Middle of the Night Mind 11. Sun Will Rise Before launching her dual careers as pop-minded songwriter and television actress, Kate Voegele grew up outside Cleveland in the suburban locale of Bay Village, Ohio, where she began singing in her church choir at age ten. Though her father often played guitar during his daughter's childhood, it wasn't until she entered high school that Voegele first picked up the instrument with any serious intent. Spurred on by a teenage breakup, she began to write pop/rock songs while seeking musical guidance from her father, who decided to record her work. One of those demos managed to find its way into the hands of a Warner Bros. representative at a Michelle Branch concert, and soon Voegele had garnered some major-label interest, particularly from Madonna's own Maverick Records. In 2003, the burgeoning musician recorded a five-song EP entitled The Other Side with help from producer Michael Seifert. Before long, Voegele had landed performances alongside the likes of John Mayer and Counting Crows, which led to a wider array of opportunities: a stint at Farm Aid in Seattle, inclusion in the Women in Rock set at South by Southwest, and numerous label showcases around Cleveland. In the fall of 2006, the college-aged Voegele was officially signed to MySpace Records, a new label that issued her full-length debut, Don't Look Away, the following spring. Despite receiving accolades from organizations such as the New York Songwriter's Circle, Voegele struggled to assemble a loyal following until 2008, when she landed a recurring role on the TV sitcom One Tree Hill. By playing the role of Mia Catalano -- a young songwriter on the cusp of a solo career -- Voegele was able to promote her own music aggressively on the show, resulting in an upsurge of attention that helped jump-start the sales of Don't Look Away (which was subsequently reissued, this time in partnership with Interscope Records). Voegele remained with the show during the following season, during which time she also found enough leeway to record her sophomore effort, A Fine Mess. The album was released in May 2009, aided in part by a concurrent story line on One Tree Hill that saw Mia Catalano releasing her own album as well. A Fine Mess hit the Top Ten of the Billboard 200 chart, a feat not replicated by 2011's Gravity Happens, though its leadoff single, "Heart in Chains," was performed on the TV show by Mia. After leaving One Tree Hill in 2011, Voegele moved from Los Angeles to Nashville and refocused on her music career, self-releasing the EP Wild Card in 2014. http://rapidgator.net/file/a6b21da4c08e15fbcf4ef48b646a10cd/-9440KV16.rar.html http://ssh.tf/FHDBdrlCF/-9440KV16.rar http://uploaded.net/file/lxif7oio/-9440KV16.rar

  3. Artist: Karsten Nelson Title: In the Ground Year Of Release: 2014 Label: Karsten Nelson Genre: Roots Rock, Folk Rock, Indie Rock, Singer-Songwriter Quality: Mp3/320 kbps Total Time: 43:21 Total Size: 109 Mb Tracklist: 1. Ball of Flames 2. Breaking News 3. Whiskey Kisses 4. Brighter Days 5. Spent 6. One to Tell 7. Take Me Down 8. Grace 9. As I Am 10. Lament in C 11. Forever Bound Born in Germany to a military family and raised on a gravel road in Kentucky, Karsten Nelson has flown under the radar as a singer/songwriter for some time. For years he has made himself known in the Louisville, Ky area as an in demand freelance guitarist/bassist and private music instructor. Playing everywhere from concert halls, bars, and even a cruise ship, Karsten cut his teeth as a performer accompanying many other singer/songwriters and bands. Growing tired of slugging it out in bars and playing covers for tips, he yearned to reach people at a higher level. He wanted to challenge, he wanted to speak. Writing began for his debut record "In The Ground" which was released in March of 2014. "In The Ground" was recorded at Kevin Ratterman's (My Morning Jacket, Jim James) La La Land studio. Influences of older artists: Springsteen, Petty, U2, as well as more contemporary, Dawes, The Lone Bellow, and the Avett Brothers can be heard throughout the record. Karsten writes songs that are meant to both challenge and inspire people to embrace life's possibility and struggles. He is looking forward to touring and reaching people with his music. http://rapidgator.net/file/44e85050a2acb5dffc70b8e45a7dec8f/knitg.rar.html http://ssh.tf/IsNbwbIFL/knitg.rar http://uploaded.net/file/enhw5n1e/knitg.rar
