knowledge of technology to properly run everything, the band had finally found someone to sculpt their sound for live performances. As the band started getting more busy with playing shows, it had become a hassle to keep up with marketing, and after there good friend Dariel Raygoza sat in studio with the band one weekend with a go-pro camera recording behind the scenes action, the band decided to bring him in for social media marketing. Dariel also doubles as the band's keyboard player. With months of trial and error practice, the band Waitin' On Hayden, has become a local favorite, playing at several venues and events in the area. With a wide range of instrumental and vocal talent, the band plays many styles of music from Merle Haggard to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Be sure to come see them play. You won't be disappointed. http://rapidgator.net/file/745dbde13bf992bdea39242ebafd69ad/Waitin__On_Hayden_-_Doin__What_We_Do_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/q7lqTFjdg/Waitin__On_Hayden_-_Doin__What_We_Do_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/dg8bqoq4/Waitin__On_Hayden_-_Doin__What_We_Do_2016.rar

He won first prize at the Concertina International Competition in Prague at 15, an award that later led him to enroll in the Moscow Conservatory. After winning first prize at the Marguerite Long Competition in Paris, he felt he was ready to perform with the major Soviet orchestras and at music festivals in the USSR. During this time, Feltsman performed recitals in Eastern Europe, France, Italy, Belgium and Japan. In the summer of 1987, Feltsman arrived in the United States after finally receiving permission to leave the Soviet Union. During the 1996-97 season, he performed with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of conductor Kurt Masur. His recitals and concerts include works from Bach as well as new contemporary music. Feltsman's repertoire concentrates on music from the German tradition but does not fail to include other new genres. His vibrant, individualistic style of interpretations has made Feltsman an internationally known and respected pianist. http://rapidgator.net/file/911dae94fbd54fdc82e4f588a5167240/-9814VF316flac.rar.html http://ssh.tf/4e9IAding/-9814VF316flac.rar http://uploaded.net/file/vpoqpl86/-9814VF316flac.rar

Steve Oliver) Connecticut-born saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Vincent Ingala makes warm, soulful, smooth jazz and R&B. A musical prodigy, Ingala started out on drums at age four and was teaching himself Elvis Presley songs on the guitar by the third grade. However, it was the tenor saxophone, an instrument Ingala gravitated toward while also studying piano in the fifth grade, that became his passion. Growing up in a large Italian family in Prospect, Connecticut, Ingala was exposed to his family's love of soul, jazz, and R&B. Inspired to play, Ingala began performing locally and eventually drew the attention of professional players, including smooth jazz star Dave Koz, who invited the then-16-year-old Ingala to join him on-stage. A year later, he recorded his first album, 2010's North End Soul. Ingala toured extensively behind the album and quickly built a loyal fan base. Two years later, he returned with his sophomore release, Can't Stop Now, which became two Billboard Top Five singles, and in 2015, Ingala returned with his third studio effort, Coast to Coast, inspired by his move to California. http://rapidgator.net/file/5155a78efc3919058e02ac6e70411097/-9586VIC16.rar.html http://ssh.tf/v3zDWpftg/-9586VIC16.rar http://uploaded.net/file/zaxi1nae/-9586VIC16.rar

