Cinesamples African Marimba and Udu KONTAKT | 143 Mb The African Marimba and Udu is a collection of sampled African instruments recorded at the world famous MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles. This instrument features a new SOFT ATTACK slider that softens the onset of each note. The African Marimba also features a roll generator similar to that in the Dulcimer and Zither library. When the mod wheel is set to a value higher than 0, the patch plays a roll with dynamics controlled by the modwheel. This can be combined with the SOFT ATTACK feature to create interesting textures and pads. The Udu is a unique clay pot also recorded at the MGM Scoring Stage. It includes a SOFT ATTACK feature which softens the onset of each hit. The SAMPLE START slider changes the rhythmic feel of the instrument. With the slider all the way down, it has a looser feel and a more realistic sound because it includes a bit of "air" before the transient. With the slider about halfway up it has a tighter feel - better for live performance. With the slider all the way up, the instrument has an almost ambient sound, as the samples are starting slightly after the recorded hit. We have sampled this instrument with true legato intervals all the way up to the octave, and, like the bansuri, have artificially filled in the notes which actually are not possible to play on the instrument physically. There are multiple keyswitches, arranged so you can choose the first note of a phrase, and alter the experssion of notes throughout a phrase as you play, allowing for an extremely human like sound. Aria Sounds LSS Solo Strings - Solo Violin KONTAKT | 2.73 Gb This is the individual solo violin instrument from our "LSS Solo Strings" sample library bundle, which also replaces our previous solo violin, and is not even comparable in quality. We have sampled the instrument in a large beautiful London concert hall, with many microphones, making up four main, mixable mic perspectives, close mono, close pair, mid room and far room. Three legato modes were sampled - slurred, bowed and portamento. These are easily switchable during use via keyswitches, and one exceptionally useful feature, which we are shocked to say we rarely see in string libraries, is the ability to change bow on the same note. Simply hold the note you want to change bow on, and press the low G keyswitch. Staccato and whole tone trills are also included, with the staccatos having 24 variations per note so as to never sound repetitive - also switchable via keyswitch. Another feature included is the ability to alter the release sound when the final note is played and released. A soft release is a normal removal of the bow from the string, but through keyswitching, you can also select hard release, which triggers a hard release. This is the sound of a player ending the note with a sharp crescendo and quick accented lift of the bow. Aria Sounds London Solo Double Bass KONTAKT | 2.54 Gb The "Solo Double Bass" is the fourth and final installment in our "LSS Solo Strings" Sample Library Bundle, complete with the same fantastic features as the rest of the LSS Solo Strings. Three legato modes were sampled - slurred, bowed and portamento. These are easily switchable during use via keyswitches, and one exceptionally useful feature, which we are shocked to say we rarely see in string libraries, is the ability to change bow on the same note. Simply hold the note you want to change bow on, and press the low G keyswitch. Staccato and whole tone trills are also included, with the staccatos having 24 variations per note so as to never sound repetitive - also switchable via keyswitch. Another feature included is the ability to alter the release sound when the final note is played and released. A soft release is a normal removal of the bow from the string, but through keyswitching, you can also select hard release, which triggers a hard release. This is the sound of a player ending the note with a sharp crescendo and quick accented lift of the bow.