  4. Artist: Karl Densons Tiny Universe Title: Brothers Keeper Year Of Release: 2009 Label: Shanachie Genre: Funk / Jam Band Quality: FLAC (tracks) / MP3 Total Time: 48:49 min Total Size: 301 MB / 111 MB Tracklist: 01. Shake It Out [03:41] 02. Where It Counts [03:59] 03. The Drums of War [05:22] 04. Brother's Keeper, Pt.1 [04:23] 05. Brother's Keeper, Pt.2 [03:29] 06. Mighty Rebel [06:17] 07. Monica [03:53] 08. Expressions [03:46] 09. Empty Soul [03:54] 10. Take It Down [05:38] 11. Just Got Paid [04:23] Karl Denson's Brother's Keeper is his initial Shanachie offering and revives his longstanding Tiny Universe outfit that went on recording hiatus in 2004. 2007 saw the release of the Karl Denson Trio's killer Lunar Orbit with just his saxophone, a Hammond B-3, and drums. The set offered a new sonic take on that classic jazz sound. Brother's Keeper, by contrast, features a full septet (with MeShell Ndegeocello on electric bass) augmented by a slew of guest musicians who include an expanded horn section and strings. The sound here is different than past Tiny Universe offerings. It's a very roots-oriented sound that, while not exactly enveloping the back-to-basics of funk and jazz, folds these into a brew that also includes soul, gospel, reggae, and club jazz. Denson wrote or co-wrote 10 of the set's 11 tunes, two of them with Switchfoot's lead singer Jon Foreman (the set opener and first single "Shake It Out," and "Mighty Rebel"). Foreman penned the stellar "The Drums of War," and co-producer David Veith helped Denson on "Just Got Paid." "Shake It Out" is the logical choice for a single because it is the closest thing to the classic sound of Tiny Universe. The sound of a Wurlitzer piano, fat bassline, tight snare and kick drum, and a handclap section that feels like it could have come right off either an old Motown record or something by Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, is all funked up. It's a pure rave-up with some killer rock guitar fills that add depth and dimension. Denson's vocal is right upfront, exhorting the listener to get out on the floor. "Where It Counts" is a more skeletal, nocturnal, soul-funk number with some beautiful horns that descend from the the J.B.'s, while the backing vocals come right out of the Philly International fakebook (there is also a beautiful flute solo by Denson to boot). The hinge piece on the album, however, is the two-part title track. It offers an aural view of Denson at his compositional best. We've never heard him -- on record anyway -- quite like this. Complex, elastic funk meets subdued, hypnotic Afro-beat and a straight-up soul melody, turned inside out through a gospel vocal chart complete with call-and-response chorus and jazz syncopation. There's a popping, knotty bassline that drives the rest of the instruments, and a dreamy horn arrangement. The drum breaks by Zak Najor are right upfront in the mix, pulling the listener into the track's uplifting message as Denson testifies: "Yes, I'm my brother's keeper." Part two brings the blues and a tough street reggae into the gumbo as well (with strings, no less!), expanding the whole mess instrumentally. "Mighty Rebel" is jazzed-up reggae, and "Monica" is a dubby, soul-kissed love song, while "Take It Down" is a pure neo-soul ballad that evokes both the sexiness of Leroy Hutson's work and the message-oriented songs of Bobby Womack's. Brother's Keeper is the most poignant album Denson has released to date; it's the most autobiographical and spiritual, as well. This is the work of a mature musician and thinker; and one that bears repeated listening because there is so much in this heady brew, it's impossible to take in all these killer grooves in one sitting. ~ Thom Jurek http://rapidgator.net/file/3ad7ca19d8fd77bea9111c2f0c58a3ec/BRKE.rar.html http://ssh.tf/iGViWggoL/BRKE.rar http://uploaded.net/file/tuthbxls/BRKE.rar