And yet, for all of their successes, their story is a simple one that begins with little more than a teacher, a student, and a shared passion for music in general and jazz in particular. Joan Chamorro was born in Barcelona in September 1962. He spent his childhood listening to pop music, but didn't start focusing on classical music and jazz until he began playing the saxophone and guitar at age 18. He attended the Taller de Musics, a music school in Barcelona devoted to jazz. After four years, he gave up classical music and the guitar and focused his efforts entirely on jazz and the saxophone. In addition to playing and recording with the Taller de Musics, Chamorro also played live gigs with several local big bands. "I was very lucky to be a part of this scene," he recalls, "and to have the chance to play with great soloists from some very popular big bands." In the years since he received his music degree, Chamorro has played with numerous high-profile musicians from around the world: Stevie Wonder, Manhattan Transfer, Slide Hampton, Randy Brecker, and recorded with Tete Montoliu, Bebo Valdes, and many others. "It is always great to share experiences and music with such a great cast of international musicians," he says. "And it's an amazing opportunity to grow as an artist." In the midst of these various collaborations, Chamorro has also directed the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, a group in Barcelona made up of children and teenagers between the ages of 9 and 20. It was here that he first met Andrea Motis, an 11-year-old trumpeter who was also one of his saxophone students. "She was always a very serious student," Chamorro recalls. "One day I was teaching the band and I asked if anyone wanted to sing a song, and she was the first and only one who said yes. She was 13 years old by this time. From the very beginning, I heard something special in her voice, something that could be improved if she were given the opportunity to learn and grow in the company of good musicians. I talked with her parents, and everyone agreed that she would be part of my various music projects." By this young age, Motis had already been immersed in music of every kind. She'd been playing the trumpet since age 7, and her earliest musical memories include Charlie Mingus (one of her father's favorite musicians) as well as Cuban jazz. By age 10, she starts exploring just about every form of American jazz until nowadays listening to great American female vocalists such as Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holliday and Nancy Wilson, also C??cile McLorin Salvant, Amy Winehouse, Esperanza Spalding, Gretchen Parlato and instrumentalists such as Tom Harrell, Roy Hargrove, Wynton Marsalis, Perico Sambeat as well as iconic jazz artists like Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Clifford Brown. "The first time I sang in public was for Chamorro's audition at the Taller de Music school," says Motis. "I sang a Basin Street blues number that Joan later uploaded to the internet. After that, he invited me to sing on his album." The album was Joan Chamorro Presenta Andrea Motis, released in 2010 when Motis was 14. As the title suggests, the album is a showcase for Chamorro's young prot??g?? who plays trumpet, saxophone and sings throughout the recording. "We recorded a lot of songs in different ways," says Motis. "While deciding the final album repertoire we realized that we liked most of the songs that were sung. That's why Joan thought of the album as a way to introduce me as a musician and singer, because my role turned out to be more important than we had originally thought it would be." In the final cut of the album, Motis sings on 16 of the 17 tracks. "She showed a great sensibility and a capacity to share emotions," says Chamorro. "There was a great natural quality in every song we recorded." The project proved to be an extremely valuable learning experience. Motis recalls: "It gave me the opportunity to play for the first time with amazing musicians such as Ignasi Terraza, Josep Traver, Eseve Pi, Dani Alonso and Bobby Gordon, and American clarinetist who played with all the great classic jazz artists before he died." Feeling Good, a recording of live performances throughout Barcelona, followed in 2012. Two years after the first album, Motis had grown and matured as a musician and a vocalist. "This was the point where she started improvising, and it's reflected in the CD, where all of her solos are entirely hers," says Chamorro. "I trusted her knowledge and encouraged her to improvise during our shows too. We were performing a lot at that time and it was a good time to practice that. It was amazing to see her progression in every rehearsal and every show."Their third recording, Live in Jamboree Barcelona, captured the band during their three appearances at the Barcelona music festival with guest saxophonist Scott Hamilton. "The thing flowed so smoothly," says Motis. "We played new songs and some others that were in our previous repertoire. We felt truly at ease playing the music. It was a very special experience and I was truly happy with the final result." Chamorro and Motis recorded yet another live big band performance this time on video as well as audio in 2014 at the Barcelona International Jazz Festival. The CD/DVD package is scheduled for release in August 2014. The majority of the repertoire in the upcoming release by The Motis Chamorro Big Band is sung by Motis, but Chamorro's baritone sax and Motis's trumpet also figure prominently in the mix."This project includes the very best musicians in the Barcelona jazz scene," says Chamorro. "Many of them are excellent soloists who play an important role in the tracks on which they play." In addition to their extensive work in the Barcelona scene, The Motis Chamorro Group has also played numerous festivals in France, Switzerland, Brazil and Turkey. "Andrea and I are doing the best we can to share our music with as many people as possible," says Chamorro. "Who knows what we'll be doing in the future, or where we'll be doing it? But I do envision a beautiful future for her. She is already a well known artist, and she will be even more well know in years to come. She deserves it. She has a great talent, ability and magic necessary to do so. All of this comes from the things that I think are most important: honesty, authenticity and humility." "I'm very happy to be collaborating in new musical projects, experimenting with new styles," says Motis. "And as Joan says: 'Creativity has no bounds or limits.' We have so many projects and opportunities, and the chance to collaborate with so many artists. Maintaining this vibe is the best that I can hope for right now and for the future. We'll see!" http://rapidgator.net/file/9d9f8856775252514124cd9745c5de98/AndreaMotisLiveFuster.rar.html http://ssh.tf/mMBwh5d3g/AndreaMotisLiveFuster.rar http://uploaded.net/file/tlqm2gz9/AndreaMotisLiveFuster.rar
