We didn't realize that the music we loved was being covered by our favorite bands, and only later did we start mining the history of the Blues to discover the original artists and songwriters. When The Suspects started playing together, we naturally gravitated toward the originators of the soundtrack of our youth, and began re-interpreting those songs in a way that felt right for us.