  6. Practical Arrangement 12. Les feux d'artifice t'appellent 13. The Birds Will Still Be Singing (Bonus Track) In So Many Things, Swedish mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter takes up many things indeed, from John Adams' moving operatic aria "Am I in Your Light?" to a unique setting of Lydia Davis' "For Sixty Cents," which features pizzicato strings and free-flowing lyricism. Mezzo-soprano Anne Sofie von Otter is known for her versatility in operatic roles, her interesting recital choices, and her willingness to take vocal risks. Her father was a Swedish diplomat whose career took the family to Bonn, London, and back to Stockholm while Anne Sofie was growing up. As a result, she gained fluency in several languages. She studied music at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Her main voice teacher was Vera Rozsa, while Erik Werba and Geoffrey Parsons coached her in lieder interpretation. She gained a contract with the Basle Opera in 1983 and remained there until 1985, debuting as Alcina in Haydn's Orlando Paladino. A tall, statuesque woman, she took several male roles written for mezzo-sopranos ("trouser roles"), including Cherubino in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro, H?¤nsel in Humperdinck's H?¤nsel und Gretel, Orpheus in Gluck's Orf??e et Eurydice, Octavian in Strauss' Rosenkavalier, the Composer in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos, and the title role of Rossini's Tancredi. One reason for the high proportion of Baroque- and Classical-era operas in her repertory is an important working relationship with conductor John Eliot Gardiner. She first auditioned for him in 1985, but failed to make an impression then. It was only with a subsequent chance for him to hear her that he began working with her. She has joined him in recordings of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony; Mozart's Clemenza di Tito, Idomeneo, and Requiem; Monteverdi's La favola d'Orfeo and L'incoronazione di Poppea; Handel's Agrippina and Jephtha; Gluck's Orf??e et Eurydice; and Bach's Christmas Oratorio and St. Matthew Passion. He also conducted von Otter's recording of Weill's Seven Deadly Sins and selected theater songs. Another major artistic partner is pianist Bengt Forsberg, her recital partner and a leading scholar of song literature. Von Otter relies on him to suggest songs and organize the programs of her recitals. With him, she has tended to specialize in lieder from the beginning and end of the Romantic period, including well-received recordings of songs by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Zemlinsky, Korngold, and Mahler as well as the late Romantic Nordic composers Grieg, Alfv??n, Rangstr??m, Stenhammar, and Sibelius. Other recordings include Terezin/Theresienstadt, music from the concentration camp; Love Songs by Brad Mehldau; and 2013's Douce France. When she came to record Weill's Seven Deadly Sins, she used the original version for high soprano, a range she possesses, rather than the once-traditional mezzo-soprano version made for Lotte Lenya late in that singer's career. Von Otter has also recorded Alban Berg's Seven Early Songs, another strain for many high sopranos. In addition, she is not averse to stretching her voice for dramatic effect. "I believe in shock effects," she once said in an interview. However, past the age of 40 she had some particularly bad experiences as a result of these two tendencies and, she admits, hurt her voice. As a result, she has decided to be "sensible" and transpose down. She and her husband, stage designer Benny Frederiksson, live in Stockholm with their two children. http://rapidgator.net/file/151a1af30a484b6b0bdc3ea4f6193367/-9425AO16flac.rar.html http://ssh.tf/Kbz5glUCF/-9425AO16flac.rar http://uploaded.net/file/w4gi552k/-9425AO16flac.rar
  7. Artist: Elaine Paige Title: Cinema Year Of Release: 1984 Label: WEA Records Ltd. (W-Germ.) Genre: Pop/Rock, Vocal, Stage & Screen, Ballad Quality: FLAC (img.+.cue+.log) Total Time: 44:16 Total Size: 300,74 Mb (Full Scans) Cinema is the fourth solo album by Elaine Paige. The album was released in 1984 on Warner Music, peaking at #12 in the UK album charts. This album has been re-issued on CD. It was the second of Paige's recordings to be produced by Tony Visconti. To follow the theme of Stages, Paige chose tracks that had been previously recorded for soundtracks. Like Stages, the recording was primarily conducted at Visconti's Good Earth Studios, other than for "Sometimes" (Theme from Champions) which had been previously recorded at CTS Studios, London featuring the New World Philharmonia. ~Wikipedia~ Following her hugely successful collection of theatrical songs, Britain's best theatrical singer looked to the cinema to provide songs for the next album. Elaine's own acting career did not encompass films so she simply chose songs that she wanted to sing and she picked some good ones. Here you will find Elaine's excellent covers of Windmills of your mind (from Thomas Crown affair), Out here on my own (from Fame), The prisoner (from Eyes of Laura Mars), Sometimes (from Champions), Do you know where you are going to (from Mahogany), Up where we belong (from An officer and a gentleman), Unchained melody (from Unchained), Bright eyes (from Watership down), Alfie (from Alfie), Missing (from Missing), The way we were (from The way we were) and The rose (from The rose). Elaine is in great voice throughout so your favorites will likely depend on which songs you like best to begin with. In my case, these are Sometimes, Bright eyes, Windmills of your mind and The way we were but most of the others are not far behind. If you enjoy Elaine's music, you will surely love this album. ~Review by Peter Durward Harris~ Release of the album: 1984 [LP K-Tel, Cat.# NE 1282, UK] Release of this CD: 1984 [CD WEA Records Ltd. Rodriguez - Percussion Leon Spencer JR - Organ Ron Levy - Organ, Wultzer Charlie Hunter - Guitar Karl Denson wants you to dance to his music. That's why the former Greyboy Allstars frontman named his first solo album Dance Lesson #2. The disc is a collection of funky, soul-driven tracks highlighted by Denson's fiery extended saxophone solos. Like a true student of jazz, Denson is always experimenting with new collaborations. Instead of enlisting his touring Tiny Universe band, he pulled together a lineup of musical heavyweights including Medeski, Martin & Wood bassist Chris Wood, turntable specialist DJ Logic, legendary organists Leon Spencer Jr. and Ron Levy, awe-inspiring guitarists Melvin Sparks and Charlie Hunter, ex-Greyboy Allstars drummer Zak Najor, and Los Cubanos Postizos percussionist E.J. Rodriguez. The album is a jazz hybrid that flows from the straight-ahead beauty of "A.J. Bustah" to the up-tempo title track, which is invigorated by DJ Logic's scratching and the contrast between Denson's marching flute and wailing sax. "A Shorter Path #1" is a sweet tune that provides the theme for "A Shorter Path #2," a stretched-out smooth jazz exploration of "Path #1." Throughout the album, Denson's dance-inducing, driving groove infuses each inventive track with contagious energy. ~ Carrie Nieman http://rapidgator.net/file/be9c97f0fe5e78085b3d22e809d41cf6/DALES.rar.html http://ssh.tf/CfM2kirVL/DALES.rar http://uploaded.net/file/09ky3w5f/DALES.rar

You may not know European piano player Karel Boehlee, but you'll definitely sit up and take notice after hearing this sweet little set - because he's a hell of a pianist, with a wonderfully lyrical touch! The album's got a masterful sound right from the start - a confident approach to the keys that often has Boehlee leaving just the right amount of space between notes, as he makes his way through the set with very well-matched accompaniment from bassist Frans Bouwmeester and Hans Eykenaar - two more players we don't know at all, but who round out Karel's playing wonderfully. Traditionally the blues are about years of hard living and paying a hard price for it, and about serious lovin' and serious loss. Parodies, which frequently are based on kernels of truth, tell us that a bluesman worth the name must know about women, whiskey, and jail, and not necessarily in that order. But all these assumptions and kernels of truth fly right out the window when it comes to the youthful Canadian blues guitarist known as JW-Jones (and yes, the hyphen is in the right place). Born in Ottawa, he wasn't yet 20 years old when he triumphed in a hometown competition known as the Blues Guitar Riff-Off in 1999. Jones built on his early success and with a band he had pulled together the previous year of musicians who were about as young as he was or younger, the guitarist and his JW-Jones Blues Band set out to record an album. He debuted with Defibrillatin' in 2000. The CD features some numbers that were recorded at home, some that were laid down in a studio as demos, as well as a couple of live numbers. While some critics groused a tiny bit about the quality of the release's sound, they quickly followed the complaint with superlatives for Jones' talent. His band is comprised of "Southside" Steve Marriner, the champion in 1999 of the Blues Harp Blow-Off in Ottawa, on harmonica; Pierre Chretien on organ and piano; drummer Steve Hiscox, and upright bass player Nathan Morris. Jones penned seven of the debut album's tracks. Chretien wrote one song, as did Marriner. Before turning to the guitar, Jones was initially interested in the drums. A change of heart brought him to the guitar after he found himself intently listening to and watching an Ottawa guitarist named Tony D. The guitarist's moves so impressed Jones that he hammered questions at Tony D after his shows. The working musician took the time to answer the teenager's questions, provide tips, and recommend a list of recordings. The switch to guitar from drums was cemented when Jones' grandparents gave him an electric guitar late in 1996. Keyboardist Chretien is credited with bringing a jazz influence to Jones' and the band's sound. Jones met Marriner through the Johnny Russell Band when both played with the outfit, as they still do. In 2001, the Maple Blues Awards honored Defibrillatin' with a nomination. The following year, the Maple Blues Awards listed Jones as a nominee for New Artist of the Year and named Marriner as a finalist for Harp Player of the Year. He followed those achievements up with 2002's Bogart's Bounce, featuring help from Fabulous Thunderbirds Kim Wilson and Gene Taylor. ~Linda Seida http://rapidgator.net/file/7b3d69df637d58dcbab60c35bf5517dd/JWJonesTemperature2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/hLKLW6NFL/JWJonesTemperature2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/exxvxw5a/JWJonesTemperature2016.rar
  14. Artist: Jutta Hipp Title: Hipp Is Cool: The Life And Art Of Jutta Hipp Year Of Release: 2015 (Rec. 1945-1956) Label: BE! Jazz [bE! 6103-09] Genre: Jazz / Cool / Hard Bop / Bop / Piano Quality: FLAC (tracks+.cue, log, scans) Total Time: 6CD (07:03:12) Total Size: 2,52 GB An incredible tribute to German pianist Jutta Hipp - one of the few female players in the postwar European jazz scene, and one of the few who managed to make a splash on this side of the Atlantic too! Jutta's best known to American audiences for a handful of records she cut for Blue Note - and this set takes those records, and moves way way past them - to including a huge range of material that really opens up our understanding of Hipp's music in her all-too-short career! The CDs feature early German recordings - in a number of sessions with small groups that include a quintet with Emil Mangelsdorff on alto and Joki Freeund on tenor, a number of performances in the New Jazz Stars group of tenorist Hans Koller, work in a quintet with Attila Zoller on guitar, another sextet with Albert Mangelsdorff on trombone, and a group co-led with baritone saxoponist Lars Gullin. The set then moves onto American trio recordings from 1956 - including a few tracks from the Newport Jazz Festival - plus a key session with tenorist Zoot Sims - and the package is concluded by very early recordings, some with Hans Koller, and some from the mid 40s with the Lime City Swing Club! The set also features performances on DVD with Hans Koller - and the whole thing comes with a massive 208 page coffee table book - filled not only with German and English notes and biography, plus a recording index, hundreds of photos, record sleeves, labels, and even some of Jutta's own artwork too! A huge amount of music - and a very beautiful package too! The Eastern Sun 4:15 Justin Hayward's new album All The Way is a true testament to the scope and spirit of Justin's impressive solo career. The broad selection of the album's 30 tracks demonstrates the plethora of styles and sounds we've all come to love in Justin's nearly 40 years as a solo artist, and also includes some rare tracks which will especially appeal to longtime fans of Hayward. Over the past five years, Justin has seen his solo career really take off. In addition to playing sold out shows with the Moody Blues, which he's been doing for over 50 years, Justin has been regularly seeing sold out crowds on his recent solo tour too, in part due to the exposure he's been getting from his nationwide PBS concert special which began airing in 2015. What becomes evident when you see Justin live is his pure love of the craft of songwriting and music itself. This is the sense that's so vividly captured on All the Way, an album that has been thrilling fans worldwide. As mentioned earlier, some rare and new tracks are included on All the Way, including one which, up until recently, was lost for 42 years. http://rapidgator.net/file/30dc0514759904067dcf7b4c673706a6/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD1_2016_FLAC.rar.html http://ssh.tf/nYqjazVFL/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD1_2016_FLAC.rar http://uploaded.net/file/o4evof7z/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD1_2016_FLAC.rar http://rapidgator.net/file/47698bc34b1dccc7599fbe58c65eae4b/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD2_2016_FLAC.rar.html http://ssh.tf/Ch3aKHhFL/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD2_2016_FLAC.rar http://uploaded.net/file/0dzr7uh6/Justin_Hayward_-_All_The_Way_CD2_2016_FLAC.rar

Behind Closed Doors (Aleman Hobbs Remix) (2:42) British singer-songwriter Julia Fordham continues to enchant audiences around the world with her extraordinary vocal range and heartfelt songs. From 1988's Happy Ever After - her first release and an international hit - and throughout all 15 albums, her unique voice and exquisitely crafted compositions strike an everlasting chord. A luscious contralto that she wields with an almost operatic command, it is one of the most strikingly beautiful new voices to be heard in pop. - New York Times At 14, Julia started writing songs and performing at local folk clubs. Soon after, she was invited to be a guest singer with the UK's National Youth Jazz Orchestra, which sparked a lifelong love of the genre. On her highly acclaimed second album, Porcelain, two original jazz songs "For You, Only For You" and "China Blue" were featured along with the hits "Manhattan Skyline" and "Lock and Key." In 1992, "Love Moves" (from her third album Swept), was chosen as the theme song for The Butcher's Wife, starring Demi Moore, and became a big hit in the UK, US, and the Philippines. Four of Julia's albums have been produced by Grammy winner Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, Madeleine Peyroux). Her 2005 live CD (That's Life) and DVD (That's Live), features Klein as producer and bass player as part of an all-star band including the Academy Award-winning trumpet player/composer, Mark Isham. On the soulful song (from the album of the same name) "Concrete Love," Julia performs a stunning duet with another Grammy winner, India.Arie. After 2004's devastating tsunami struck in Asia, Julia became intimately involved in a charity project to help rebuild a school in India, by donating the proceeds from a "Happy Ever After" remix. It featured a children's choir from England. This beautiful production brought Julia back full circle to the place where she first started writing and performing as a teenager. In 2007, Julia's Baby Love EP, a set of unconditional love songs dedicated to her daughter, Marley Rose, was released. Julia's 10th album, China Blue, is a collection of original jazz compositions, except for one song: a reinterpretation of Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" with Michael himself contributing his amazing vocals. Under The Rainbow, is a piano/voice album featuring all her hits and fan favorites, plus a new song: "Skipping Under The Rainbow." Mixed, Shaken & Stirred is Julia's latest project. This unique album features some of the songs from Julia's much loved first album, all of which have been remixed, reworked and reconstructed by some of today's leading and cutting edge producers of dance and electronic music. http://rapidgator.net/file/1d8d3261433c8e9c5d7962653cd439f4/Julia_Fordham_-_Mixed__Shaken___Stirred_2016.rar.html http://ssh.tf/Uxdqs3jsL/Julia_Fordham_-_Mixed__Shaken___Stirred_2016.rar http://uploaded.net/file/r1pc1mwj/Julia_Fordham_-_Mixed__Shaken___Stirred_2016.rar

Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria, Act 5: "Illustratevi, o cieli" (Penelope) 15. Giulio Cesare, HWV 17, Act 3: "Da tempeste il legno infranto" (Cleopatra) For her new collection of arias, assertive mezzo Joyce DiDonato took up songs of solace and despair, envisioning their network as a healing bridge of harmony. Handel's "Lascia ch'io pianga" from Rinaldo rests perfectly on the singer's palate, its captivating melodies flowing forth like velvet. Mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato began her career with a string of critically acclaimed debuts, including at La Scala and Covent Garden, as well as triumphs on concert and recital stages. She rose from virtual anonymity in 1999 to international stardom by 2002, becoming one of the most sought-after coloratura mezzo-sopranos of the early twenty-first century. As a coloratura mezzo, some of her greatest successes have come in Baroque repertoire, particularly the operas of Handel, such as Alcina, Ariodante, Dejanira (Hercules), Elmira (Floridante), and Sesto (Giulio Cesare), and in Italian bel canto operas. Her performances are notable for the gleaming purity of her voice, her formidable technique, and her dramatically incisive characterizations. She is capable of projecting great power, as in Handel's Alcina, but is also excels in roles of lightness and humor, such as the heroines in Rossini's comedies. She has also sung many Mozart roles, including Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and while she has steered clear of Verdi and Puccini, her repertory includes Berlioz, Bellini, and contemporary composers like Michael Daugherty (Grace Kelly in Jackie O) and Jake Heggie (Sister Helen in Dead Man Walking). Her recital repertory takes in a range of works, from Handel duets to Spanish songs to Faur??'s M??lodies to Bernstein's and other American songs. DiDonato's recordings are available on Virgin Classics, EMI, Hyperion, Naxos, Avie, Archiv, and TDK. DiDonato was born February 13, 1969, in Prairie Village, KS. She studied at Wichita State University, with the intention of teaching voice. By her 1992 graduation she had become interested in a career in opera and enrolled at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, with further training through programs at the opera companies in San Francisco, Santa Fe, and Houston. DiDonato had a string of successes in competitions, including a victory at the 1998 George London Competition, after which she gave her major debut at the Houston Grand Opera (1999) as Katerina Maslova in Tod Machover's Resurrection. Then came her spectacular 2000 debut at La Scala as Angelina in Rossini's La cenerentola, her stunning Rosina (Rossini's The Barber of Seville) at the Op??ra Bastille in 2001, and her equally sensational Glyndebourne debut in 2003 as the Fox in Jan??cek's The Cunning Little Vixen. DiDonato's first major Handel recordings soon appeared to wide acclaim: the 2005 EMI Radamisto, 2007 Archiv Produktion Floridante, and 2009 Archiv Produktion Alcina. DiDonato debuted at the Met in 2005, singing Cherubino in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and she continued to woo international audiences with her 2006 debut at Madrid's Teatro Real as the Composer in Richard Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos. DiDonato's 2009 Virgin Classics recording, Furore, with conductor Christophe Rousset, has consistently drawn rave reviews while climbing high on the sales charts. http://rapidgator.net/file/66f38bc2e5f844b2040eef5664999582/-9474JDH16falc.rar.html http://ssh.tf/qIZRaORxL/-9474JDH16falc.rar http://uploaded.net/file/fhxf2ve7/-9474JDH16falc.rar
